आनन्दमार्ग दर्शन के अनुसार - “Thus the entire creation has two phases. The first phase is the process of the transformation of subtle into crude and the second is that of crude into subtle.”

Pauseless struggle
“Struggle is the essence of life. Yours should be a pauseless struggle against corruption, hypocrisy and animality.” (Ananda Vanii #11)
Note 1: True Ananda Vaniis have a number whereas Fake Ananda Vaniis do not - just as a fake car license plate has no number. By this way, you can easily recognise a Fake Ananda Vanii.
== Section 3: Important Teaching ==
How majority are fools
Prout philosophy says, “There are several forms of governmental structure, and among them the democratic structure is highly appreciated [by some persons]. Democracy is defined as “government of the people, by the people and for the people.” But in fact it is the rule of the majority. Hence democracy means “mobocracy” because the government in a democratic structure is guided by mob psychology. The majority of the society are fools; wise people are always in a minority. Thus, finally democracy is nothing but “foolocracy”.” (2)
Note: Given the present political climate around the world, democracy is the best option. But democracy does have its shortcomings. Currently, the chief criteria for voting is age. If one has reached a certain age then that makes them eligible to vote. Yet we all know that age alone does not certify that one is truly qualified one to vote in a mature and meaningful manner. To cast a meaningful vote, socio-political awareness is needed.
However, nowadays this is a very delicate issue. People feel that all should be allowed to vote - not just a select few. Because, since long, in the name a selecto-electoral system, voting rights were only given to the dominant group. For instance, in the US, only white males were allowed to vote for nearly two centuries. Relatively recently, after an extended battle, voting rights were granted to women, African-Americans, and others etc. That is why today, if you mention the benefits of the selecto-electoral system, people become terrified. They think that only the ruling group will have voting rights and all others will be subjected to unfair treatment. They feel they just eradicated that misery and now you want to bring it back.
Yet as society advances, people will realise the need to have a socially & politically conscious electorate. One should have sufficient knowledge of the various parties and what their platforms are. If such a system is properly implemented, and really only socially & politically conscious people can vote, then the world will be a different place. There will be so many positive changes. In due course it is going to happen. Unfortunately, because of the shortcomings in present-day system, the majority of voters are fools. Hence, democracy is nothing but foolocracy

Deadly effect of crime films

Baba

This email contains two sections:

Deadly effect of crime films

Namaskar,

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "The base propensities which lie dormant in everyone are easily stimulated by constant association with bad people. Through the united efforts of parents, people living in the locality and educators, it may be possible to save children from bad company. But it is very difficult to save them from the evil influences which reside in their own homes or preponderate in their neighbourhood. The only way to overcome such influences is to popularize the ideals of dharma, spread moral education and train an honest police force." (1)

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "In the modern world there is a wide variety of films which excite the passions and have a degrading influence on boys and girls, adolescents and young men and women. Such films create in cinema-goers the desire to emulate in their individual lives the criminal activities, the vulgar expressions of love, or the adventurous behaviour that they see enacted on the screen. This is another example of how keeping bad company causes depravity. Many cinema-goers imagine that the characters that they see on the screen are their actual acquaintances, but when they try to emulate these characters, they discover that the real world is much tougher than the world portrayed by the cinema. If their family ties are weak, if they are their own guardians or if they have no high ideals to inspire them, it will be extremely difficult, although not impossible, to save them from bad influences." (2)

Note: Now read about the below incident. Then it will be quite clear how the very thing Baba is warning about has taken shape, tragically.

Teen's 4-day killing spree inspired by 'The Purge,' court docs say

Johnathan Cruz talked about leaving town after he'd started his "purge," according to court documents. The 19-year-old had already killed twice, court documents said, and he told one of his girlfriends he needed to leave Indianapolis "asap." But another man died before Cruz finally would be arrested, ending a four-day crime spree modeled after the plot of the horror film series "The Purge," in which the United States government designates a 12-hour period where all crimes, including murder, are legal.

