A medida que entramos en la fase culminante de la era vaeshyan, abundan muchos temas:
(a) La explotación capitalista es cada vez más intensa;
(b) las economías del mundo están unidas más que nunca;
(c) el uso continuo de una fuerza de trabajo inmigrante y trabajadores explotados;
(d) la subcontratación de trabajo a China y las llamadas naciones del tercer mundo, etc.

Por todas estas razones y más, la economía global actual se encuentra en una posición precaria, y la gente común es la que sufre. Aquí hay una mirada proutista a algunos de los temas clave.


Explotación capitalista: los trabajadores sufren

Los capitalistas crean industrias dondequiera que puedan encontrar mano de obra barata y costos bajos para maximizar sus propias ganancias. Una de las repercusiones de esto es que los capitalistas obligan a los trabajadores inocentes y hambrientos a ir a donde está la industria, dejando áreas particulares desoladas y creando disturbios por todas partes.

En un resumen en español de “Some Specialities of Prout's Economic System”, Baba nos dice: Donde no hay un desarrollo económico adecuado, se desarrolla mano de obra excedente. De hecho, todas las regiones económicas subdesarrolladas sufren de mano de obra excedente, y cuando la mano de obra excedente migra a otras regiones, la región permanece subdesarrollada para siempre. Y esto es lo que vemos que sucede hoy. Algunos de estos ejemplos son las economías subdesarrolladas de América Central (es decir, El Salvador y Honduras) donde abunda el desempleo y la mano de obra excedente / los trabajadores se dirigen a los EE. UU. para trabajar. Una vez que llegan a los EE. UU., se les paga salarios bajos y los capitalistas se deleitan con su llegada. La migración de trabajadores también se encuentra en su punto más alto en toda Asia y en todo el mundo. Dichos capitalistas no deberían tener margen para perturbar toda la economía y presionar a los trabajadores para que migren de un lugar a otro por su pan de cada día.

En definitiva, entre otras razones, en el capitalismo las grandes empresas se tragan a las más pequeñas y las cosas son baratas pero el dinero está inmovilizado en manos de unos pocos; por lo que la gente común no puede permitirse los productos básicos. Por lo tanto, el dinero se centraliza en un área y la brecha entre ricos y pobres es enorme, y aumenta cada día.

En contraste, Prout crea una economía activa con dinero rodando en áreas locales. De esta manera, los trabajadores no tienen por qué estar sujetos a todo tipo de torturas y problemas al tener que moverse por todo el mundo en busca de trabajo, dejando atrás a sus familias. Más bien, se debe crear una economía fuerte en todos y cada uno de los samaj y los diversos samajas deben tener relaciones caracterizadas por una cooperación coordinada. De esa manera, Prout se preocupa por el desarrollo integral de toda la comunidad.

La autosuficiencia protege al pueblo e invita al crecimiento

Baba ha introducido Su teoría samaj basada en unidades socioeconómicas autosuficientes. En este sistema se desarrolla la industria donde existen materias primas y mano de obra existente. Donde aquellos que viven en un área obtienen un amplio margen laboral para poder trabajar en esa área, al mismo tiempo que mantienen una política de puertas abiertas para otras personas interesadas en residir en ese samaj.

En un resumen en español de A Few Problems Solved - 2, “Agrarian Revolution”, Baba nos dice: En la India moderna hay dos áreas distintas: una de mano de obra excedente y la otra de mano de obra deficitaria. Es por eso que la gente suele migrar de áreas de mano de obra excedente a otras regiones. Sin embargo, el concepto mismo de mano de obra excedente es relativo. Donde no se han creado las oportunidades adecuadas para un desarrollo económico apropiado, hay mano de obra excedente. La mano de obra se convierte en excedente en todas las áreas socioeconómicas subdesarrolladas. Cuando la mano de obra excedente se traslada a otra región, el área subdesarrollada tiene todas las posibilidades de permanecer subdesarrollada para siempre. (resumen en español)

En un resumen en español de A Few Problems Solved - 2, “Agrarian Revolution”, Baba nos dice: Según PROUT, dondequiera que haya mano de obra excedente, se debe dar la máxima prioridad a la creación de empleo para toda la mano de obra local. Esta política elevará el nivel de vida de la población local y de toda el área. Si esta política no se implementa y se permite que la mano de obra excedente se traslade a otras regiones, y se sigue la política marxista de que “aquellos que siembran, cosecharán”, entonces todas las plantaciones de té, minas de carbón y otros recursos naturales serán controlados por mano de obra externa. Mientras no haya pleno empleo para la población local, se deben realizar esfuerzos continuos hasta que toda la mano de obra local esté totalmente empleada. Además, no habrá nuevos programas de desarrollo que inicien hasta que haya más demanda de mano de obra. Los países escandinavos no iniciaron ningún nuevo plan de desarrollo por este motivo. Conclusión

En el sistema Prout, las materias primas no se envían desde el samaj para que otras regiones más poderosas puedan beneficiarse y enriquecerse con esos recursos. Y en segundo lugar, en el sistema Prout, hay muchos trabajos locales disponibles para que los trabajadores no tengan que viajar miles de millas y vivir en una tierra desconocida para ganarse la vida. Más bien, la construcción del sistema samaj garantiza que las personas obtendrán trabajos cerca de su casa, en el área en la que viven. Después de tomar todo esto en consideración, otros pueden emigrar libremente a otro samaj siempre y cuando hayan fusionado sus sentimientos e intereses socioeconómicos con ese lugar. Almost sixty years ago, Sadguru Baba gave the key teaching how climate affects human anatomy. In particular, Baba explains how hot and warm climates affect the shape of the nose and the colour of the skin etc. It is not based on race etc. Just the body adapted due to climate. And now, in their research western scientists have drawn this same conclusion regarding the shape of the nose.

