Prout’s view on legalized cannabis + 4 more

Prout’s view on legalized cannabis

Namaskar,

Marijuana has been getting legalised across the USA. In a growing number of states (40 + Wash DC, & 3 US territories), medical marijuana is legal; and, recreational marijuana is legal in 24 states. And, in many of those areas, bars and cafes are opening where patients can enter, purchase marijuana, hashish, and related edibles, and smoke intoxicants. Medical doctors are prescribing and certifying their patients marijuana for pain relief and mental anxiety etc. This is a growing phenomenon.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

One point to be aware of is that often when a trend starts in the materialistic nations of the west, then that trend spreads around the globe. As Proutists, our dharmic stand is contrary to this trend as Sadguru Baba is against the use of such intoxicants. (1)

Baba's personal account

Before looking deeper into the medical marijuana phenomenon going on in the USA, here is Baba's below first-hand account. Baba talks how as a young boy He opposed those so-called sadhus who smoked marijuana.

Sadguru Baba recounts, "This story took place very long ago. I was extremely young then, about four or five years old. I had a Shiva linga...In those days ordinary people had a rather excessive amount of devotion towards sannya'siis and holy men. A group of sannya'siis would light a fire and sit around it in one of the neighbourhood’s slightly elevated vacant areas. Countless devotees would encircle them singing devotional songs and kiirtana. I used to see this scene all the time. Stories of Lord Shiva’s white radiance, his magnanimity and detachment had attracted my mind a good deal. But I did not at all like these sannya'siis’ greed for all kinds of delicacies, nor their marijuana pipes and tweezers. And so I would harass them...their sumptuous food and fleeing." (2)

Baba's dharmic stance against marijuana took expression very early in life.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Long history of marijuana in India

Actually there is a long history of marijuana use in India. But mostly it was rejected by the people as being harmful to both mind and body. Only certain dogmatic sadhus with ashen bodies would resort to marijuana smoking. Their selfish justification was that they were following the cult of Shiva; but that is wrong, as the below teaching explains.

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "The developed sa'dhaka [spiritual aspirant] remains submerged in this beatific condition of intoxication. It is said that Shiva remains overwhelmed under the spell of this very type of intoxication, with His eyes fixed upwards. This is not the intoxication produced by bhang [Indian hemp] or ganja [marijuana], or that of opium, nor that of wine, but is a sort of beatific intoxication brought about by sudha'rasa." (3)

As Baba points out, it is known in India that the marijuana drug does not lead to an enlightened mind. Every true sadhaka and everyday citizens understand this, either practically or theoretically. But that does not mean that the latest medical marijuana trend in the US will not soon hit the streets in Mumbai and elsewhere. After all, India rejected materialism centuries ago yet now the youth of India are plunged in all kinds of pseudo-culture fashion and materialistic lifestyles - religiously copying the trends in the west. So it may not be long before patients and innocent citizens in India and other countries are also smoking marijuana. Here it should also be noted that “recreational” usage of marijuana is also legal in an increasing number of states in the US. And this has led to the rise of more potent and dangerous strains of marijuana.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

State support of medical marijuana

A former US Surgeon General has issued the following statement:

"The evidence is overwhelming that marijuana can relieve certain types of pain, nausea, vomiting and other symptoms caused by such illnesses as multiple sclerosis, cancer and AIDS -- or by the harsh drugs sometimes used to treat them. And it can do so with remarkable safety. Indeed, marijuana is less toxic than many of the drugs that physicians prescribe every day."

And indeed there are many medical professionals in the west who advocate the use of marijuana for a wide-range of patients. And now there are at least 40 states in the US where patients can legally purchase and smoke marijuana and hashish in cafes. Hundreds of thousands of patients in Canada smoke marijuana and millions of patients in the US the number are using marijuana. This trend is spreading fast.

Doctors: influence of special interest groups

This all begs the question: Should doctors and the US medical industry be trusted. There are many strong lobby groups in the US that have direct influence on medical policies in the US. From dietary recommendations to prescription drug use, billions and billions of dollars are laid down by special interest groups to get their agenda approved by doctors.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

The tobacco industry got away with this for years, and in the last few decades it is the prescription drug industry that has most doctors in their pockets. Today, the marijuana lobby has made its way into the wallets of physicians and the medical establishment. So we have to think a thousand times - and educate the common people about this: How far should doctors be trusted.

