Police everywhere + 4 more

Baba
Police everywhere

Namaskar,

These days, more than ever, we are seeing an increase in security tactics and spying techniques by political leaders and governments world-wide, especially in capitalist nations as exemplified by the US. Just when we think security is at its peak, it reaches a whole new level. Looking back merely 20 or 30 years, the situation was vastly different.

As A'nanda Ma'rgiis, we should have a developed understanding about this rising phenomenon. It is our duty to analyse and evaluate the ebbs and flows of the current social structure. It is our job to spread the teachings of Prout within the greater society. Keeping this in mind, we should all take pointed efforts to examine the root cause behind the heightened security measures taken in this present vaeshyan era.

Accumulating excessive physical wealth by depriving others

Human thirst is infinite - limitless. With materialism nearing its peak, there is a mad dash for material wealth. The entire focus is on the sparkling delights and allurements of this limited, material world. Capitalism is the chief vehicle for this allurement toward physicality. Everyone's infinite longing has been misdirected toward physical objects. Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar, the Propounder of Prout, points out the terrible situation that results.

Prout philosophy states, "If the infinite longing of the human mind does not find the proper path leading to psychic and spiritual fulfilment, it becomes engaged in accumulating excessive physical wealth by depriving others...they do not care to realize that the volume of commodities on the earth is limited, whereas the requirement is common to all. Excessive individual affluence, in most cases, deprives others of the minimum requirements of life." (1)

When people direct their minds towards physicality they are bound to exploit others.

Starving, exploited masses will loot them

A 'tug-o-war' has started in this capitalist era. On the one side the common people have been exploited terribly and do not have the requisite means to live. They lack even the most fundamental requirements like food, shelter, medical care, and clothing etc. Under the pressure of circumstance, they are desperately seeking material goods - for their very survival - to heal the elderly, clothe the children, and put a roof over their head.

In the other camp, top capitalist exploiters are geared toward controlling all the wealth. Their insatiable appetites are focused on accumulating more and more money and material resources, at the expense of the common people. The exploiters are keeping the exploited under wraps; they have pinned them to the ground. In this battle, the rapacious capitalists have emerged as the clear-cut winner.

To safeguard their status, those ruling capitalists are hiring more security personnel and using more surveillance technologies to protect their riches in fear of the starving, exploited masses looting them.

The capitalist system is actually no society. The social flow is revolving around one single idea: Grab as much material wealth as possible, no matter the negative effect this has on others. This is the accepted rule and all the laws support this tenet.
http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Prout philosophy states, "Capitalists declare, “We have amassed wealth by our talent and labour. If others have the capacity and diligence, let them also do the same; nobody prevents them”." (2)

With their misdirected longing, those capitalists at the helm want to get more prestige and power. And they have created such a system where it is legal for them to accumulate immense wealth, while their neighbors struggle to even survive. This is the dichotomy sanctioned by capitalism.

Conclusion

At first, decades ago, the exploited mass willingly accepted and tolerated the ways of capitalism as it was not so extreme in those initial stages. The people were lured into thinking that one day they would also become rich. So they abided by the ways of capitalism.

But now the people's eyes are slowly opening to the fact that their dream of becoming rich will not come true. Especially this is the case of those youths who feel that either they will be left to eat the scraps of others or die an unceremonious death stricken by poverty. So within and across country lines there is the growing desire amongst the common people to stake their claim to the world's wealth.

Acutely aware about this, those top capitalists, often in cahoots with government officials, are taking more and more security measures to protect their wealth. They know they have to tighten security otherwise the masses will take away everything. So this is the defining feature of capitalism: More exploitation, more accumulation of wealth by vaeshyas, and more security to protect their riches.

In the race for greed and acquisition

In these following quotes Prout philosophy graphically details the exploits of those capitalist forces.

Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar writes, "Individualistic or laissez-faire sense develops [into] capitalism when the means of production passes into the hands of a few who are more interested in personal exploitation. At this stage it can be said that the instinct of acquisition has developed tremendously. The thirst for acquisition instigated them to [develop] the psychology of complete exploitation of the human race also, and this resulted in a class by itself. In the race for greed and acquisition not all could survive, and only a few remained to dominate the society in general and the economic set-up in particular by their capital. The great majority were either duped into believing that they would be allowed to share such resources, or were neglected and left uncared-for for want of strength and did not survive the race. Such people in society ultimately occupy the place of exploited slaves of the capitalists. They are slaves because they have no option other than to serve the capitalists as labourers to earn the means of subsistence." (3)

Plight of poor

Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar states, "Non-utilization of over-accumulated physical and psychic pabula is the second cause for becoming a sinner. I have already discussed the problems of the 'have's', and the 'have-nots'. To satisfy the greed of the have's, the have-not's become slaves...The have's mis-utilize the intellectual and physical wealth of the have-not's to satisfy their baser propensities. In the background sit the big capitalists; in the foreground, as their agents, are half-naked children! This is the cause of the downfall of society." (4)

Prout philosophy states, "That is, these days, a person who possesses wealth is respected and revered whereas a person without money is a person honoured by none. The poor, whoever they may be, have to woo the rich just for the sake of earning their livelihood. Human values have become meaningless, for human beings have become the means for the rich to earn money. The rich, having purchased the human mind with their money, are busy playing a game of chess with the other members of society. Bereft of everything, people toil round the clock to earn a mere pittance. Today the motto of people is, “I have to send some food particles into the apathetic stomach after somehow taking a dip in the muddy water amidst hyacinths." (5)

Half-clad beggars and lepers desperately stretching

Prout philosophy guides us, "Those who are at the helm of society, constantly suspicious of others, forever count their losses and profits. They have no desire to think about the plight of humanity. Rather, to gratify themselves they are ready to chew the human bone, and suck human blood. For the self-centred there is no place for feelings of mercy, sympathy or camaraderie. The railway stations and market places are full of half-clad beggars and lepers desperately stretching out their begging bowls, earning their livelihood in the only way they know. They are fortunate if anyone contemptuously flings them a copper coin. The old blind beggars sitting all day long on the steps of a bridge automatically lift their bowls whenever anyone walks past. But their hungry pleas fall on deaf ears. On the other side of the social coin, sumptuous dishes are being prepared to entertain the rich dignitaries. These contrasts ridicule the present human society." (6)

Special technique to exploit

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “Psycho-economic exploitation is the latest form of dangerous and all-devouring capitalist exploitation. It is a special type of exploitation which first weakens and paralyses people psychologically in various ways, and then exploits them economically. Some of the methods of psycho-economic exploitation include, first, the suppression of the indigenous language and culture of local people; secondly, the extensive propagation of pseudo-culture, exemplified by pornographic literature which debases people’s mind and particularly undermines the vitality of the youth; thirdly, the imposition of numerous restrictions on women, forcing them to be economically dependent on men; fourthly, an unpsychological education system with frequent political interference by vested interests; fifthly, the negation of dharma in the name of secularism; sixthly, the balkanization of society into numerous castes and groups; seventhly, the damaging of society by the use of unnatural and harmful methods of birth control; and eighthly, placing the control of different mass media, such as newspapers, radio and television, in the hands of capitalists. Both intellectual exploitation and psycho-economic exploitation are great dangers to the human race today.” (7)

The most revered one

"Ta're go peyechi samgopane mor jiivane, jiivane, jiivane..." (Prabhat Samgiita #0286)

Purport:

Since eternity I have been searching that divine Cosmic Entity-- Parama Purus'a. And today, by His grace, I have gotten Him secretly in my life, in my life, in my life. That invisible divine Entity, in the silent span of time, has gotten held in my mind, in my mind.

Earlier I was unaware how close He was to me. Unknowingly, I was chanting His song and name. Yet He was hiding secretly, very secretly, in the depths of my mind. So I could not recognise His presence.

But due to His divine effulgence He could not remain hidden forever. His sublime radiance made Him recognized. And now I have received Him fully in my mind-- it is His grace.

