Hypocrisy & fake surrender

#1. Some hypocrites do not have the feeling of surrender within, but when others need their help then they tell them there is no need to do anything - just surrender. By this way they shirk their responsibility of helping others. For instance, if Mr. X came to Mr. Y saying that, “My child is sick so please help me.” But Mr. Y is a hypocrite and does not want to help Mr. X. So Y suggests to X, “Don’t do anything - just surrender to God and everything will be alright.” By this way Y escapes his moral duty and keeps his prestige safe through hypocrisy.

When human beings feel that, “Parama Purusa is my everything”, then that is called as sharan (shelter). No entity can come under the sharan (shelter) of two different things. Then what is the meaning of sharanagati (surrender)? When living beings give up their “I-feeling” by withdrawing the mind from any other object and feel that Parama Purusa alone is my everything. Up to the time when living beings are thinking that they are working with their own strength, then you should understand that the feeling of sharanagati has not yet come in them. And when human beings think that, “I am doing the work only with His strength”, it means the feeling of sharanagati has come in their mind. So when living beings start thinking that, “Whatever work I am doing, I am doing with His strength”, then they have the feeling of sharanagati. (English summary)
#2. However, ignorant people get confused and think that if the house is burning then there is no need to do anything - just raise your hands to the sky. They wrongly think that is surrender.

A true bhakta thinks that whatever strength you have you should use to solve the crisis and go on thinking, “It is His strength and that He is supplying the energy - and without His energy, I cannot do anything. If He wishes then only will I be rescued - it is fully depending on Him.” Whatever strength God has given must be utilised remembering that He is the final doer.

Due to a knowledge deficit, even good bhaktas and sadhakas get drawn in the wrong direction and get caught up in dogmas.
One who boasts of anything is a fool
Ananda Marga ideology teaches us, “Prańipáta means complete surrender to the Eternal Entity, Parama Puruśa. The mental attitude that “whatever is, is from Parama Puruśa and nothing is mine” is prańipáta. One who has ego, one who thinks that one's intellect, wealth and other things are one's own, is the greatest fool. A person boasts of learning, intellect and fortune. But nothing is eternal. Therefore one who boasts of anything of this world is a fool. The worst psychic knot is the false vanity of intellect. Whatever is, is of Parama Puruśa; nothing is yours. Hence there should be complete surrender to Parama Puruśa. This is the first indispensable factor for mental development. If you really want to serve the world, complete surrender at the feet of Parama Puruśa is a must. That is, submission to the Eternal Entity, to Parama Puruśa, is prańipáta. The possessor of this creation is that very Parama Puruśa. All these works belong to Him. We are only His media. If I don't do the works entrusted to me, he will get them done by others. Before doing any work, I must think that Parama Puruśa is doing this work through me.” (1)
When a person takes initiation, it is not very difficult to accept that Baba is their Guru, Master, or teacher. Even crude people believe Baba is their teacher. Next one cultivates the reverence that He is above that of an ordinary human. People gain this respect for those whom they admire. In worldly life, people admire musicians and writers etc. In India, there are millions of Gurus. So accepting Baba as Guru is not a big job. Even common people do this. In that case they see that Baba is Guru whereas God is God. For them, Baba is not God. Intellectually they do not think that the Baba Nam Kevalam kiirtan is chanted for the Lord. They never reach this conclusion.

What magic is there in Your tunes and melodies. It is difficult to comprehend how wonderful and unearthly Your tunes and melodies are, through which You are communicating with me. You are the nucleus of charm.
Baba, the Divine Entity, in the abode of my mind, the blissful vibrations of Your bánshii resonate incessantly - ceaselessly. By Your grace, I hear Your cosmic flute always: While sleeping, in my dreams, and in my awakened state, I hear omkara sound. I think only about You - it is Your grace. You are residing in my heart all the time, all the 24hrs. Prabhu, I feel the pain of longing for You. To relieve myself of that angst, I want to forget You. But how can I when You are there in my heart, always.
Baba, my Parama Purusa, no matter how many octaves I know, I am unable to sing Your glory. Your greatness is beyond narration. You remain beyond all musical melodies - out of the reach of my mind. By going close to You my entire I-feeling gets suspended in samadhi. My Supreme Guide, Your rhythms, the songs of Your exquisite flute, and Your blissful resonance make me float beyond all the lokas and establish me in the supreme realm. It is Your krpa.