Time and again, physicians make recommendations that are basically ludicrous: In the 50's and 60's they were advocating that pregnant women smoke cigarettes in order to relax. And more recently medical professionals have advocated the regular consumption of red wine (alcohol) and chocolate for overall health and happiness. There is no shortage of ridiculous recommendations by the US medical establishment. And now we see that the use of marijuana for patients is just one more scar on this growing list.

Prout's stand: no use of intoxicants

As Ananda Margiis and Proutists, we should be clear about our stand on this issue and state our position. Tragically, the common public and patients all over have been duped into thinking that marijuana is some kind of magic herb for healing etc. Not only do they think it will help with pain relief etc, but some have even begun advocating that marijuana will enhance one's memory. When in fact, marijuana is quite harmful in many respects - ruining both one's physical and mental constitution. We should strictly pay heed to Baba's below mandates about marijuana.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "It is desirable that people keep themselves free from intoxicants and stimulants and move steadily towards the higher realms of physical, mental and spiritual development through all possible ways." (4)

Ananda Marga philosophy guides us, 'Taking hashish, marijuana, opium or wine causes a peculiar change in the mind." (5)

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "Intoxicated by opium, people sit idle and doze off. Hemp [marijuana] destroys general intelligence and the faculty of understanding. None of these intoxicants are good for human beings." (6)

It is our moral duty to oppose this latest trend of marijuana cages advocated by medical professionals and the hemp lobby etc. Because sadly, this drug will only lead people into a more dismal state, physically and mentally. And what they are prescribing for patients today they will be recommending to general citizens tomorrow, as evidenced by the growing number of states legalising marijuana for “everyday or recreational” use. That is the unfortunate direction things are headed. It needs a strong push to buck this trend.

Conclusion

Baba has given us the duty to clean up society in all respects. This recent marijuana campaign is the latest issue that we must take to the fore. With proper education, we can prevent it from spreading and set humanity on the proper path.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Ananda Marga ideology says, "For progress in entitative flow, one is to lead a pure life, a moralistic life, a life based on moral principles. Do not do anything bad. What is bad? Bad is that which depraves human existence. Follow a strict code of morality. Live a pure life, a neat and clean life. Be strict in 16 Points. What will happen? Your entitative flow will get purified and will be in parallelism with your psychic wave." (7)

In Him,
Phanindra

Note: Cannabis is the real name or scientific name of the plant that produces marijuana.

Irony of human quest for peace & satisfaction

Humans have long been on a quest for peace and comfort - and that has led them in all kinds of directions. Now see the irony of this most trend. On the one side, wealthy people in the west, who have all kinds of luxuries, resort to drugs like marijuana in hopes of finding peace and tranquility, and all around the globe those in the so-called developing world are running after money and mundane wealth thinking that those riches will supply them all the happiness and comfort they need. So those with money are not happy and seeking joy elsewhere, and the rest of the world is thinking that, “I need to be like those wealthy people in order to become happy.” Such is the irony unfolding. The marijuana trend just throws one more smoke-screen into the minds of the people.

Why did You bless me

“Esecho, esecho, tumi esecho, kiseri t́áne,
dharár dhúlir pare nije nevecho, bhúle jata abhimáne…” (Prabhat Samgiita #2985)

Purport:

My Parama Purusa, You have come. Whose pull led to Your arrival on this earth. Which bhakta created the attraction; what was the motivating factor. You have taken advent on the dust of this very earth, ignoring all protocol and formalities. The longing of which sadhaka has brought You here.

Baba, there were countless grand temples constructed with exquisite marble, precious stones, and pure gold. And there was pristine water from those enchanting lakes at those pilgrimage sites. But those so-called holy lands did not have any appeal, and You did not go there - not even a single step in that direction. Nor did You accept any of their ritualistic, showy offerings. Why did You bless me by coming in my barren mind that is utterly devoid of bhakti?

