Proper order to learn AM teachings + 3 more

Baba

Proper order to learn AM teachings

Namaskar,

Baba's key teaching from the Acarya Diary is to first study and understand Ananda Marga ideology. Then, once one has full command of the vast teachings of Ananda Marga ideology, then if one chooses they may read other philosophies. Generally, though, we find that people do the opposite. First they read other books: other religious texts, other philosophical treatises, dogmatic teachings, or books by dadas and margiis that often contain gross errors etc. This is the wrong way to educate oneself.

For instance, if you want to learn to play the shofar (musical instrument) then you will consult with a master shofar player, not xyz on the street. Likewise, if you want your child to become educated you will not send him out on the street, but rather enroll him in a very good institution. If the child learns out on the street he will only learn abusive words and slang.
http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

The central idea is that one should not try to start learning Ananda Marga teachings from sources other than Sadguru Baba's direct teachings. First one should learn Ananda Marga philosophy. That is Baba’s guideline from the Acarya Diary. The underlying reason is that if one first learns something from a secondary source - such as from a dada's book, Ananda Marga magazines, dadas’ lectures etc, then most of the time that is a negative or wrong teaching. In that case, in order to get the right teaching one has to first undo the negative, dogmatic guideline. It is an arduous and laborious task.

Invariably be misguided

Consider this analogy. Two students sought out the guidance of the same music teacher. Student A had no prior knowledge and he was told that the price would be $10 per hour. Student B had already studied music and the teacher told him the cost would be $20 per hour. Hearing this, student B inquired why he had to pay double the amount. The teacher replied, "Because first I must undo all the wrong things and then teach you the right way. It will be double the work for me."

When Wts and margiis try to learn about Ananda Marga philosophy from some other source then they will invariably be misguided and all those dogmas will have to be removed. Best is to first study the books of Ananda Marga. We must bear in mind Baba's teaching from Acarya Diary: Before studying any theory or philosophy, first learn all the tenets of Ananda Marga ideology by reading Ananda Marga books. That way we will know His divine guidelines and we will not be swayed by the dogma of other so-called teachings.

Listening to Baba's books

At present it is the need of the day to impart Baba's key ideological guidelines to humanity on all kinds of issues from human health and spirituality to economics and water conservation. By studying Ananda Marga books we will all develop a clear-cut understanding of His teachings on these burning issues and many other points as well.

Human beings are known as manusa - psychic beings. We eat physical food just a few times a day, whereas we need psychic food all the 24hrs. By feeding our minds with Baba's discourses, the psychic flow of one’s entire existence will be greatly enhanced and one will be better able to serve humanity. Remember, one will only be able to do viprocita seva by teaching and modeling His words and ideas to the general populace.

This psychic nourishment enables us to grow not just today but tomorrow also. What we think now affects our future. By saturating the mind with His sweet ideas over the course of the day through the studying of His books, one’s whole existence will drift in His spiritual vibration - in His flow. His words will be in our every thought and that will invariably accelerate one’s movement on the path.
http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Again, when Wts and margiis try to learn Ananda Marga philosophy from some other source they will invariably be misguided and all those dogmas will have to be removed. Best is to first study the books of Ananda Marga ideology. We must bear in mind Baba's teaching from Acarya Diary. Before studying any theory or philosophy, first learn all the tenets of Ananda Marga ideology by reading Baba’s books.

Conclusion

The overall message in this email is three-pronged.

(A) First read and study Ananda Marga ideology and gain a clear understanding of the full gamut of His teachings.

(B) In this advanced technological era, there are lots of ways to gain access to and study His teachings. One may download sound files onto a portable device and listen to His books while engaging in mundane, routine duties. This can make one’s use of time much more efficient. More about this is below.
http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

(C) Once one has completed studying Ananda Marga ideology and gained a clear understanding of Baba’s teachings, then one may read other philosophical books, as well as articles in Ananda Marga magazines and Dadas’ books, which are often full of gross errors and mistakes. Fortified with a clear understanding of Baba’s true teachings one will be able to find the faults in those Dadas’ books, and will not be misled by them.

Namaskar,
in Him,
Ananda

It is a busy life and not everyone has time to sit down and read Baba’s books all day. However as Ananda Margiis we have to be cent-per-cent familiar with His teachings. One very good way to manage the time is to have your phone, computer, or digital player read Baba’s books aloud to you. That way when traveling on a bus, doing food prep, or cleaning the house or jagrti etc, you can listen to Guru’s teachings. If you need more information about how to do this then please write us.

