Which type of theory: AM + 2 more

Baba

Which type of theory: AM

Namaskar,

Saeddha'ntik tattva (imaginary, fictitious theory) is an impotent or even harmful theory that is not based on practice. Just someone creates their own fanciful theory and tries to apply it to the world. And this invariably creates problems.

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "If theory precedes practice many difficulties will be encountered." (1)

In contrast, prayogabhaomik tattva (practical theory) is grounded in the true reality. In this case, the theory is based on what is already existing in the world, and thus that theory is of deep and lasting value.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "A theory which follows practice will be successful." (2)

Prayogabhaomik tattva (practical theory) means viewing those things which are already part of the natural order - like seeing the apple falling from the tree - and then formulating the theory of gravity based on that phenomenon. In such cases, the theory will be proper; it will never go bad. It will not be proved wrong or incorrect.

But if any person who is a dry intellectual sits at his table and writes all kinds of philosophy, and then tomorrow updates that philosophy, and then the next day some problem comes and again he updates his self-imagined philosophy, then that cannot be called as prayogabhaomik tattva (practical theory). Because prayogabhaomik tattva (practical theory) is a lasting theory that is beyond change. And it is formulated on those systems and properties which are already existing and operating in the world.

Baba's example of kaoshikii

For instance, Baba has created the kaoshikii dance. That time He saw the internal parts of the body and decided what type of exercise will be best. Because He practically saw that certain glands and organs etc needed a particular type of exercise.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

So it is not that first He created the exercises and then the limbs have to be switched around in order to accommodate that philosophy - or that the glands have to be changed or tweaked in a certain way. Rather always those limbs and those glands were operating in a certain way and they needed a specific type of exercise, i.e. kaoshikii. So Baba's approach is perfectly functional and accurate. In contrast, if anyone makes a theory not based on practice then it will fail.

AM philosophy

Taraka Brahma Baba has an inherent understanding how things are working, such as how the human mind functions. That is direction of AM philosophy. That is why in numerous books on the Author's page Baba has written that Ananda Marga is the common feeling of the human heart. What human beings feel in the heart and what human psychology exists, accordingly AM theory has been given.

In a similar fashion, the whole cycle of brahmacakra is moving in its own way. And those who saw those who know what is the need. So Baba, being the Taraka Brahma, sees and knows the nature of everything. That is why His philosophy is always perfect.

The present scenario

But nowadays in the world people do not follow this special approach. Instead, they invent their own baseless theories and that creates mayhem, whereby different pseudo-yogis dream up various exercises like misguided pranayama etc and then later on it is found that such exercises are extremely dangerous. And still others fall into the same trap and create so many exercises like boxing, and later it was discovered that it was damaging to the brain. And in that way they have created so many other things that led to so many dangers.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Thus there are many people engaged in such type of utopian theories which they propagate and then tomorrow it becomes outdated. Because they are just making their own type of formula which is not grounded in practice. So their theory stems from intellectual extravaganza, nothing more. The theory of communism too failed because it preceded practice.

Conclusion

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "I have already told you that human civilisation is in danger. The chief reason is that in so many cases theory has preceded practice. You must not entertain any of these." (3)

So we should all be aware about the negative pitfalls of saeddha'ntik tattva ((imaginary, fictitious theory)),  as well as the positive and unique approach of prayogabhaomik tattva (practical theory). All of the Ananda Marga teachings are perfectly suited to human life; they are prayogabhaomik tattva (practical theory).

Baba says, "Victory is sure to embrace you. Difficulties and encumbrances cannot be more powerful than your capacity to solve them. You are the children of the great Cosmic Entity." (4)

In Him,
Kamalanayana

Note: Saeddha'ntik tattva is an imaginary, fictitious theory because it is not based on universal laws or proven tenets. It is just the fairytale concoction of one jinani (useless intellectual). In contrast, prayogabhaomik tattva is any practical theory which stems from the unfolding truths that are inherent to this universe.

This is a deep subject so best is to read Baba's two discourses on this very matter. Refer to "Theory and Practice" in PNS-6, and the appendix of AV-30 titled "Principles and Practice of Philosophy and Cult". In addition in the 1970's Baba's has given Seminar Notes on this topic as well. So by referring to Baba's discourses then the entire subject will be clear.