Cruz now faces three murder charges in connection with the shooting deaths of Billy Boyd and Jay Higginbotham on May 12, and Jose Ruiz on May 15. He also faces a slew of other felony charges connected to the alleged crimes, including robbery, intimidation and more. Prosecutors are also pursuing a criminal gang enhancement.
His initial hearing is set for 1:30 p.m. on June 2 in Criminal Court 3, and, because of the circumstances of the crimes, prosecutors say Cruz could face life in prison without parole, or the death sentence.

'Purge' victim remembered by Holy Spirit congregation

"We will not make that decision any earlier than at least 30 days down the road," said Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry during a press conference Wednesday, also noting that the teen's victims "appeared to be 100 percent random."

After Curry announced charges against Cruz, Mayor Joe Hogsett released a statement: "Senseless acts of violence such as those alleged in this case are incomprehensible, but thanks to the swift actions of IMPD detectives, Prosecutor Terry Curry and witnesses willing to come forward, we are one step closer to providing answers for these victims’ families.”

A probable cause affidavit describes the disturbing details of the four-day spree — one that, detectives believe, is affiliated with criminal gang activity." (3)

Conclusion

Allowing children to watch horros films and play degrading games etc means knowingly harming them.

In Him,
Pavitra

Rare Teaching of Baba: Sign of Weak Mind

BABA
Rare Teaching of Baba: Sign of Weak Mind
Namaskar,
Ananda Marga ideology says, “Imagine a scoundrel is standing in front of you. The man is such a rogue that you feel like slapping him, but do not actually do it. It is only when you decide, ‘Let me slap that scoundrel’, that your hands actually strike him. When the inner urge to externalise the feeling becomes strong enough, your hands leap into action. A great person is one who has complete control over the externalisation of thoughts. A thought will not always be expressed physically. One may have a desire to hit someone or a desire to steal, but never actually does it due to one’s self control.” (1)
Knee-jerk reaction is the sign of a weak mind
Various people react differently to the same set of circumstances. For example, if one person in the market suddenly abused Mr. A and Mr. B.  Then Mr. A and Mr B will react differently. By listening to the unjust abuse, Mr A violently kicked the boy in his stomach. In contrast, when the same person abused Mr. B then Mr. B remained calm and patient to see how the situation developed.
According to the above teaching, Mr A has a weak mind because of his hasty, knee-jerk reaction. Whereas Mr B has a stronger mind as he exercised restraint over his motor organs. The final teaching is, “Do not react immediately - try to have control over your organs and do not allow your hands, feet, mouth etc (i.e. the motor organs) to quickly and impulsively jump into action.” For that mental force is needed. Otherwise those organs will react automatically, without the support of the intellect.
Mr. A's leg kicked impulsively & killed the boy
In the above example, Mr. A dealt the boy a deadly kick in the stomach due to which he died. And for that Mr. A got arrested and convicted in court on charges of capital punishment. So this is the example of thoughtless action. And according to the above Baba's teaching, A has no control over his nerve fibers. And that is because of weak mind. The weak mind cannot control the nerve fibers, and in result Mr. A's leg came impulsively into action without the obvious support of mind, and killed the boy. Later on, the whole life Mr. A repented for the crime which he committed without thinking seriously, in the spur of the moment. Many who do not practice yoga and meditation, do not have control over their mind. Their mind is weak, and at the simplest of issues their emotions will burst out-- anger, hatred-- and their motor organs will also jump into action without the control of mind.
Without thinking, hundreds of people jumped into the river
For example, there was a crowd on the bridge, due to a pilgrimage. And someone started a false rumour that a wild elephant is approaching on the run. So without thinking, hundreds of people jumped into the river-- and the majority died. This is a classic example of a knee-jerk reaction. Their action is not supported by mind. This proves that those who jumped into the river, they are all weak-minded.
Why does this happen? Due to lack of sadhana, the mind is very weak. So watch out-- if someone’s mind is weak, and at the simplest of issues their emotions will burst out-- anger, hatred-- and their motor organs will also jump into action without the control of mind.  And that's what Baba is guiding us in His below teaching.
Namaskar,
In Him,
Svarnadiipti
Ananda Marga ideology says, “Imagine a scoundrel is standing in front of you. The man is such a rogue that you feel like slapping him, but do not actually do it. It is only when you decide, ‘Let me slap that scoundrel’, that your hands actually strike him. When the inner urge to externalise the feeling becomes strong enough, your hands leap into action. A great person is one who has complete control over the externalisation of thoughts. A thought will not always be expressed physically. One may have a desire to hit someone or a desire to steal, but never actually does it due to one’s self control.” (1)
Important thing to know--
Suppose you saw a beggar who was sitting in a very cold winter night on the roadside in the darkness. Moving along you saw him, and by seeing his pitiful condition, from your eyes tears of compassion came. And with kindness, you arranged for his food and covering, and also provided shelter. So the tears of kindness which were spontaneous after seeing this beggar, that was not the sign of a weak mind. Rather, that was the sign of a developed mind which has very positive instincts.
So the conclusion is that those who express their knee-jerk reaction under the spell of malevolent vrttis, they are weak-minded. And the opposite is the case with benevolent vrttis. If seeing someone in trouble, you jumped into action to save them, then that is a positive thing.
Example of Weak-minded wts