He has tied me in a bond of love. In the deep core of my heart, He pulls and attracts me with His charming eyes. What an unforgettable love reflects in His eyes-- His charming eyes, His charming eyes.

Baba, Your divine form and colour brings the flow of nectar into my life. Baba, by Your divine grace, today I have gotten You and am holding You close...

Poor show

Namaskar,

Everyone knows - even the common masses - that one should sit up straight for sadhana and not have a curled back. And the absolute worst is if one is sleeping whereby their chin gets glued to their chest.

Ananda Marga Caryacarya states, "Sit in padmásana [lotus posture], but instead of interlocking the fingers, they may rest one palm upon the other; and keep the spine erect." (1)

And verily with the fast spread of yoga all over the globe, even non-practitioners know that one should sit up straight in meditation.

Dadas in deep slumber

Now look at what was going on at a DMS. This is a scene from the pandal: This below photo was selectively circulated by Ranchi group. See how three dadas are numbered with white numerals as: #1, #2, and #3. And there is a drawn purple box around them.

Now find Dada #1 in the photo and take note how he is in deep slumber. Instead of his crown cakra pointing up to the sky, his turban is lateral to the ground because he has fallen asleep and his chin is stuck to his chest. And Dada #2 has also fallen into a deep sleep; his chin has dropped down to his chest and his turban is also directed forward, not upright.

And finally we come to Dada #3 who is in a groggy state with a round back. Although all three are bad, Dadas #1 and #2 are the worst.

In Him,
Dhriti

Need of a strict disciplinary code

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "Still, a controller is necessary in the physical sphere, highly necessary, because in this physical sphere, those of animal nature seize the morsels of food from others’ mouths like mad dogs. In this material sphere, living beings in human form, driven by dogmas, dash the only children of widows to the ground. In this material sphere, demons greedy for wealth starve the simple, innocent and disunited people to death, bit by bit. In this material sphere, the mighty rip out the tongues of the weak and silence their voices forever; they deprive them of the opportunity to express their inner urges. Thus there is a great necessity of a strict disciplinary code for this physical world. It is not necessary for this code of discipline to be always in the form of a book. Rather, a benevolent person of spirited intellect can work more effectively than a book in this regard." (1)

How some religions openly torture animals

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "Senseless, sadistic killing is called pishunatá vrtti. If meat-eaters slaughter animals in the way that inflicts the least pain, that is not pishunatá; but if they kill them slowly and cruelly, first chopping off their legs, then their tails, then their heads, it is definitely pishunatá. These days in many civilized countries people are unable to give up meat-eating, but have at least devised modern methods to kill the animals less painfully. But remember, the killing of animals, no matter how it is done, is contrary to the spirit of Neohumanism."
"Once I saw a harrowing sight in a market place: part of a live tortoise had just been chopped off and sold, but the poor creature was not completely dead and was trying to crawl away, leaving a stream of blood. Such cruel things should be abolished altogether. The cruel slaughter of that innocent tortoise is certainly a case of pishunatá."
"To kill human beings is totally undesirable, but if people do want to eliminate their [a'tata'yii], they should do so with a minimum of torture. The kings of old used to kill criminals by impaling them on spikes; or by half-burying them in the ground, sprinkling salt over them, and letting the dogs eat them. Sometimes people were flayed alive. These actions certainly deserve universal condemnation." (1)

A'tata'yii: A person armed with weapons who comes to your home to kill you.

Note: In many parts of India, animal torture occurs in the wide open. If you walk around the main vegetable market then in one corner there are non-veg items. Live animals are tortured before your very eyes. It occurs along the roadside as well. One particular religion is most notorious in this regard. They always do this on the roadside. I saw that if customers want to purchase a live chicken then the merchant will snatch up a chicken, yank the wings off and throw in the garbage, callously remove the feathers and snap the chicken’s neck right in front of you . And then they put it in the bag for the customer to take away. It all happens in the open. For meat-eaters this may be normal but for non meat-eaters it is repulsive how they are forced to see this going on. It is so disgraceful how people tolerate this in the name of religion.