Whoever is born will one day die

Baba has graciously given us the rarity of human life. Furthermore, by ensconcing ourselves in His thought and psychically involving in the dharma of Ananda Marga, we will certainly reach that cherished goal. This blessed recipe Baba has given to every Ananda Margii. May we all recognise His special gift and make our lives successful.

Ananda Marga ideology states, "The books in Ananda Marga philosophy are all absolute knowledge. The proper mark of identity of absolute knowledge is that it must be universal, rational and psychological. Certain instances of absolute knowledge are as follows – the goal of human life is the attainment of Brahma; human beings are the progeny of Parama Puruśa; this universe is created by the macrocosmic conation; matter is the crudified form of the universal mind; by dint of sádhaná or spiritual practices human beings gradually become divine; whoever is born will have to die one day; liberation is the birth right of all living beings; human society is one and indivisible; diversity is the law of nature; no two entities in this universe are uniform." (1)

Ananda Marga ideology states, "Even after getting human life, only a few get the opportunity to listen to dharmika discourses. Among those, only a few develop the desire to practise dharma sa'dhana'. And even among these, only a few actually grasp the spirit of sa'dhana'. Those rare ones who understand, perform sa'dhana', and reach the goal are truly blessed." (2)

Flashes of smiling brilliance

"Ábár kii? re álo elo, dhulor e dhará te..." (Prabhat Samgiita #0615)

Purport:

O' human being, look what a liila? See the great refulgence. Behold! Parama Purusa has come again onto this dusty earth. The flood of the Divine Entity has appeared. Open your eyes. Look, gaze, with heartfelt longing, the Lord of Radiance, the Supreme Entity has manifested. The One you have been waiting for since ages has taken advent.

The trees and creepers throughout this wilderness are filled with colours. Now everywhere - on land, in water, and in the sky - in this heavenly intoxicating night the dance of panorama has created a divine vibration. He has ascended on this mortal earth again.

Because of His supreme presence, everything has changed. The minds and hearts, which were crying in sorrow and pain, are now dancing in joy with rhythm and melody. The sweet breeze is blowing full of fragrance. With flashes of smiling brilliance, the fountain is dancing. He is in this world to remove all suffering and establish dharma. On this dusty earth, Parama Purusa Baba is here....

Why sadhakas suffer more

Ananda Marga ideology states, “Reactions in requital to past actions normally occur more in a spiritual aspirant’s life than in an ordinary person’s life. The reason is that when all original actions are surrendered to Brahma, there remain only the reactive actions. The reactions may be good or bad [according to whether they are resultants of good or bad original actions]. But think about how many of the deeds you performed before coming to the path of sádhaná were good and how many were bad. To tell the unpleasant truth, ninety-nine percent of your deeds were bad. Hence it is often the case that sádhakas have to suffer much more from bad reactive momenta than get to enjoy good ones. It can even be said that the more one suffers from reactions, the more one is progressing along the path of sádhaná.”
“Of course, the requital of the reactive momenta may possibly be pleasurable instead of painful; it all depends upon the nature of one’s actions. In either case, the more one surrenders one’s actions to Brahma, the shorter will be the period of requital caused by the reactions. In this case the intensity of the requital will be greater than normal; but this is a good sign, because intense requital means the exhaustion of the requital within a short period.” (1)

Enemies of humanity, not rśis

Every margii chants the bath mantra on a daily basis after bathing. One of the terms in that mantra is r'si. Following is the definition:

Ananda Marga ideology says, "A rśi is one who cultivates wisdom, who enriches the intellectual field through deep research and innovative discoveries and harvests the fruits of wisdom. Those who invent deadly weapons such as the hydrogen bomb, which caused the frightening holocaust, do not help the human intellect attain the height of human perfection, but rather direct their intellect towards crudeness. These types of inventors and their patrons do not deserve to be called rśis, rather, they are worse than demons, far worse than internal creatures, having forfeited their right to human identity." Should Proutists be worried

Seeing the slow progress of Prout pracara, some Proutists get depressed thinking that, “We lost yet another election and that nobody is listening to us.” Everywhere capitalism / capitalist exploiters are thriving and sucking the blood. WIth this mindset they become defunct and do not want to do anything. Whatever questions they have about when Prout will be established, Baba has given in the following quote. This society moves on. Now vaeshyas / capitalists are exploiting. In a short period those capitalists will be fully destroyed. That is the natural law. If one does anything or not, by nature of their very deeds, those capitalists will be destroyed. At the same time, one can expedite and hasten this process but even if you do nothing this social cycle will move forward. Nobody can stop it.