We should express reverence by not putting everywhere

Baba

This email contains two sections:

We should express reverence by not putting everywhere

Namaskar,
I believe that all pratikriti and videos of Baba should be treasured in libraries belonging to respected margii libraries and AM center offices libraries. No one should have free access to Guru's Varabaya mudra. This is an important aspect of the lessons. There can be no good that comes of plastering Baba's picture everywhere and His videos. I do watch these gems. But I do so on my knees, doing Namaskar mudra, and with great respect. I daresay this is not what is happening by the majority.

It is my wish that my Guru's pictures and video get off the web. Some think this is an impossible task. I do not. This is copyrighted material. It's not impossible.

Baba's approach is to be incredibly modest. He did not want Ananda Marga to be a cult of personality as you know. Even legitimate Ananda Marga sites display Baba's pictures.

We are living in a different time where it is possible to pirate any image one comes across. I believe Baba's pictures should belong to margiis and that's it.

It is possible to use the web to share Baba's pictures without having them be public. Anyone putting Baba's pictures in a public place should be stopped. I don't think Ananda Marga realizes the problem here. Of course one would not expect His picture on Wikipedia.

When I can afford, I would happily be willing to donate and get others to donate for lawyers in this regard. We know the split happened and that some factions cannot use the name Ananda Marga. This action, which was all about money, not Guru, is perhaps sad. But it makes a point. The Guru's image is copyrighted material.

For example. I am a chemist and I use secret methods in my work. What if I were to write a book for just for my students with the stipulation they should not show this book to ANYONE. And then they published it. I would have to sue them, if I could.

I know the books in Ananda Marga have Baba's picture. But that is far different than Baba on the web.

Think about how different it would be if someone said, well, show me this Guru you talk about and we say, "No. You are not a margii. Baba's pictures are protected and are only for margiis." Is that not how it should be?

Thank goodness I have not found any of the lessons on the web! But I suspect if one looked hard enough, it is possible one could find them. Of course, since the lessons are personal and many require personal mantras, you would not get that.

We need to respect ourselves. Then the world is far more apt to respect us. The image of our Guru is sacred and not for all to see. It may cost money. It may cost a lot of money. But I believe it can be done. What must happen first is that margiis take action and band together on this issue. Even respected AM sites should take His picture off! And if someone wonders, why do I not see a picture of the Propounder of Ananda Marga when there is information about Him (they think with a big "H")? Because of Baba's desire and  because of margiis desire, we do not share the pictures with non-margiis. If you really want to see a picture of Baba, either become a margii, or read one of His books. There are pictures of Him in His books.

Who owns rights to all these pictures? Those who took them? Or Ananda Marga?

