AM archive in wrong hand

Sadguru Baba has bestowed timeless teachings for the entire humanity and those gifts are stored in the form of cassettes, videos, books and various other media. In addition, there are numerous other special items related with Baba's advent on this planet.
To date, one group has captured most of the items and is generally reluctant to share what they have with the general marga society. Sadly they are not using the archive to propagate Ananda Marga ideology nor are they able to properly care for the basic upkeep of those archive materials. So this is the tragic state of affairs going on these days. If all these precious archive materials had been copied and rationally distributed amongst the margiis and field workers, that would represent the proper use of those gifts. That's why the matter of how to manage Baba's audio and video cassettes, books, and writings has become a pressing issue.
They key question stands: What is the best way to safeguard these treasures and preserve them for the subsequent generations. On this topic, there are two vastly different outlooks.

#1: Static preservation
Some are of the opinion that Baba's audio and video cassettes, books, and writings should be essentially held under lock and key in a few places around the globe. They argue then the future generation can learn Ananda Marga ideology and establish Baba's teachings.
So this first group thinks that locking up those treasures in a central location is the way to protect Baba's ideology and hand down His teachings to the future generation. Those who hold this opinion want to put Baba’s teachings “on ice” as a way to preserve them for the future. This is known as the “cold storage syndrome”.
The people who adhere to this view do not give emphasis to following and bringing Baba's teachings into practice in the here and now. To bring Baba's guidelines into practice is not their wish as they prefer to “be free” and do as they please. Instead, they want to hold onto their mundane power and keep their supremacy by propagating the idea that Baba's "legacy" should be kept safely in storage under their watch - and handed over to future generations.
The reason for this is that to truly adopt Baba's dharmic teaching is difficult as it demands commitment and sacrifice etc. Whereas to capture something and use it as way to control others is an easy job. That's why they propagate such an approach. So their prevailing method is to keep Baba's original discourse cassettes etc in a safe and pass it on to future generations.

#2: Baba's directed approach
Those who are true dharmikas know that the best way to safeguard Guru’s teachings and pass on to the next generation is by putting those teachings into practice now.
A quick review of history provides important insight into this matter. To this day, in many places certain aspects of Lord Shiva's teachings still saturate the Indian soil - and South-East Asian countries also. Not because those teachings were put in storage, but because whatever He taught people practiced in their day to day life. By this way, on a practical level, those teachings were handed down to the next generation. Verily, only by putting Guru's teachings into practice can those guidelines remain in tact through the centuries. And Baba wants this method to continue. Indeed, this is the tantric system for passing Sadguru teachings and ideology to future generations.
Ananda Vanii says, "From place to place, from age to age, the elixir of immortality has been flowing forever. Through the medium of human structures this message of immortality is transmitted onwards... they [human beings] should make rigorous efforts to become worthy mediums (media)...." (1)
Baba is teaching us in the above Ananda Vanii that ideal human beings are the couriers, vehicles, or media to carry His ideology from one age to another. Baba is guiding us that if that ideology is lying in book form only, that is useless. Whereas if the ideology is being studied, followed, and practiced, then those teachings will be passed along to the next generation. Otherwise the future generation will not look into those books that are lying in there in cold storage. One can see the history that such books are often eaten by bugs and termites, or sometimes invaders destroy them etc.

Utility of the archive materials
Every Ananda Margii knows that to stimulate the growth and creation of sadvipras, AM ideology should be taught. To that end, inspiration and encouragement should be given to practice sadhana. So Baba's cassettes, audio and video, should be provided to interested sadhakas for creating a congenial atmosphere and having satsaunga with Guru. These audio-video materials will help in enhancing the practice of shravan, manan, niddidhyasan, kiirtan, japa, iishvara pranidhan, and dhyana etc. When sadhakas listen directly to discourses from Baba's own voice on a regular basis, before or just after their sadhana, in their own home, they will remember, follow, and implement those glorious guidelines.
Baba's teaching is crystal clear: He wants that His ideology should be practiced in one's own individual life. And all those tools (audio recording, video cassettes etc) that contain those teachings should rationally distributed to sadhakas across the globe. Hence, there is a vast difference between Baba's tantric method for safeguarding His teachings and the current approach taken by today’s archive authorities.
Call to action
We should follow Guru's guideline and not be misguided or disillusioned by the false propaganda of the Central Archive. Our duty is to arouse the consciousness in the minds of all Ananda Margiis around the globe as per Baba’s teaching. Then AM ideology can be be practiced. So the tools which Baba has given need to be copied and rationally distributed whereby dedicated sadhakas have access to those original guidelines. That way the ideology can be put into practice by living beings.
Baba wants human beings to incorporate His teachings into their own lives. Only this way can people become competent to carry His ideology forward. To this end, Baba's audio and video are indispensable tools for inculcating dharmic teachings and spiritual values.