AM teachings far ahead of "modern science"

Prout philosophy states, “The nostrils of people in hot countries are comparatively large and the front of the nose is extended. Why does this happen? Because external heat makes the internal air heated. The body temperature having increased, the internal heat tries to force its way out rapidly. As a result of the rapid exhalation of heavy, hot air, the diameter of the front portion of the nose increases.” (1)

Prout philosophy states, “People who live in cold countries develop fatty tissues in their bodies...And though their noses are high, their nostrils are comparatively small because if a large amount of chill air enters the body it will inevitably affect the lungs and vocal chord. That is why nature has made the constitution of the inhabitants of cold countries so ideally suited as not to allow a greater than necessary amount of air to enter the body at the time of breathing.” (2)

Breathe Easy: Nose Shape Was Influenced by Local Climate

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The human nose, in all its glorious forms, is one of our most distinctive characteristics, whether big, little, broad, narrow or somewhere in between. Scientists are now sniffing out some of the factors that drove the evolution of the human proboscis.

Researchers said on Thursday a study using three-dimensional images of hundreds of people of East Asian, South Asian, West African and Northern European ancestry indicated local climate, specifically temperature and humidity, played a key role in determining the nose's shape.

Wider noses were more common in people from warm and humid climates, they found. Narrower noses were more common in those from cold and dry climates.

The nose's primary functions are breathing and smelling. It has mucous and blood capillaries inside that help warm and humidify inhaled air before it reaches more sensitive parts of the respiratory tract.

Having narrower nasal airways might help increase contact between inhaled air and tissues inside the nose carrying moisture and heat, said Penn State University geneticist Arslan Zaidi, lead author of the study published in the journal PLOS Genetics.

"This might have offered an advantage in colder climates. In warmer climates, the flip side was probably true," Zaidi said.

Our species appeared in Africa about 200,000 years ago and later migrated to other parts of the world. The researchers said people with narrower nostrils may have done better and produced more offspring than those with wider nostrils in colder, drier locales, driving a gradual decline in nose width.

The finding generally supports what's called Thomson's rule, formulated by British anatomist and anthropologist Arthur Thomson (1858-1935), that people from cold, dry climates tend to have longer and thinner noses than people from warm, humid climates.

Zaidi said most previous evidence regarding Thomson's rule came from skull measurements, while this study expanded on that by analyzing external nose shape.

The researchers studied nose width, nostril width, nose height, length of the nose ridge, nose tip protrusion, external surface area and total nostril area.

"What we have tested is a very simple hypothesis about the nose, which likely had a very complex evolutionary history. There's a lot we don't know," Zaidi said, citing the need to probe genes underlying nose shape.

"One can imagine how cultural differences in attractiveness could have led to some of the differences in nose shape between populations. What comprises dharmic scripture

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "It is universally true, for all ages and all realms, that dharma is the main current of human life. It is the impetus of living beings; it is also their source of wealth and the guidance for their journey through life. In the pervasive sense of the word, all objects, animate and inanimate, have their respective dharma: that is, dharma denotes the very existence of an object. In its narrow sense, dharma is less manifested in inanimate entities and more manifested in animate ones. In animate entities, the manifestation of the dharma of non-human creatures is instinctive and inborn. But the dharma of human beings is much more than this: it permeates and penetrates each and every sphere of life. Hence in the realm of dharma, the only true guide and controller, motivating force and protector of the people, is an excellent and comprehensive ideology which provides definite, clear-cut and bold directions for all aspects of human life – from one’s personal daily routine, to one’s social activities and collective motivation, to the spiritual inspiration which brings one closer and closer to God. A scripture which does not fulfil these conditions is not worthy of being called a scripture at all. Such a scripture does not contain the light of consciousness according to the definition Shásanát tárayet yastu sah shástrah parikiirttitah [“That which liberates through discipline is called shástra, scripture”]. We should also remember that in the realm of dharma there must be clear-cut injunctions in the form of dharma shástra [scriptural treatises], and simultaneously there must be strict guardians who during their lifetimes guide themselves as well as others according to those scriptural injunctions." Not a real person, just imaginary

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “Many of you are aware of the fact that Ramchandra was not an historical figure, but a fictional one: he was an imaginary character to represent an ideal king. Maharśi Valmiki was the first person to give proper expression to that character. But the poet Tulsidas tried still harder, in the Mughal period, not very long ago, to accomplish this through the Rámacaritamánasa, written in the Avadhii language. The Rámacaritamánasa is not the complete Rámáyańa. Tulsidas described the character of Rama as he thought Rama should be; he delineated the character of Rama as he conceived of Rama in his own mind. Tulsidas was a truthful person. He did not name his book the Tulasiidásii Rámáyańa, he named it Rámacaritamánasa [“The Life of Rama As Conceived by Tulsidas”].” (1)