If the people who took the videos do not step up and take responsibility for them and help with this matter, they are no better than paparazzis, except that they are paparazzis who benefit from taking pictures of The Lord. These pictures and video are sacred and have not been treated this way.

Guru's picture should not help us with pracar! Only after one has become a margii should one have access, and with the understanding that Guru's pictures are not to be published anywhere without permission. Many may have seen how the book The Jamalpur Years used the wrong picture! This picture is an intimate picture of Baba and should not have been on the one tell all book. The best would have been if there had been no picture of Baba at all.

I hereby declare that all true margiis should treat Baba's videos and pictures with great respect. If a margii watches Baba's video, I suggest second lesson, doing pranam, then sitting on one's knees to watch. If at least we can all begin with this sentiment, it will make our effort to remove the pictures to where all can see that much easier. When Guru sees us taking effort, maybe He will help. And maybe this effort in the first place is by His Grace.

It might even be a good idea to put the screen where one sees a Baba video on a puja table.

In a retreat, I suggest that if Baba's videos are watched, we should build a mandap or whatever place Baba would have resided and place a large screen on that place.

No one should watch a Baba video simply sitting in a chair, possibly eating...as if this were the evening's entertainment.

Much Thanks for your attention. Namaskar again.

In Baba,
Bhaskar

Religious Chameleon

Religious Chameleon

Namaskar,

The following article is courtesy of Solon Magazine, author George Gillett. According to Neohumanism, it is very important to expose hypocrisy in any segment or facet of society. So we are presenting this article for you.

The West’s big lie about Mother Teresa: Her “glorification of suffering instead of relieving it” has had little impact on her glowing reputation

Reused needles, poorly trained staff and expired medications. The picture Hemley Gonzalez describes to me is not one often associated with adjectives such as “saintly” in the medical profession. Yet as he discusses his experience volunteering at facilities run by Missionaries of Charity, the organization Mother Teresa founded, it becomes increasingly apparent that few of his anecdotes correlate with the reputation she enjoys. “I was shocked to discover the horrifically negligent manner in which the charity operates,” he recalls.

His story is not atypical. Writing in the New Internationalist magazine about her experience working at Missionaries of Charity’s headquarters in Kolkata, another volunteer urged that the organization be “finally held accountable for its actions of abuse and neglect.” Similar concerns were raised in a 1994 UK documentary that featured the story of a 15-year-old patient who had been admitted with a “relatively simple kidney complaint.” His condition had deteriorated soon after the facility had refused to transfer him to a local hospital to undergo surgery.

Recklessness or malicious intent

Criticism of Mother Teresa’s mission has also come from the medical profession. Dr. Robin Fox, former editor of the medical journal the Lancet, described the Missionaries of Charity facilities as “haphazard” as early as 1994, recounting how he witnessed a young man with malaria be treated with only ineffective antibiotics and paracetamol. “Along with the neglect of diagnosis, the lack of good analgesia marks Mother Theresa’s approach,” he wrote in an article for the journal.

Today, Gonzalez runs an online campaign called Stop Missionaries of Charity. He hopes to “educate unsuspecting donors” about how their donations are spent on what he regards to be “a systematic human rights violation.” Aroup Chatterjee shares similar feelings. Born in Kolkata and now a doctor in the UK, he was inspired to write a book about Teresa’s legacy. It describes detailed accounts of her patients being denied visitors, refused painkillers and forced to shave their heads. “If people knew what she was actually like, they would find her repugnant,” he tells me, clearly frustrated by the manner in which the media have reported news that she is to be canonized this year.

These claims are in such contradiction with the Western narrative of Mother Teresa – a winner of the Nobel Peace Prize as well as a number of other accolades – that it’s hard to respond to them with anything other than disbelief. Having received hundreds of millions of dollars in donations, there are seemingly few excuses for such poor medical care aside from either recklessness or malicious intent. Yet either of these accusations would be met with fervent denial from even the staunchest of secularists. How, then, has somebody with such a troubled legacy enjoyed almost universal adoration from the world’s media?