== Section 2: Important Teaching ==

No need for recognition

Note: The following teaching contains two ideas that demand our attention.

#1: When serving others by doing shudrocita seva, one should not desire their appreciation, thanks, or kind words. And one should not become displeased if those persons do not express their gratitude. One should feel happy to have been given the opportunity to serve Narayan in the form of a suffering person.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “Another way to give the public their due respect is to serve them properly. While preaching with a shudrocita idea in view, it should particularly be kept in mind that during the service you will not enter into a propaganda work. Very likely it may so happen that you may go on attending on him, but he does not pay any heed to your single utterance or you do not get any chance to put a word to him, but you need not be sorry for that, because (Náráyan) in human form has accepted, taking your service and this much is your gain. Is it a less important gain?” (1)

Way to convince non-margiis

#2: When trying to convince others about the ideals of Ananda Marga, if the next person is not understanding then best is to give an example from various local scriptures etc. Try to relate that example with Ananda Marga ideology. It is just like how in India you may cite the Gita, Ramayana, or the Vedas, and in Muslim countries you may give an example from the Koran, or for Christians one may cite the Bible. By this way you will be able to teach them Ananda Marga philosophy. The formula is to start teaching them from the point that they already know, and guide them into new realms of knowledge.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “The verbal comment on the speeches of others does not impress the people so much as the printed words of a book do, more so if those words are confirmed directly or indirectly by any religious scripture.” (2)

Known sin + 2 more

Baba

Known sin

Namaskar,

Question: What's the problem in attending an annual death day commemoration MPD on 21st October?

Answer: First and foremost, any type of annual death ceremony is contrary to the teachings of Ananda Marga. This type of annual death ceremony ritual is common in the dogmatic religions, but forbidden in the dharma of Ananda Marga. It is against Caryacarya which states that all observances for the deceased must be completed within 12 days. The dogmatic religions observe annual death day programs, but true margiis do not. Such ceremonies are dogmatic and against Guru. https://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com/

Ananda Marga Caryacarya states, "The period of mourning should not extend beyond twelve days." (1)

Of highest importance is that Sadguru Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji is Mahasambhuti and He remains eternally as the Taraka Brahma. So there is no question of there being any type of death day commemoration on 21st October. Ananda Marga

Caryacarya guides us, "The one formless, beginningless and infinite Parama Brahma (Supreme Consciousness) is the only entity to be attained by living beings-That alone is Jagat Guru (the Supreme preceptor), That alone has revealed Brahmavidya (intuitional science ) to us through the medium of the name and form of Anandamurtijii. Unit beings must be made to appreciate Its majesty. " (2)

Those who think that there is nothing wrong with observing so-called mahaprayan are unaware of Guru's teachings. They are severely harming themselves by transgressing His guidelines and going against His desire.

Ananda Marga Caryacarya states, "The period of mourning should not extend beyond twelve days." (3)

So-called mahaprayan is anti-Dharma Guru Baba

Every Ananda Margii knows that Baba never raised the matter of "mahaprayan", and never gave His approval for any type of mahaprayan function. As bhaktas, true margiis should never do what Baba does not want. What He wants - ie what He has given in Caryacarya - is what true Ananda Margiis should do. As His disciples, we should surrender unto Him and do as per His desire, ie follow His divine teachings. True Ananda Margiis never put their own brain first and make their own rules that are contrary to the teachings of Parama Purusa Baba. Those who do like this are traitors to Guru. Baba strictly told us not to do like this - that is a sin of commission.
https://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com/

Ananda Marga Caryacarya states, "The period of mourning should not extend beyond twelve days."

Best is to be strict in Sixteen Points. From birth to death, from one's first rising in the day to taking rest in the night, Baba has given explicit instructions for each and every aspect of life. He has given thousands of discourses and spoken on countless topics of philosophy and knowledge, and nowhere did He say one word about mahaprayan.