The rapacious capitalists are increasing the degree of their exploitation day by day. When the general society has no scope to even breathe, the common people will leap on those wealthy exploiters and destroy everything. In this way the social cycle will rotate one step ahead. This is the inexorable law of nature. So Proutists need not think twice about whether revolution will come or not. Just go on doing your duty and in the opportune moment the change will come like a wildfire.

Remember, regardless how hard you try to start a fire in the rainy season you cannot do it. But in summer, when the conditions are ripe, then without any efforts a fire will break out. In that same way the social cycle will move. With our efforts we can bring that change a little bit sooner.

Prout philosophy states, "The rule of the social cycle is that the Shúdra Age is followed by the Kśatriya Age, the Kśatriya Age is followed by the Vipra Age...This kind of social rotation is the inexorable law of nature." (1)

Prout philosophy states, "Nobody can stop the rotation of the social cycle, not even the sadvipras. They stay in the nucleus of the social cycle, wakefully and vigilantly observing the process of rotation. One after another, one age follows the next: Vipra after Kśatriya." (2)

Baba

Baba did not review pre-1990 books

Namaskar,

Sadly, many margiis were led to believe that AMPS books were all reviewed by Baba, and are therefore perfect. But that is 100% wrong. Due to intense time constraints, as soon as AMPS purchased an audio recorder, Baba no longer reviewed discourses and books. Practically speaking, He did not review any of those discourses that had an audio recording. And here is the proof.
http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

TP listed 2000 (approx) mistakes in AM books

Please click on the link below which displays a lengthy registry of mistakes in AMPS books. There are around 2000 errors listed on this errata page, and that list was compiled by none other than AMPS Tiljala Publications (TP), sometime after 2010.

It is thus plainly obvious that these books were not reviewed by Sadguru Baba as these books have thousands of mistakes.

Conclusion: Pure books

To solve this issue permanently, Pure books have been made, which are direct transcriptions of Baba’s audio file. Now it is the moral duty of all margiis and Wts to help propagate and distribute those Pure discourses throughout the society.

State of death

Ananda Marga ideology states, "When the physical body no longer remains, that is, when one passes into a bodiless state of existence, then the mind remains just as a seed, modified into the form of saḿskáras. There being no brain or nerve cell attached to it, it cannot perform any function. It commits no sin, nor can it acquire any virtue. It is completely good for nothing, a worthless entity. The cultivation of rationality is as much beyond its capacity as is mental work. Its existence thus is meaningless. Its only destiny is to carry the burden of saḿskáras over and over again. There is nothing else for it to do; it is a completely helpless being. It is only when it is privileged to have a physical structure that it is in a position to cultivate dharma; that is not possible under any other condition whatsoever. Even the feeling that “I cannot do dharma sádhaná” is absent there. Because mental functions are not possible without nerve cells. When there is a physical body, there is scope for the mind to think of higher things, and dharma sádhaná is possible for human beings." (1)

Sadhaka life & beauty + 5 more

Baba
Sadhaka life & beauty
Namaskar,

It is the norm nowadays for people to run after "beauty" in the mundane world. So we should investigate what that worldly beauty really is, why one feels attracted to something, as well as how far those finite objects are really able to quench and satisfy one's inner desire. Infinite beauty is one of the inherent qualities, as well as one of the countless attributions, of Parama Purusa. And by His grace bhaktas realise this in their lives.
http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Beauty is subjective

As we have all remarked, in this day to day world, people find beauty in so many things. A mother finds beauty in her children; climbers find beauty in the mountain; a shopper finds beauty in a hat or a dress; and, on and on it goes. So many people find beauty in so many things.

Ananda Marga ideology says, "Human beings look at the world, with its profusion of changing forms, and become fascinated by them." (1)

However, it is also certainly true that what is beautiful to one person may not be perceived as being beautiful to the next. So that is the unending specialty of worldly beauty: It varies from person to person. Some are fully enamoured with certain things and find them to be completely beautiful; whereas, others may find those very same objects to be ordinary, distasteful, or even repulsive. This is the way of the world.