She was motivated by a desire to fulfill her own religious convictions rather than altruistic concern

Much of the reason is undoubtedly related to the fact that Mother Teresa’s order does not perceive these examples to be failings. Speaking in 1997, she remarked that “the world is being much helped by the suffering of the poor people,” describing how it was “very beautiful for the poor to share [their suffering] with the passion of Christ.” For Mother Teresa, poverty and sickness were gifts that provided the opportunity to develop one’s connection with God. Her mission was not so much to alleviate suffering but to ensure it happened within a framework of religious belief. Indeed, by her own admission she was motivated by a desire to fulfill her own religious convictions rather than altruistic concern for the world’s poor. “There is always the danger that we may become only social workers … our works are only an expression of our love for Christ,” she told a BBC journalist in 1969. This attitude is manifestly disparate from the utilitarian principles by which humanitarian efforts are ordinarily judged.

Yet this reality, of Mother Teresa as a missionary first and an altruist second, is not the image that has taken precedence in the West. She won the Nobel Prize not for her religious convictions but “for work undertaken in the struggle to overcome poverty.” Reports from volunteers, journalistic investigations and academic research that decries her “glorification of suffering instead of relieving it” has had little impact on her glowing reputation. This remains as true within secular communities as religious ones, with pollsters consistently reporting that Americans consider her one of the most admired figures of the 20th century.

German news magazine Stern found that only 7 per cent of this money was being used for charitable activity

The extent to which Mother Teresa is considered a humanitarian hero is a significant victory for the Catholic Church, which coordinated a high-profile campaign to have her “fast-tracked” to sainthood. However, in many ways it is no surprise that she remains so popular among Westerners. She presented a narrative – that of a European nun going to help the world’s poor – that acted to both resolve the internal guilt of wealthy churchgoers while also presenting their religion as a relevant, modern force for good. Meanwhile, her conceptualization of suffering as a positive experience provided rebuttal to those who criticized the West’s repeated failings to inspire tangible action on global inequality.

Speaking on world tours, her fatalistic attitude toward poverty, combined with an insistence on remaining “apolitical,” defined her disinterest in confronting the structural causes of destitution. She presented to the West a perfect role model: a do-gooder who didn’t threaten to challenge the status-quo. In the words of Kolkata-born journalist Mihir Bose, “She’s part of the western agenda, it makes the West feel better; ‘this is one of us, once again rescuing the third world.’”

The rebranding of Mother Teresa’s religious mission as a humanitarian effort was also convenient financially. Despite comprehensive accounts never having been published, researchers estimate that Missionaries of Charity was receiving up to C$100 (USD$72) million in annual donations by the end of Mother Teresa’s life. A 1991 investigation by the German news magazine Stern found that only 7 per cent of this money was being used for charitable activity.

The money that was spent was spread incredibly thinly – across 610 missions in 123 countries – a sign that the quality of care was severely compromised by Mother Teresa’s desire to disseminate her religious agenda as widely as possible. Reports that nuns were taught to conduct “secret baptisms” on Hindu and Muslim patients only further suggest that her order’s interventions were at times actively detrimental as well as being a distraction from genuine humanitarian efforts.

In pioneering Missionaries of Charity, Mother Teresa adopted the role of a medical provider. As any doctor or nurse will testify, this role imparts certain responsibilities: to act only within your capabilities, to respect a patient’s best interests and to not impose your personal, religious or political beliefs on patient care. On all of these counts, Mother Teresa failed. Judged by any metric of medical standards, it is difficult to remember her legacy as anything other than an inefficient, sanctimonious and wholly ideological franchise.

Teresa of Kolkata should by all means be remembered as an extremely successful evangelist. But to claim she is a champion of altruism, medicine or humanitarianism would be to fundamentally misunderstand her mission.