[1] Bánshi / Flute: Ananda Marga ideology states, “The rhythm in which the vibrational flow of the cosmic mind vibrates the annamáya kośa of individual microcosms – veins, nerves, arteries, blood, lymph, etc. – is the initial stage of the divine cosmic sound. When this sound is heard in the anamáya kośa it resembles that of a cricket. When this cosmic sound vibrates the kámamaya kośa it resembles the sound of ankle bells. In the manomaya kośa it resembles a flute; ... in atimánasa kośa, the resonance of a gong; in vijiṋánamaya kośa the buzzing of bees or the rolling of ocean waves; and in hirańmaya kośa, a prolonged oṋḿ sound. Mundane love does not last
Ananda Marga philosophy states, "The person with whom you live with all the warmth of your life will ultimately desert you – it is a cruel game. Confronted with this grim reality one should be very cautious about selecting one's goal. One thing is clear – the Supreme Entity alone should be accepted as ones goal." (1)
Note: If you ask someone, "What is the most important thing in your life?", then most will respond that it is their kids, or spouse, or job etc. Or they will say that their goal is to become a billionaire. This is what most commonly think. Their goals are mundane. People forget that everything in this world is moving - temporary. And when one's goal is mundane then that too is transitory - here today, gone tomorrow.
It is just like if two people fall in love on the platform of the railway station, and then each gets on separate trains. Then so long as those two trains are moving at the same rate those two people can see each other. But that condition will not last long. Soon the trains begin moving at different speeds and going in different directions. Similarly, if a person thinks that their children or wife are everything, then it means they have forgotten the fact that their time together will be short-lived - for a maximum of 125 years. Either they or their family members will die first. No one can live forever.
Whose eyes have been opened by Guru
But people cannot think in this way - instead they think they will live forever. This is the play of avidya maya at work. They do not realise what is going on. Only those blessed people - whose eyes have been opened by Guru - realise that only the Cosmic Entity can be the Goal. Life is for Parama Purusa, not any mundane object. Those worldly things are for objective adjustment only.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "There is a secret technique to raise this serpentine coil. Previously this technique was not clearly given. At that time some people thought it proper to keep it secret. If something harmful to individual or collective life is not given, that is good; but the useful things have to be given. People will be more attracted to do sádhaná."
"The first thing is that this kulakuńd́alinii rises slowly from the múládhára cakra to the sahasrára cakra in eight steps, it passes through eight cakras, and the sahasrára cakra is the ninth. Just below the sahasrára cakra is the guru cakra. When one meditates at the guru cakra, the kuńd́alinii takes one jump upwards, and the mind goes to the other side of the cakra [i.e., to the sahasrára.] This is the technique of sádhaná, but it has previously neither been explained nor written in books."
"The kulakuńd́alinii rises upward in eight jumps or phases, so with two syllables in a siddha mantra, the kuńd́alinii will jump four times. But a general, or publicly-given, siddha mantra will make the kulakuńd́alinii jump eight times or in eight phases. That is why such a siddha mantra has eight syllables. So you should understand that a proper kiirtana must have eight syllables, never seven or nine syllables." (1)
Note 1: This was the prevalent dogma in the past in India that so-called gurus of the past did not like to share their all their knowledge or reveal all of their techniques to their disciples. They were thinking they should keep something 'special' for themselves otherwise their prestige and own value will be lost. So they withheld certain teachings and they died with those special techniques.
In that case, their disciples only got 99% or so of what the guru had - not everything, not that last 1%. Gradually then from one generation to the next 1% kept getting withheld until finally everything got completely lost.
And now in places like India in the name of spirituality, only dogma is left. This is the reason why: The withholding of vital information. This applies to other fields as well such as medicine etc. This same type of withholding of information and technique occurs in many fields. All done by selfish people to "enhance" their prestige. When, in truth, it undermines their greatness. This dogma and defective way must be stopped.
Note 2: Baba has given the idea in Namah Shivaya Shantaya that when one gets proper students who are eager and capable, then in that case tell them everything. Do not withhold any information or keep anything secret. That will be disservice to the society.

Who can be an ideal Prout leaderShrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar says, "Prout is based on spirituality." (1)
Shrii Prabhat RanjanSarkar says, "Bodhi jinana, i.e. intuitional (spiritual) knowledge, can be utilised for solving mundane problems. Thus Prout is bodhi jinana." (2)
Note: On and off some have suffered from a particular dogma where they were claiming that communists & socialists are great Prout leaders. And sometimes they have also claimed that any type of atheistic thinker can be a great Prout leader. Such proclamations are completely wrong.
One should always remember Guru's teaching that those who lack spirituality cannot understand Prout. That means one must be firmly established in sadhana to be a Prout leader. Without that, they will be unfit to lead. Calling a non-sadhaka a great Prout leader is akin to saying that a pig lying in the dirty drain is the cleanest and most pristine living being of this universe. On this matter there should not be any confusion. Top sadhakas alone are capable of being leaders of Prout and guiding the society forward. Here is Ananda Marga philosophy’s complete teaching on this matter:
Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar says, “PROUT is based on spirituality. Neohumanism is also based on spirituality. Neither PROUT nor Neohumanism are subservient to each other.” (3)
Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar says, “Knowledge is of two kinds: intellectual and intuitional. Intellectual knowledge is based on experience, hence it is embedded in relativity. It cannot therefore claim to be absolute. Intuitional knowledge is transcendental in character. It dissects and analyses everything by itself, therefore it is absolute.”
“The approach of PROUT is subjective approach through objective adjustment. This presupposes a connecting link between intuition and intellect. This connecting link or touching point is called “Bodhi Jiṋána”. With the help of Bodhi Jiṋána, intuitional knowledge can be utilized for solving mundane problems. Thus PROUT is a Bodhi Jiṋána.”
“Logic is a psychic survey. Such a survey may or may not be correct, therefore it is futile to follow logic blindly. The result of your psychic survey is called your rationality. This psychic survey, embedded in relativity, may or may not be correct. Intuitional vision is the best logic. Intuitional vision should be your guiding ideology. For example, it is an axiomatic truth that everything has come from the Cosmic Father and everything will merge in Him, but this truth is beyond the scope of intellectual logic.” (4)