With the flame of the fire, which You ignite the comet, out of fear of that great fire, Ra’hu (umbra) and Ketu (penumbra) revolves. Everything is situated within Your Magnificent Tranquil Self, and everyone is attracted towards You. The various activities in this vast creation are governed by one Supreme source of Yours. Everything comes from You and is part of You as well. You are the Cosmic Nucleus, i.e. the Divine Charmer who attracts everyone in this vast universe. Knowingly or unknowingly, all jiivas rush towards You. Most want You unknowingly, while those who are blessed want You knowingly. They are called bhaktas....

Spiritual led society

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "The establishment of a classless society is only possible for those who accept Parama Puruśa [Supreme Consciousness] as the goal of their lives, for those whose entire mental power is ceaselessly directed towards one supreme goal. In a society where there is no class struggle, the remaining classes will have to disappear and all people will have to unite under the banner of one common ideology. This can only be done by sadvipras." (1)

Real Guru

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “One who only punishes a person is not a Guru, and one who only loves is also not a Guru. Rather he or she is an enemy, for excessive love and affection spoils a person. Only one who does both these things is a real Guru. That is why people should be trained with both love and punishment. Where love fails, punishment helps. Medicine is not necessarily always sweet; sometimes bitter medicines are necessary as well. Patients often refuse to swallow bitter medicines; they cry in protest. But the ideal physician will force the patient to swallow the medicine. This is the proper way.” (1)

Harms of multi-tasking

The typical person has numerous aims. For example, they want to be the king, president, billionaire, film hero, sports star, musical icon etc. In that sense, the average person is multi-purpose. But at the same time living beings are unilateral. We can only do one work at one time. People talk about multi-tasking, but it is an impossibility for unit beings. The mind cannot do two works at the same time. And if one tries to multi-task, their mind will become bifurcated and ultimately degenerated, and / or they will find themselves in a terrible accident.

Best is to do one task at one time. By cultivating that quality in sadhana humans become one with Parama Purusa. By doing sadhana and with His grace, the aspirant does become one with Parama Purusa. And then, after losing their individuality, they can work multilaterally - i.e. in all directions. Till then, do not try and do many works at one time.

Only one direction, at one time

Ananda Marga ideology states, “Microcosm is multipurposive but its flow is unilateral. On the other hand, Macrocosm is uni-purpose but its flow is multilateral. There is no end to the desires of microcosm. Sometimes it desires fame and sometimes it desires money. But it can make itself travel at one time in one direction only. His mind cannot be simultaneously engaged in a book and in a football game. While reading, if he thinks of the football game his mind is diverted from the book. Similarly, he cannot enjoy the football game if in the football game he begins to think about his books. Hence, the flow of the unit is unilateral. It travels only in one direction, at one time, whereas Macrocosm is uni-purpose but multilateral. There is only one thought of Macrocosm and that is the well-being of all. This is His one sole purpose. Yet Macrocosm is a multi-lateral flow. He does many things simultaneously. He is feeding you, creating the world, making rivers, canals and birds. Everything is being created in His mind. Hence there is much variety in His mind.” (1)

Precarious nature of sentiment

Ananda Marga ideology guides us, "For the very existence of speed, a sentimental support, a sentimental propulsion is an indispensable necessity. Now, this sentimental support must be based on rationality. Sentimentality based on rationality is the strongest force in the universe. And sentimentality without rationality takes the form of, or rather the distortion of, dogma." (1)

In above teaching Baba says that sentiment is a very delicate: If sentiment is guided by rationality then that is very useful and meaningful. And if sentiment is guided by dogma or any narrow interest like groupism etc then it is extremely harmful and dangerous. That is why human sentiment is very precarious. By sadhana and following Sixteen Points, one’s sentimental feeling will become aligned with rationality, i.e. ideology.

One Divine Entity & various names + 3 more

Baba
One Divine Entity & various names

Namaskar,

Sometimes people wonder why some of our Ananda Marga books are authored under the name Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar, whereas other books are signed as Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji. For years, people have been going back and forth about this, even questioning if these are two personalities or one. Some want to know if both of these names refer to the same Divine Entity Baba. Here are some points related with this issue.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar & Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji: one & the same

Look at it this way, Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar and Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji certainly refer to one singular Entity.