Mother Teresa was not a friend of the poor
“One of Mother Teresa's most outspoken critics was the English journalist and literary critic Christopher Hitchens, who wrote the extended essay The Missionary Position: Mother Teresa in Theory and Practice (1995) and wrote in a 2003 article, "This returns us to the medieval corruption of the church, which sold indulgences to the rich while preaching hellfire and continence to the poor. [Mother Teresa] was not a friend of the poor. She was a friend of poverty. She said that suffering was a gift from God. She spent her life opposing the only known cure for poverty, which is the empowerment of women and the emancipation of them from a livestock version of compulsory reproduction."[124] (Wikipedia)

Beware of this bogus yoga chart / poster

Namaskar.
Recently, one bogus chart of tantra yoga has been making the rounds on various forums and websites. Indeed it has been pervasively shared. Sadly, those propagating this chart do not realise that it is full of errors and inaccuracies. Here are a few of the many fundamental flaws from this bogus tantra yoga chart.

Bogus
information about cakras

Flaw #1 of Bogus “Tantra Yoga” Chart: The chart wrongly presents that the stage of realisation known as salokya occurs in the manipur cakra.

Comment: Sadguru Baba guides us that salokya occurs at the svadhisthana cakra.

Ananda Marga ideology guides us, “When by dint of Sádhaná the Kula Kuńd́alini comes to Svádhiśt́hana Cakra, the Sádhaka feels that he himself and Paramátman are in the same world. “Though He is far, yet He is visible. One day I will reach Him.” This is Sálokya Samádhi.” (Subhasita Samgraha - 18, Yoga and Bhakti) (1)

Outcome: Baba’s above teaching proves that the chart’s claim that salokya occurs at the manipur cakra is completely wrong.

Flaw #2 of Bogus “Tantra Yoga” Chart: The chart wrongly presents the practice of asanas as only related with the physical body and the muladhara cakra.

Comment: Sadguru Baba guides us that the practice of asanas is related with all the various cakras and has a profound effect on the mind as well.

Ananda Marga Caryacarya states, “The practice of ásanas cures the body’s glandular system of all its maladies and helps the mind to attain balance for spiritual practices.” (Caryacarya -1, Sadhana) (2)

Outcome: Baba’s above teaching proves that the chart’s claim that asanas are only related with the physical body and the muladhara cakra is completely wrong.

Bogus information about sadhana

Flaw #3 of Bogus “Tantra Yoga” Chart:  The chart wrongly presents iishvara pranidhana as part of dhyana, i.e. the 7th limb of astaunga yoga.

Comment: Sadguru Baba guides us that iishvara pranidhana is the 5th point of niyama, i.e. the 2nd limb of astaunga yoga.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “In Niyama, the most important item is Iishvara prańidhána.” (A Guide to Human Conduct, Niyama Sadhana) (3)

Outcome: Baba’s above teaching proves that the chart’s claim that iishvara pranidhana is part of dhyana is completely wrong.

Flaw #4 of Bogus “Tantra Yoga” Chart: The chart wrongly presents the lessons of dharana, i.e. tattva dharana & cakra shodhana, as related exclusively with the vishuddha cakra.

Comment: Sadguru Baba teaches us in His sahaja yoga meditation that tattva dharana and cakra shodhana are related with many cakras.

Outcome: Everyone who practices sahaja yoga meditation knows that the chart’s claim that tattva dharana & cakra shodhana are related exclusively with the vishuddha cakra is completely wrong.

Flaw #5 of Bogus “Tantra Yoga” Chart: The chart wrongly presents the shuddhis as the equivalent of pratyahara yoga.

Comment: Sadguru Baba guides us that varńárghyadána - not the shuddhis - is pratyahara yoga.

Ananda Marga ideology guides us, “In Ananda Marga Sadhana, the method of withdrawing the mind from degrading tendencies, and absorbing oneself in the colour of the Great, is called Pratyáhára Yoga (the yoga of withdrawal) or Varńárghyadána (the offering of colours).” (Subhasita Samgraha - 3, Vibration, Form and Colour) (4)

Outcome: Baba’s above teaching proves how the chart’s claim about the shuddhis is completely wrong. The shuddhis are not even a full-fledged lesson whereas pratyahara is an actual limb of astaunga yoga.

