With the virtue of my pújá, arcaná, and dakśińá, I could not get You
"Tiirthe tomáre khunjiá páiini,gáne dharivár prayás kori,..." (4874)
Purport:
Notes for Prabhat Samgiita #4874:
[1] Ritualistic puja: Any type of worship that involves praying and making offerings to an idol, going to tiirthas, singing hymns to the idol etc
[2] Arcana: Any worship done with external paraphernalia or worldly offering such as flowers, sandalwood., colours etc.
Some dogmatic Hindu worshipers collect physical articles, lamps, and flowers and do certain rituals to honour and call the Lord. That is arcana. In our Ananda Marga that physical, external, and ritualistic approach does not belong.
And Baba tells us, "The type of worship which is performed with selfish motive and external paraphernalia is called arca or arcana." (1)
[3] Daksina: Offering in cash and kind (sweets, money) made to the priest.
Below is the photo of arcana tray and the various materials used in dogmatic Hindu worship. Overall there are innumerable types of arcanas where different mundane materials are involved. Here is one sample of one type of arcana used in worshipping the deity. Shown below are edibles. scents, colour, paste & sweets, and two idols. Other arcana materials include dainties and delicacies, flowers, grains, nuts, leaves, fragrance, medicine, clothes, ornaments all types of household things can be sued - they are countless.

Baba says, "In the Vedic language, the word 'guru' is derived from the root 'gur' plus the suffix 'un'. The root 'gur' means 'to train others how to speak, how to behave in a dignified manner'. The Guru teaches us to follow a methodical way of life. To love is not the only work of the Guru. One who only loves you is your enemy, and one who only punishes you is also your enemy. But the one who both loves and punishes in a balanced way is the real Guru." (1)
Note: Along with the Guru-disciple relation, this aforesaid Baba's teaching is equally applicable in (a) ideal parent-child relations, (b) ideal "shraman'a"-trainee relations, and (c) ideal teacher-student relations.

Purport:
O' Parama Purusa, I searched for You in different so-called holy places but I utterly failed to find You. My whole approach was meaningless, just a waste of time. Because my quest was based on dogma and ignorance. That is why I was met with failure and could not reach unto You. So now I am trying to reach You through Prabhat Samgiita songs. In the first phase - indulging in lies and hypocrisy I didn’t succeed in getting You. But, by Your grace, now I am moving on the path of satya, eternal truth.
Baba, I heard that You remained in Your heavenly abode - satya loka - while I lie in the deepest, darkest depths, drowned in all kinds of vices, i.e. at the bottom of the underworld, wasting time only in eating sleeping and procreation and not doing sadhana. Alas, I thought that with the virtue of my ritualistic pújá [1], arcaná [2], and dakśińá [3], I could have You close. I thought by this way I would get You, but instead it was just a waste of time.
O' the Supreme Entity, I wondered why I was not getting You and was just remaining far away. I thought You are very distant from me so I can’t get Your proximity. Now how can I dye my mind, in Your colour? Baba, let Your grace, Your blessing, and the devotional strength of my longing for You, pull me and draw me close to You.

Time
has come to blow the trumpets of victory
- Ananda
Vanii #3
Ananda Vanii states, “Thorns on
the path cannot deter those who have assembled with the
determination to march in unison. They are blowing the trumpets
of victory in an effort to conquer the universe of a timid mind.
O human beings march ahead – let the song of march be your only
slogan.” (1)