Thus what is beautiful - and what is ugly - varies dramatically from one person to the next. Certainly we have all witnessed this in our lives. One person finds a particular painting worthy of being placed in the most honoured art museum, and another person finds that same painting to be incomplete or poorly done. With each and every worldly expression, the degree of its beauty or lack thereof, depends solely on the beholder.
http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

No worldly object gives unending fulfillment

One thing is certain: when anyone does find something beautiful in this world then they want to remain close to it.

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "Suppose you see something and take a fancy to it. 'Ah, how fine it is!' you will exclaim in joy. Suppose you listen to a nice piece of music and deeply enjoy it. Your friend may be sitting nearby, but you will surely say, 'Wait a bit, please. Let me listen to the music a little longer'." (2)

According to the above teaching, people want to remain near any object they find beautiful because it gives them a sense of satiation and fulfillment. And not only do they want to remain close, invariably people try to get more and more intimate with whatever they feel to be beautiful. Because by getting closer and closer they want to increase the amount of inner satiation which they derive from that object. And since human longing is infinite, human beings wish to derive maximum fulfillment from worldly things up to eternity. This is their dream.
http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Whether it be a person, a motor vehicle, a sculpture, a house by the lake, or whatever, the beholder wants to attain infinite happiness from that object which they perceive to be beautiful. So initially when people find something to be beautiful in this mundane world then they rush up towards that thing and desire to remain in its contact - and get closer and closer to that - thinking that it will give them unending fulfillment. But actually in this mundane world, no object has that capacity to continue to attract someone and fulfill their desire up to eternity. No mundane expression has that charm; no mundane expression has that beauty.

Intimacy with Parama Purusa

Everyone wants infinite beauty and until they come in contact with Parama Purusa then they go on running after transient objects. In that sense, they are no different from young babies or toddlers that are constantly putting dirt, coins, sticks, plastic and other things in their mouth hoping that it will taste good and satiate their hunger. In their quest for food, they try one after another inert objects, whatever they can get their hands on.

Common people function in the same way, sampling so many mundane objects and interests hoping that that will satiate them - but alas they remain unfulfilled. Just like the baby who is reaching for stones, dirty wrappers, and paper etc and placing those objects in their mouth in hopes of having their hunger satisfied. Ultimately though, for the sadhaka, one day by His grace they come in contact with His Divine touch, and the spiritual journey begins. They begin the mystical quest to gain intimacy and oneness with Parama Purusa.
http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

And this is what should be sought after in life - His Supreme Beauty. As long as this stage does not come, they go on running after one thing of beauty yet then again those beautiful things become ugly to them, and then they chase after another beauty. This type of never-ending search and feeling of frustration happens until the sadhaka starts his march towards Parama Purusa. Because in the relative sphere that which is most beautiful today becomes ugly tomorrow, and this journey goes on and on until one comes in contact with Parama Purusa the Most Beautiful One.

So while people tire of mundane objects, the opposite is the case with Parama Purusa. At first, from a distance one may not feel that He is so beautiful. Due to the pull of avidya maya, one may actually get attracted elsewhere. So until one is graced to find beauty in Parama Purusa, then in their desperate state they will frantically run from one mundane so-called beautiful thing to the next. Because everyone is moving around trying to find that most beautiful expression that can fulfill the yearning in their heart.

Conclusion

By the resplendent grace of Sadguru and with their good samskara, sadhakas feel some initial attraction for Parama Purusa. His vibration satisfies a yearning in their heart and they feel a sense of calm, by His grace. Naturally then, by feeling His sweet vibration, the sadhaka desires to go more close. And because Parama Purusa is that infinite One, He can continually emanate and exude a sweeter and sweeter vibration that satisfies and satiates the infinite longing of the human heart. So the closer one gets to Him the more calm and peaceful they feel. The mind becomes filled with bliss. And in that supremely tranquil state, they feel that indeed Parama Purusa is the most beautiful One. Those with less bhakti may not understand this. Verily it is those blessed, top-grade bhaktas who feel that Parama Purusa is most beautiful.
http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Namaskar,
in Him,
Cirasakha'

~ In-depth study ~

Why only Parama Purusa is ever beautiful

The closer one gets to Him the more satiation they feel, and the more beautiful He becomes. And ultimately, attracted by that ever increasing beauty, one moves closer and closer towards Parama Purusa - until finally one day one merges in Him.