And verily from top to bottom and from side to side, the bogus tantra yoga chart is filled with errors, misleading information, and bogus classifications. Anyone who reads this chart will be completely misguided.

False things propagate in the name of Ananda Marga

The whole chart has been created in the name of Ananda Marga philosophy. So not only is this chart full or flaws, but it is all done in the name of our philosophy. This whole episode is a farce. The chart claims to represent Ananda Marga philosophy, yet the chart itself is full of bogus information that undermines the path, practice, and philosophy of yoga Ananda Marga. It is one thing to make a personal mistake, and another to implicate Ananda Marga philosophy in one’s erroneous approach and spread it all over the internet.

Conclusion

This demonstrates those who created this chart failed to learn even the basics of Ananda Marga philosophy. And other naive and innocent people get allured by the bogus chart and they spread it around without realising that this chart is filled with errors etc. By this way Ananda Marga is also blamed. Sadly new people will form a poor impression of Ananda Marga when they see that even basic errors are rampant on the chart. Even information that one is taught Day 1 in Ananda Marga - i.e. yama and niyama - is wrong. All in all, no one should indulge in such sin by propagating false things in the name of Ananda Marga.

Namaskar,
In Him,

Here below is the faulty chart:

If you cannot read the above bogus chart let us know and we will send you a larger version.

Who created this mess

Now the question is who created this mess - i.e. who made this bogus chart and diluted the teachings of Ananda Marga philosophy. The answer is that we do not know. Please help us find out who is behind this. Here below is a screenprint of the website and by that way you can reach to the source from where this mess began. Superficially it looks like an authentic Ananda Marga website but by their action it is obviously fictitious / illegitimate. You may also remember that this same website [anandamarga(dot)org] prominently features a music video of the dogmatic Hindu fictional goddess Jagatambe, Kali, Durge - where they chant victory to the holy goddess Jagatambe Kali, Durge.
(Note: The website at fault is the one shown below [i.e. anandamarga(dot)org], not the Ananda Marga News Bulletin blog. Rather the News Bulletin blog pointed out the dogma of the Jagatambe video.)

The bogus Tantra Yoga chart should be denounced and removed from all Ananda Marga websites. Thereafter either the chart can be corrected, or, if that is not possible, the chart should be destroyed.

Dirty libertine way is becoming a fad

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “The Sanskrit equivalent for marriage is viváha (vi – vah + ghaiṋ): it means, after the ceremony, the man and woman can no longer live as libertines or as irresponsible so-called family people. They have to discharge their full obligations as bharttá and kalatra, responsible husband and responsible wife.”

“Another Sanskrit equivalent for “woman” is nárii, which is feminine gender. But Shiva used the term kalatra, in the neuter; for to her husband a woman is a wife, but to her children and other members of the society, she is as dignified as her male counterpart. So by declaring a married lady to be kalatra, Shiva gave her special status, and addressed her in neuter terms.”

“The liberal meaning of the term viváha is “live one’s life in a new way with a special type of responsibility”. This is the underlying significance of the Shaeva system of marriage.”

“In His life, Shiva Himself married with this commitment. We can say without the least hesitation that Shiva was the first person in this world to marry in the proper sense of the term..” (1)

Note: That which was common 7000 years ago has now again come into vogue: That same disease has become prevalent today. A huge percentage of people around the globe are leading libertine life - especially in the west. They produce children and neglect to take any responsibility. They do not like to be bound in conjugal relations and shoulder the responsibility of helping the child. The ones who suffer the most are the children and the mother. Often such children wind up in foster care - mentally and physically scarred. It is a serious crisis - watch out. Where capitalism is growing that disease will spread. Our duty is to propagate this teaching - if we bring even one libertine onto the path of responsibility then at least to some the problem is solved.

