Story: example of liila

- Tiljala. Decade 1980. WT reporting was going on at the BABA QUARTER. BABA asked GS, Vijayananda dada, and DPS dada to form a team to do one important work. BABA told that you have to write down the scientific names of those birds 🐦 which are chirping the most at Tiljala and in Ananda Nagar. BABA gave them only 24 hours time to complete the job and report back to HIM.
After
getting the assignment, GS dada and Vijayananda dada told DPS dada that
they were already preoccupied with so many duties previously assigned
by BABA, and hence it was now the duty of only DPS dada to do the job
just assigned by BABA.
DPS
dada had only 24 hours time. He was in extreme tension about what to
do. He started thinking about how to get the scientific names of those
birds. After thinking and thinking, he went to terrace of the Tiljala
AMPS building. There he found one overseas margii sitting and writing
something in a notebook on the terrace floor. Dada asked him what he was
doing? The overseas margii replied innocently that he was writing down
the scientific names of the birds which he had seen at Tiljala. And he
also informed that he had already written down the names of the birds
which he had seen at Ananda Nagar.
DPS
dada was aghast and stunned to find everything whatsoever BABA asked of
him. Out of curiosity, Dada asked the margii why he was writing down
the names of those birds? He replied that it was his hobby. DPS dada
asked for a copy of the list of the birds' names, and DPS dada
ultimately handed it over to BABA.