For example, in the mundane sphere it is just like the situation of my mother. I call her mother; my sons and daughters call her grandmother or grandma; my cousin calls her aunty; and my father calls her Prama. And furthermore when she was working in the office she had her official designation also. Her colleagues were calling her yet a different name. In this manner, a single personality, my mother, has so many names - according to her relationship with a given person. So those names, i.e. mom, Prama, aunty, and grandma etc, do not refer to different personalities. Rather, she is one personality who has multiple names that apply to her various roles in life.

And verily this is the case with most people. According to particular situations they have a given name, yet all along they are the same person and personality.

Multiple names - one person

The following graphic example is moving in this same direction.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Sadguru Baba says, "I told you that the same man, Ramajiivana, is known as Rama to his father, as Ramu at work - and his children say `Babujii', and his students `Master Sahib'. and when he is moving along the street wearing a topii, the taungavala will say ,`Hey topii! Hey topii! Hey topii! He becomes a topii. But the man is that single man Rama." (1)

So here Baba is confirming the fact that one entity has multiple names. This is the common phenomenon. It is like that with nearly everyone. In different spheres of life, people are referred to in various ways, using different names.

Singular Divine Personality has an infinite number of names

Who does not know that Parama Purus'a has an infinite number of names. He has so many names because He has an infinite number of attributions. Each attribution carries a different name.

Ananda Marga ideology states, "So Paramashiva, the Sadguru and Ta'raka Brahma are beyond the scope of the gun'atrikon'a... O Lord, Thou are the controller of everything, but there is nobody to control You. Your gun'as are beyond the scope of counting. Nobody can count how many gun'as are there." (2)

Here above Baba is calling Lord Shiva three different names: Paramashiva, Sadguru, and Ta'raka Brahma. But He is not referring to three different Entities - rather One.

And about Lord Shiva we know there are so many more names plus others that we do not know. But at least there are two dozen well-known names of Lord Shiva: Pashupati, Nat’araja, Trilocana, Vya'gra'mbara, Painca'nana, Viireshvara, Mahadeva, Vaedyana'tha, Shiva, Maheshvara, Ma'ya'diisha, Niila Kan’t’ha, Ganga'dhara, Gaoriipati, Deveshvara, A'dipita', Mantresha, Maha’koala, Ta'raka Na'tha, Liila'dhara, Shaunkara, Kalabhairava, A’dinatha, A'shutos'a, Vajradhara, Hara, Shambhu, Vibhu'tinatha etc.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Here the point is that the more qualities and attributions one has, the more names one will be called. Because each name describes a different aspect of that same entity. And in the case of Parama Purusa who has an infinite number of attributions, He has an infinite number of names as well. Parama Purusa has countless gun'as (attributions) and hence so many names. All those names refer to Him, that one singular Parama Purusa.

The seer Padmadanta expressed this same idea

The great seer, poet and bhakta Padmadanta expressed this same idea. When bhaktas approached and asked him to write a poem about the Lord, then the seer Padmadanta replied that since the Lord has an infinite number of gunas (attributions), only Parama Purusa knows all His characteristics and qualities.

Parama Purusa Baba has infinite qualities & infinite names

Baba is the Sadguru: He is one singular Divine Entity that has innumerable names: Baba, Parama Purusa, Taraka Brahma, Purusottoma, Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar, Mahasambhuti, Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji, and verily He has an infinite number of names. His countless names describe His infinite qualities. Yet, all those names refer to the same Divine Entity - Parama Purusa Baba.

So the whole idea is that Baba is Parama Purusa. He has an infinite number of names to denote His infinite attributions. These names do not refer to different personalities. Parama Purusa Baba is one Entity with different names.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Conclusion

Ultimately then, the conclusion is easily reached that Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar and Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji are the same. These two names refer to the same Divine Personality.

Namaskar,
in Him,
Arjuna

~ In-depth study ~

Why His books are signed by different names

Some may still wonder why Parama Purusa Baba has used different names for authoring His books.

Here is the reply: Shrii PR Sarkar has been used for most of His books on social philosophy, whereas Shrii Shrii Anandamurti has been used for most of His books on spiritual philosophy. And these two names refer to one Divine Entity.