Religious exploiters and AMPS + 4 more

Religious exploiters and AMPS

Namaskar,
Since ages religious exploiters, priests, mullahs, pujaris, and so-called monks have misguided society. For example, in India, people were indoctrinated into the idea that family people cannot learn higher meditation. Those priests misguided the common mass by giving a false definition of brahmacarya. Similarly, the world over, priests became the middle man between God and the people. To root out this dogma, Ananda Marga ideology has been given. But in our AMPS organisation, the same type of priestocracy dogmas were injected after 1990:
(a) Puppets were made into tattvikas and family acaryas.
(b) The true role of family acaryas was snatched away by group leader. Prior to 1990, all kinds of social ceremonies were conducted by family people / family acaryas, but no longer. And in the past family people were purodhas on top boards, and that too has essentially vanished. There is a litany of other injustices that have put in vogue.

This is the hint that we should be aware of religious cheats - in any religion as well as within the bhagavad dharma of Ananda Marga. That is what Baba is guiding us about in His above teaching.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “It is most important for human beings to move in the realm of spirituality, more than in other realms. Human beings should have followed the proper teachings, but unfortunately, previous teachers did not teach us in this way, and that is why there has been such great chaos in the social and psychic spheres.”
“As a result of these improper teachings, many family people have suffered from the inferiority complex that as they were living mundane lives, they were sinners. This sort of idea was firmly implanted in the minds of family people as the result of false propaganda by the opportunistic exploiters, who wanted to protect their vested interests in the spiritual sphere. These exploiters also did not want to disseminate dharma among the masses at all, for they feared that the spread of dharma would undermine their vested interests.”
“But Ananda Marga is for one and all: I wish to disseminate dharma among all.” (1)

In Him,
Visnuma’ya’

The era of animality has gone and divinity has ascended

“Áshár pasará sahasá elo,álor túfán nikat́e elo,..” (Prabhat Samgiita #3644)

Purport:

After ages of gloom & hopelessness, the basket of hope came suddenly - i.e. Parama Purusa, the embodiment of Divine Effulgence, has taken advent;. The cyclone of divine effulgence has come close. His divine effulgence is immense, like a huge mountain covering the entire earth. The whole world is inundated with the flood of divinity.

Today even in remote corners, not even an iota of darkness was left. Not even a tinge of stain remained in anyone's mind. Everyone’s mind has become cleansed and purified. The Supreme Entity, the love personified Parama Purusa with His divine effulgence, has taken advent. He has graciously attracted everyone, and satisfied all their feelings and yearning by the outpouring of love from His heart.

Sadguru Baba blessed those bound and tied up in the deep, dark chasm of cimmerian darkness, and those whose mind had accumulated dogma the size of a mountain. Even they were blessed to open their eyes and look towards the eastern horizon, the rising sun of the dawn, and realize the era of animality was gone and the age of divinity has ascended. Their dogma and staticity vanished away with the advent of the new dawn. All are now basking in His divine grace. Everyone is blessed with the opportunity to look toward that divine radiance.

Baba, the Parama Purusa, with His divine effulgence has come and showered His divine effulgence and graced everyone...

Dogma means no logic but coerced to follow silly things

Ananda Marga ideology guides us, “What is dogma? Dogma is also an idea, but there is rigidity of the boundary line. Dogma will not allow you to go beyond the periphery of that boundary line. That is, dogma goes against the fundamental spirit of the human mind.” (1)

Note: Any idea which has a boundary around is a dogma. The sense is that one is not allowed to debate on this idea. Any and all debates are forbidden. For instance, if one religious leader says that the first Sunday of every month one must touch the dog’s tail to get virtue for heaven, then that becomes the rule for that religion. And no one can question it.

Here is another example. A few years ago a discussion was going on about MPD. In trying to defend the existence of mahaprayan, Dada Kalyaneshvarananda responded this is beyond logic and reasoning. By this way, unknowingly he accepted that MPD is a dogma.

The following are summaries in Hindi of Guru's teachings.
