Baba
Tiljala P: fictitious name
Namaskar,
Take a look at what happened here. There was no such person as Montague Chelmsford as Tiljala Publications proclaims. Please pay special attention to the yellow highlight.

Tiljala’s assertion: one person
Tiljala Publications wrongly wrote:
Montague Chelmsford saw that the forces were divided and was not sure whom to give power to. In 1935, provincial autonomy was granted. Ceylon and Burma, which were parts of India, are now inimical to India. During partition – during Montague Chelmsford's time or during 1935 – the Government of India granted autonomy.” (1)
By Tiljala’s above assertion, one would be led to believe that Montague Chelmsford was an individual who had an influential role during the time of the partition of India. However, that is incorrect.

The historical fact: two people
By the below historical review, it is evident that there was no such person as Montague Chelmsford as Tiljala Publications proclaims. Rather, the Montagu–Chelmsford Reforms was named after the work of two people: (a) Edwin Montagu and (b) Lord Chelmsford. Kindly read the below excerpt from Wikipedia:
The Montagu–Chelmsford Reforms or more briefly known as the Mont–Ford Reforms, were introduced by the colonial government to introduce self-governing institutions gradually in British India. The reforms take their name from Edwin Montagu, the Secretary of State for India from 1917 to 1922, and Lord Chelmsford, the Viceroy of India between 1916 and 1921. (Courtesy of Wikipedia)
By the above historical review, it is evident that the Montagu–Chelmsford Reforms was named after the work of two people: (a) Edwin Montagu and (b) Lord Chelmsford.

Quick review
1. Tiljala totally misrepresented Baba’s teachings by proclaiming Montague Chelmsford to be a single individual.
2. The historical fact is that (a) Edwin Montagu and (b) Lord Chelmsford were two distinct individuals.
3. Remember this is not some arcane time period or some obscure event. The end of the British Empire, the division of India, and Indian independence have been studied by Indo-European scholars the world over. Courses on this topic have been taught to university students throughout the eastern and the western hemispheres. The names (a) Edwin Montagu and (b) Lord Chelmsford are well-known and to present them as being a single individual is not correct.