Interestingly, some discourses like 'The Evolution of Society' appear in both social books like Prout and in spiritual books like Subhasita Samgraha. But who is going to say that two different entities gave that discourse. Absolutely no one. Because Baba is One Personality with multiple names and it is only He who has delivered that discourse.

And here are more of His discourses that were published under both names: 'Ahimsa', 'The Evolution of Society', 'Ananda Marga: A Revolution', 'Are Ghosts Hallucinations?', and so many others. All of these discourses appear in the Prout series or the A Few Problems Solved series which are signed as Shrii PR Sarkar, yet are also published in books like Subhasita Samgraha, A Guide to Human Conduct, and Ananda Marga Philosophy in a Nutshell which are signed by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

But again, the same singular Divine Entity wrote those discourses and His names Shrii PR Sarkar and Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji represent different aspects of His singular magnanimous personality.

"Idea and Ideology" by one Entity not two

Here is another example: All of the below listed discourses from the book "Idea and Ideology" have been published under both names: Shrii Prabhat Ranjain Sarkar and Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji. Because Idea and Ideology is published under the name Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar and those discourses also appear in the series Ananda Marga Philosophy in a Nutshell which is authored by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti. But who can think that these are two different entities? Every rational minded person will easily understand that these discourses were given by one and the same Entity.

Here is a listing of those discourses that are published under both names: Shrii Prabhat Ranjain Sarkar and Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji.

1. Saiṋcara and Práńáh
2. Pratisaiṋcara and Manah
3. Bhútatattva, Tanmátratattva and Indriyatattva
4. Mind, Práńendriya and Vrtti
5. Kośa
6. Átman, Paramátman and Sádhaná
7. Life, Death and Saḿskára
8. The Creation of the Universe
9. Psycho-Spiritual Parallelism
10. The Place of Sadvipras in the Samája Cakra
11. The Cosmic Brotherhood

Naturally, every Ananda Margii clearly knows that all of the above discourses were given by one single Divine Entity.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar is for non-margiis
Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji is for margiis

We know that the name Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar is primarily for non-margiis, and the name Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji is for Ananda Margiis.

Some are confused

Unfortunately, there are a few Wts who always tell their story propagating that Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji and Shrii PR Sarkar are two separate entities.

Mental disease of stealing

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “Another type of crime occurs occasionally. This is a temporary criminal urge, a special type of mental disease which suddenly appears in a certain type of environment and again subsides after a short time. Kleptomania is an example of this kind of mental disease. After committing a crime kleptomaniacs feel ashamed and are anxious to return the property that they have stolen to the owner. They have sudden fantasies about stealing, abducting people, becoming drunk or indulging in decadent activities. But analysis shows that they do not in fact have the slightest personal interest in such things.”

“Usually weak-minded people who have witnessed larceny, murder or any other crime, are deeply affected by their experience, and due to the ensuing extreme agitation that occurs in their minds, they deviate from the path of common sense. If the feeling of mental agitation recurs due to the influence of temporal, spatial or personal factors, they will immediately commit a crime.” (1)

Pseudo-criminal

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “If a person who is not actually a thief constantly thinks about stealing and about the various techniques that can be used to steal, it may happen that he or she will begin to talk in a way that will give people the impression that he or she is really a thief. After witnessing a brutal murder, sometimes such weak-minded people begin to think of themselves as criminals.” (2)

Unique description of Guru puja

Ananda Marga ideology states, "Question: What is pratyáhára?"

"Answer: Pratyáhára is derived: prati – á – hr + ghaiṋ. The word áhára literally means “assimilating” or “taking something within”. As a yogic practice, pratyáhára means “withdrawal of the mind from external objectivity and goading the withdrawn mind toward Parama Puruśa”. (1)

Ananda Marga ideology states, "You must bring about a revolutionary change in the flow of your judgment and thought, and see how, after overcoming your fascination with external colour, your mind becomes tinged with the His glorious colour. In Ananda Marga Sadhana, the method of withdrawing the mind from degrading tendencies, and absorbing oneself in the colour of the Great, is called Pratyáhára Yoga (the yoga of withdrawal) or Varńárghyadána (the offering of colours). All people have a particular attraction for one or another object or activity and as soon as they become attracted to an object, then their minds become coloured with the colour of that object. You can withdraw your mind from the colour of that object and dye yourself in His colour by offering Him the captivating colour of the object that has attracted you: this is the real Pratyáhára Yoga. The word Pratyáhára means “to withdraw” – to withdraw the mind from its object." (2)