That is why only Parama Purusa is Sundar - only He is the most Beautiful One. Only He can give that complete satiation to the infinite longing of the human heart. By getting Him one feels so much fulfillment, that is why only Parama Purusa is Sundar. And ultimately, by His grace, we reach that permanent state of fulfillment - drifting endlessly in His bliss.
http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

As sadhakas, our duty is to run after this real beauty - His eternally beautiful Self, and not any illusory or transient thing which for a fleeting moment in time appears to be beautiful.

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "Salutations to Parama Purusa the Beautiful...whose lotus feet were worshipped by the gods, and whose body was adorned with precious gems. Salutations to Parama Purusa the Beautiful, who was the most reliable helmsman on the ocean of this universe, who removed the fear of annihilation, who granted salvation to aspiring souls." (3)

In this vast universe, only Parama Purusa is that most Beautiful Entity. By His grace may we all fully realise this divine truth.

Prout: leaders must be God-centered

Ananda Marga ideology states, “This lacuna in the physical sphere, and the consequent disparity, is the noumenal cause of all phenomenal troubles. Due to this noumenal cause, peace in the psychic sphere is being disturbed again and again.”
“With this end in view, with the sole purpose of removing physical misery and affliction, and keeping in view the higher goals of human life, the Prout philosophy has been formulated. There was no alternative but to propagate the Prout philosophy. Had it not been done, maybe human sorrows and sufferings would have been perpetrated for centuries together. Mean opportunists would have continued their exploitation, taking advantage of the simplicity or intellectual deficiency of the innocent and credulous masses. This exploitation has been perpetrated mainly in three ways: oppression, suppression and exploitation.” (1)

Note: As explained above, Prout philosophy has been formulated by Baba for two fundamental reasons:
(a) To keep the mind fixed towards the Goal - Parama Purusa.
(b) To solve all the problems in human society.
The overall idea being that any theory that does not have a spiritual Goal and only focuses on solving society's problems will not only render itself useless but will prove to be disastrous also. History has shown this. Here following is further explanation.

In the first paragraph of Baba's above cited message, He is giving His special guideline that Prout is spiritually-based, and that it "keeps the Goal firmly in front of one's eyes." And by this divine ideal, Baba has given Prout to alleviate the problems in all the sphere's of life.

And in the second paragraph of the above quotation, Baba is telling us that materialistic approaches like communism utterly fail to properly guide the society. Communism attempted to cure the social ills by redistributing the wealth etc. But without a proper goal, communism only wreaked havoc on the people and created more problems and worse destruction. So any socio-economic theory must be spiritually based-- this is Baba's teaching in Prout. Baba describes this in various discourses including “The Future of Civilization.”

Unfortunately these days, in a few materialistic countries some are claiming that certain non-margiis are top-grade Proutists. Such persons wrongly think that spirituality is not needed for being a Proutist. Their understanding is comparable to one blind person's evaluation of an elephant. Blind people conclude that an elephant is like a rope or a pillar, depending upon what part of the elephant that they touch. So their limited understanding is devoid of any greater meaning. Similar is the understanding of those who think that Prout can be led by non-margiis. Their level of understanding is no better than that of one small kid.

Teaching kids to lie: Santa Claus & monkey god

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “When the parents are about to go on a trip or go to a show, or when they are invited to a pleasant function or a social outing, the children may start whining or nattering to accompany them. At such times many parents tell lies without a qualm; somehow they dupe their children and leave. When the children realize what has happened, they also learn to tell lies; and to hide their intentions or their actions from their parents, they gradually start lying more and more.”
“Parents deceive their children in many ways. By calling sweet things bitter and pleasant things unpleasant, they prevent their children from enjoying them. But by disregarding parental injunctions and prying inquisitively, as is the wont of human nature, children discover the truth. Then they realize that their parents have been deceiving them. As a result they start deceiving not only their parents, but their friends and classmates as well. So it is abundantly clear that children are taught the first lessons in the arts of lying and deception by their own parents at home.” (1)