Conclusion
The attempt to stockpile Baba's audio-video under lock and key for the future generations has no value. The only practical way to utilize Baba's audio and video, books and writings is to rationally distribute them and make them available to all Margis around the world. Then those teachings will be implemented in day to day life and be carried forward from generation to generation. Keeping them locked up in cold storage will not do.

In the following Baba's teaching, Baba guides that human beings are the real mediums to carry the ideology from one age to another.
Ananda Marga ideology states, "Shiva felt that there should be proper media to propagate the grand and lofty ideals He was teaching. Toma'r pata'ka' ya're da'o ta're bahiba're da'o shakti ["Give strength to the person to whom you give the flag to carry"]. Otherwise who would be able to carry forth so much knowledge, wisdom, intellect, and such a deep spiritual cult? Incompetent people cannot be expected to carry the legacy of anything. If I teach something to an incompetent or undesirable person, it will bear no fruit, it will get wasted. A heron can never learn to speak like a mynah bird, no matter how much it is trained. The incompetent person is just like the heron." (2)

I visited so many known and unknown places, and went to dogmatic, religious sites and so-called tiirthas like Gomateshwara Bahubali temple at Shravanabelagola, Bodhgaya, and other locations like Ananda Nagar, Tiljala Tomb, Jamalpur, Varanasi, Rameshwaram, Puri, or Kailash and traveled to Bodhgaya, Mecca, Rome, Jerusalem. But, unfortunately, I could not find You anywhere. I wandered all around looking for You in one artificial holy land and another “holy land”. But always You remained far and could not be gotten.
Baba, I tried to find You on the seashore as well as in the alleged holy rivers. I went to mosques, temples, churches, jagrtis, Marga Guru Quarters Tiljala, and the tiger’s grave in Jamalpur - and in various other so-called holy places. All the while You remained hidden, beyond the reach. My Arúp, formless I did not see You anywhere in form or figure.
My Parama Purusa, I also visited the caves of the mountains in seeking You. But I never found You. I did not get my dearmost One in any of those external places. It is only now at the end that I see that You are smiling in my mind - in my heart. The Ever-new, blissful One, Parama Purusa, Baba, I do namah to You again and again...

Value of walking vigorously in fresh air
Ananda Marga Yogic Treatments says, "Pure, fresh air has the power to cure diseases. It is advisable to breathe in as fully as possible, because when we do so, the air gets an opportunity to penetrate the lungs completely. It is better to take a walk in the fresh air than to ride a vehicle. If the body does not work up a sufficient sweat, then you should know that you have not taken the air properly." (1)
Everyone is aware that Baba is teaching us to be vigilant about walking every morning and evening, invariably.

Universal guideline on progress
Ananda Marga ideology states, "Those who want to avoid the cultivation of knowledge hardly get any opportunity for psychic clash, and hence the higher kośas of his mind do not get any scope for development. It is through psychic clash that the psychic field gets properly tilled, thereby increasing its fertility. All living beings evolving in the phase of Pratisaiṋcara benefit from this psychic clash."
"Both physical clash and psychic clash accelerate psychic progress. The rat which escapes from the trap never makes the mistake of getting caught again; the fish which frees itself from the fishermans hook never bites the bait again. Physical clash develops the kámamaya kośa and, as a consequence, the instinct to survive. A city ox walks confidently along a busy street in Calcutta, but if a village ox were made to walk along the same road, it would become crazy." (1)
Note: The general rule is: Physical clash is the impetus for physical development; psychic clash brings about psychic development; and, the attraction for the Great leads to spiritual development.