Note: In astaunga yoga, there are 8 limbs - one of which is pratyahara. We practice that as Guru puja, and that is part of our regular sadhana routine. Guru puja is very important. After sadhana, one should always do Guru puja, and Guru puja can also be done on its own. After all, it is a lesson. By this way, one's attachment for mundane things slowly fades away. It is a perfect science. If, after practicing Guru puja, one is unable to get rid of their worldly attachments and / or a particular mental weakness, then best is to consult an acarya. In the Acarya Diary, Baba has given a detailed science and method for practicing Guru puja. One should learn how to do this from any acarya, one on one.

Humanity & planet Earth's future + 4 more

Baba

Humanity & planet Earth's future

Namaskar,

Most every Ananda Margii is aware how Baba says that one day this Earth will become uninhabitable so humans will shift to other planets, and we will reside permanently somewhere else. Yet, when we look around, no other planet in our solar system is conducive for human life.

The Earth is still in its infancy

So there has to be a very practical and natural solution to the problem. First off, we must take into account that, according to Baba, this Earth is in its infancy. That means this Earth will be habitable for humans for a long, long time. And it also means that the sun’s death is not at all imminent. The sun will continue to provide warmth, light, and proper atmospheric conditions on planet Earth far into the future. Thus, for the foreseeable future, humans will be on Earth.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

As the sun cools, humans will go

Yet, that still does not resolve the problem of where humans will go when the Earth becomes uninhabitable. Baba has given us the answer to this dilemma. Slowly, over time, the sun will naturally lose its strength. The Earth will be transformed gradually into barren land. Humans will no longer be able to survive here. But that also means that some planets will become more suitable for human life.

In due course, other planets will develop atmospheric and climatic conditions that will support human life. So that is the gateway to how, far into the future, humans will one day depart this Earth in an easy and practical way.

No fear about extinction

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "The earth came into existence [crores] of years ago. Though from the archaeological point of view it is still in its infancy, one day or another it is bound to meet its Waterloo. This will naturally mean the extinction of the human race. Is it so? The destruction of a particular planet or solar system does not mean the end of the human race. There are numerous other stars and planets in the universe. With further development of science and by the help of inter-planetary rocket systems, human beings will move to other planets. What is a dream today will become a reality tomorrow...In coming days, you will see such rockets which may enable human beings to travel to other planets. And, if one day, these planets and stars also perish, people will move to other planets...There is therefore, no cause to fear. The earth may one day become extinct but humanity can’t cease to exist. You can rest assured." (1)

Humans will one day move to other planets

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "On other planets also, there are creatures like human beings. Not only on other planets [of this solar system], but on other celestial bodies, there may be creatures like human beings, in some cases slightly more developed, in some cases slightly less developed...Humans will remain on this planet for a little while longer, and they will undergo further change. On other planets and stars as well, the bodies of human-like beings have evolved in accordance with the particular amounts and ratios of the five fundamental factors in those places...The extinction of human beings from this planet should by no means leave anyone frustrated. The victorious humans who came to this planet long ago will move to other planets, towards a greater glory, a greater victory, a far greater enlightenment." (2)

Humans will never become extinct

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "Human beings came onto this earth about a million years ago. In this universe, our earth is not only the only planet, nor is the sun the only star. There are numerous stars and luminous bodies and planets. Wherever there is a proper balance amongst the five fundamental factors, there life has evolved. Various species of animals have evolved on various planets, are living today, will remain for some time, and in the future will disappear. History shows that so many animals roamed this earth with great prowess, but their strength gradually waned and they have become totally extinct. One day human beings will also be extinct on this planet. But this does not mean that they will become extinct on all other planets also. Before this earth becomes unfit for human habitation or faces a complete thermal death, the developed human beings will travel to other planets. Thus they will never become completely extinct in this universe." (3)