Lord Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji is Taraka Brahma. No human being should think that they are greater than that. What He told us to do we should do; and that which He told not to do should never be done - such as an annual shraddha ceremony like so-called mahaprayan. When mahaprayan is against Baba's command, then why would anyone wish to destroy their existence by attending the annual death ceremony. That is against Baba's wishes. That is spiritual suicide.

Ananda Marga Caryacarya states, "The period of mourning should not extend beyond twelve days." (5)

He remains eternally as Taraka Brahma

When the omnipresent Supreme Entity Parama Purusa wishes to communicate directly with His bhaktas He is called Taraka Brahma. Taraka Brahma Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji is is ever present in His divine form as Taraka Brahma - eternally always with us. That is how He guides us as Guru and we meditate on Him. By this way, by His grace, every sadhaka gets His blessing in various spiritual practices.

Ananda Marga Caryacarya states, "The period of mourning should not extend beyond twelve days." (6)

Eating sinful food

Moreover, eating food at any type of death ceremony is forbidden. Yet the MPD organizers offer a 7-day program that is full of tasty meals and feasting; this is a complete violation of Caryacarya. Verily, those attending annual so-called death day MPD dogma are eating sinful food.
https://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com/

Ananda Marga Caryacarya says, "Shráddhánna: Shráddhánna (food offered at a memorial service) ... is not to be taken." (7)

Note: " Priityanna : If a person wants to feed you out of genuine intimacy, you should take that food happily, even if it is just grains and vegetables. But if someone invites you only to make a show to people, never accept his / her food. Ápadanna : When life is jeopardized because of the lack of food and water, you need not consider whether the food is prohibited on any grounds or comes from an unworthy person. (Caryacarya - 2, Society, Point # 37)

So-called mahaprayan is against Guru's wishes

Ananda Marga Caryacarya guides us, "The one formless, beginningless and infinite Parama Brahma (Supreme Consciousness) is the only entity to be attained by living beings-That alone is Jagat Guru (the Supreme preceptor), That alone has revealed Brahmavidya (intuitional science) to us through the medium of the name and form of Anandamurtijii. Unit beings must be made to appreciate Its majesty. " (8)

So-called mahaprayan is against Baba's command. So why would anyone wish to ruin their spiritual life and destroy their existence by attending the annual dogmatic death ceremony on 21st October. That is against Baba's wishes. That is spiritual suicide.

You painted the picture of new era

"Álor Sáyare d́heu jágáyecho, alakár sudhá jharáyecho, tumi ..." (Prabhat Samgiita # 0865)

Purport:

My Parama Purusa, You have created a huge surge of tidal waves in the ocean of divine refulgence, and You are showering the nectar of the immortal world. After dispelling the dark fog of avidya and staticity, You have graciously brought the crimson dawn.

Parama Purusa, those human minds burning in the three afflictions (trit'ap) - physical, psychic, and spiritual - of the past, present, and future, You have quenched and satiated their thirst for the infinite. To those dumb, inert, crude, materialistic, human minds You have given the message of liberation and taught them a dharmic way of life. You have done everything.

Parama Purusa, Baba, You want to see that all humans, animals, and plants - all animate and inanimate objects - move together in harmony by eliminating the distinction between each and every entity across this entire creation. For this reason, You painted the picture of a brilliant, new era, along with the emergence of proper intellect and the sublime teachings of neo-humanism. Everything You have done…

Note for Prabhat Samgiita # 0865

[1] Trit'apa: three afflictions: Ananda Marga ideology states, “Human capacity is very limited - we cannot ignore this truth. Human afflictions are trifarious: physical, psychic and spiritual. The physical afflictions originate from the material world and the psychic afflictions from the unmanifest world or human mind. In some countries of the world people have abundant supplies of food and clothes, but are they happy? No, they too suffer from pains and miseries, troubles and diseases. They too mourn the loss of their nearest and dearest ones. These are psychic afflictions. Next are the spiritual afflictions. The periphery of human mind is small, and this small mind remains engrossed with limited objects. The mind must be raised above these limited objects, above the world of limited happiness, into the limitless spiritual world. Limited psychic wealth is the root cause of spiritual afflictions. The state of breaking the bondages of limitations is known as "spiritual liberation." When that liberation is permanent it is called "salvation". " (1)