Note: Baba’s above teaching shows how lying and cheating first starts in the home - i.e. kids learn from their parents. This gets exhibited in so many ways - amongst all populations. This occurs even during the holidays and times of celebration. For instance, those from a Christian background teach their children to believe in Santa Claus - an imaginary man with a big belly and a long white beard who comes down the chimney and brings gifts to children. And when Santa Claus is not delivering gifts around the planet then he resides at the North Pole. Another example of an imaginary holiday creature is the Easter Bunny. These are both fake and fabricated entities. But for the first years of their lives, kids are naively and innocently led to believe that Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny are real. This is taught to them first and foremost by their parents. And the children believe it wholeheartedly. These are some of their most graphic childhood memories - and yet it is all based on falsehood. Inevitably, by the age of 7, 8, 9, or 10 etc, those kids realise that Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny are real and that they have been lied to - i.e. duped. And it is at that moment they learn how to deceive and befool others in the same manner.

Similarly Hindus befool kids by telling them tales, lies, and stories that the mythological monkey God is real. And they show them the idol to show the monkey god exists. In turn children really believe the monkey god flew from point A to point B carrying a mountain. Even after growing up, many carry this dogma their whole life.

Conclusion

(a) Before telling any story, parents should be careful not to tell anything which is false.
(b) If a child is asking a question and you do not know the answer, then do not tell them a lie. Best is to say, "I do not know. I will try and find the answer for you."
(c) The worst thing is to tell them something false. And the absolute worst is to terrorise them by saying, "Do not ask anymore questions." Small kids especially ask a lot of questions to all those who are around. That time is crucial not to shut them up. Those who shut up children stymie and stun their psychic progress.
(d) Remember inquisitiveness is the greatest thing in human life as it leads to all sorts of progress. So do not crush their inquisitiveness.

With or Without Úṋcii

Meaning of bhukti if it is spelled wrong = “enjoying and gorging on food”
Meaning of bhúkti if it is spelled right = “area, territory, district”

Bábá’s Guideline - Correct Spelling of Bhúkti

First let us see what the correct way of writing Bhúkti is. In His description of the term Bhúkti provided during a field walk in Pune, in the year 1979, Bábá very clearly provides the etymology. See the following excerpt (and yellow highlighted portion for the etymology) from the As-Is transcription of the audio recording of the discourse.

Excerpt of Bábá’s Audio File Transcription

Fieldwalk Pune - 2

26 November 1979 Pune

[बाबा बोले--] हरित से हरा | हरित धान्य the land of green vegetable, vegetation | हरित धान्य माने "vegetation, not paddy" | Paddy का संस्कृत व्रीहि | तो, land of green vegetation | चारों तरफ़ हरा भरा देख रहे हैं | Central Asia के आदमी आए | Dry area के...

[Excerpt of Bábá’s Audio File Transcription Ends Here]

Explanation in English:
Bábá’s teaching on the spelling of “bhúkti”

For those who cannot read Devanágari script, the translation of Bábá’s explanation of the spelling of the word bhúkti is as follows:

Bábá says: "In the spelling of bhúkti, following “bh” is a big “ú”, long “ú”."

As per Bábá’s explanation:
Wrong spelling of the term bhukti = bhukti
Right spelling of the term bhúkti = bhúkti

Meaning of bhukti if it is spelled wrong = “enjoying and gorging on food”
Meaning of bhúkti if it is spelled right = “area, territory, district”

Bábá goes on to explain the technical etymology of this word bhúkti, as further proof of why there needs to be placed an úṋcii on the “u” so as to make it long. Bábá says:

“Bhúiṋc” dhátu ktin, pr minus dhá plus anat = Bhúkti Pradhána

Bábá is explaining that the root verb itself from which the word bhúkti is made, has a long “ú” in it. And so the word bhúkti -- in order to carry the sense “area, territory, district” -- must also have a long  “ú”.

The essence of Bábá’s explanation is “In the spelling of bhúkti, following “bh” is a big “ú”, long “ú”.

Original Ananda Vanii states: “The Supreme Spirit within humanity, neglected for ages, has awakened today. This awakening will initiate a new chapter in human history. You will all be the pioneers of the new trend.” (Ananda Vanii #1)

Note: Sadguru Baba has assigned a number to all His original and true Ananda Vaniis. In contrast, Fake Ananda Vaniis do not have any number. By this simple formula, one can easily recognise which is a true Ananda Vanii and which is fake. For the upcoming occasion of January 1st 2017, all Ananda Marga units should use one of Baba’s original and true Ananda Vaniis, not a fake one. By this way, one will surely get His blessing.