Inhabit other planets

Ananda Marga philosophy guides us, "A certain planet may suffer thermal death, but certainly not the entire universe. Before thermal death occurs on a particular planet, human beings, having made great technological advances, will move to other planets by rocket. So there is no plausible reason for human beings to become frightened by the prospects of a thermal death." (4)

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "If the earth becomes depleted of resources, the people of the world will rush to other planets and satellites in search of new land.” (5)

Conclusion

Baba has assured us that the future of humanity is secure. Humans will remain on this Earth for a long, long time, and when the conditions demand our departure from this planet, then humans will easily shift themselves to other inhabitable planets.

O’ Lord, I will find You somewhere

“Khunje gechi jiivan bhare, kotháy tumi lukiye ácho…” (Prabhat Samgiita #2531)

Purport:

O’ Lord, my whole, entire life I have searched for You. I looked in all the ten directions but could not find You anywhere. Please allow me to ask: Where are You hiding? I have searched for You along the lengthy river banks, in the deep forests, on the highest mountain peaks, and I could not find You in any of those places. Now I see that You are also not in those so-called holy places. So tell me, where are You?

Baba, I have full faith that this pursuit is not futile or useless. In my heart, I know that I shall certainly find You. Undeterred, yet with tearful eyes, I continue looking for You, both inside and outside of my home, in hopes of discovering where You are hiding. I know I will find You somewhere. .

O’ Baba, so many lifetimes have gone to waste, so many springs have cried, and so many different types of moha - worldly attractions - have pulled me back and gnawed at me. Just when it all seemed so hopeless, today, by overflowing everything in all directions, You have graciously satiated my heart.

Baba, You have graciously made my search successful….

Who is Baba talking about

Kindly read the below quote from Baba's teachings. At the end of the quote a question has been posed. If your answer to the question is correct then it means you read Baba's books carefully; and, if your answer is wrong or you do not know the answer, then it signifies that you need to pay more attention when reading Guru's teachings. After all, if sadhakas are not diligent in studying Baba's books then who is going to read them - non-margiis?

Ananda Marga ideology states, “Those who profess a faith claiming to be the last word from the last prophet follow an incorrect line. Prout [Progressive Utilization Theory] philosophy is ahead of such philosophies and faiths. As is stated in its fifth principle, it is a philosophy which not only sets its goal as the ultimate subjectivity (Brahma, who is unchangeable and eternal), but also adopts the objective course of adjustment according to time, space and person.” (1)

Question: Who is Baba referring to in the yellow highlighted section?

Answer: In the above quiz, in the yellow highlighted section Sadguru Baba is talking about - the Semitic religions. They preach this type of dogma.

Have you seen people gossip during kiirtana

WT conduct rule says, "You will cultivate the practice of maonbrata (vow of silence) at least half an hour every day during working hours." (1)

Note: In the above conduct rule Baba is giving the solution of one common problem. Because many suffer from the mental disease of gossiping needlessly. It can happen to anyone but certain Wts are more indulged because they talk all day long. Even if a kiirtan program is going on then still they are sitting and talking non-stop. So this is the bad habit of some Wts.

To stop this Baba has given the aforementioned conduct rule. So if anyone is not following Baba's above guideline then they should be encouraged (or pressurized) to practice it. And by that way they will gain control over their negative habit of talking uselessly. Indeed by that way one can make the extroverted mind introverted.

Is Radha A Female? No

“ Parama Puruśa is the only real entity, the only absolute entity. The further the jiivas move towards Parama Puruśa, the more elevated their minds become. When they reach a very subtle stage of elevation, their concentrated mind-stuff speeds towards Him with the one-pointedness of an arrow. Such a mentality is called Rádhá...What is Rádhá bháva? When devotees feel in their heart of hearts that their existence is meaningless without attaining the Lord, that they cannot survive a single moment without feeling His blissful presence, they have attained the stage called Rádhá. Such devotees know nothing other than árádhaná [total mental absorption.” (NKS, '97 Edn, p. 53-4)

Note: Some ignorant people think that Radha is a female of Vrindaban. But that is not true. 'A-grade' devotees are Radha, whether they be male or female.
