Story: Do not worry over…
Note: The following story was recounted by Ac Rupatiitananda Avt on the occasion of Shravanii Purnima (Aug 2022). Dada ji is a very senior Wt who was initiated in 1969 and has been posted all over the globe.

The below incident took place when Dada Rupatiitananda ji was in Japan (Hong Kong sector). The story is recounted in the first-person so the “I” refers to Dada Rupatiitananda ji.

Shocked over adoption
When I heard the news that Baba had adopted Kimshuk as His son, I was annoyed and shocked that Baba did this. I thought, “Why is Baba adopting a son? Already there are so many Dadas, Didis, and margiis ready to do anything and die for Him, so then what was the need for Him to adopt a son.” Naturally, I did not express these thoughts to anyone as this type of talk is against the Guru. I just kept it all to myself, and my mind became completely disturbed. I could not do my meditation. About three or four months passed in this condition.

Avadhutas fight like cat & dog
After some time there was a call for RDS, and I traveled back to India to attend it. Upon my arrival, I dropped off some gifts and offerings from Japan at the Baba Quarters, and then I sat down outside of GS’s room. My mind was brooding, and I was deciding what to do. I was very annoyed with Baba. RDS was to begin tomorrow, and I would be the first one called, and I had no idea what Baba would do with me.
I sat there thinking for 30 to 40 minutes when suddenly two thoughts flashed in my mind. First, I thought, “Baba, what You have done is good.” Second, I was thinking that, “After Your physical departure, there will be a huge fight between all these avadhutas that are running around You. They will fight like a cat and a dog.”
Baba: “These are My problems”
At that same moment, GS Keshavananda came out and said, “What are you doing here, Baba is calling you”. I was shocked. I told him that Baba does not know that I am here and that I am due for reporting tomorrow. GS replied, “No, no no. I did not tell Baba that you were here. Baba told me that you were sitting here, and I should call you.”
So there was no alternative and I entered Baba's room. I was afraid to face Baba, just I was doing sastaunga pranam. I remained in sastaunga pranam for a long time. Finally, Baba said, “Get up.” I got up and as I looked towards Baba I could feel His mercy and kindness.
Then Baba lovingly asked me, “What are you thinking about? What is going on with you? These are not your problems. These are My problems. You do your work, and do not think about My problems with the organisation. Just you do your work.”

Follow TP & wear WT dress
I said, “Baba, I am posted in Hong Kong sector but I do not know Japanese or Korean, and my English is also not very good.”
Baba simply said, “Ok, what you have to do then is just get your TP (tour program) approved and follow it. And wherever you are, just put on your full dress (uniform) and move about in that locale. And the rest is My work; that is not your work. Your work is only to follow your TP, and I will do the rest. Do not worry about not knowing the language. Just move around, and do not remain idle - just move around.”
Hearing this, I became completely relaxed and was grateful for His supreme guidance and great blessing.

Reflection
The central theme of this story is that by following Guru’s directive then one is greatly benefited and one’s problems will be resolved. Sadguru Baba gave Dada ji certain specific instructions which Dada ji followed, and thereafter Dada ji did not suffer from that type of negative thinking anymore.

O’ my Supreme Entity, I have searched for You in the flower garden; and, I have looked for You in the canopy of my mind, in my mental abode. I have sought for You everywhere my Lord, and when I try to catch You through song after song, there remains a trace of that tune in my heart. It is Your grace. In this way my mind rushes towards You always.
O’ Parama Purusa, please tell me how I may get You, realise You. Please teach me sadhana, and show me the path to come to You. For ages after ages, I have been wandering around in hopes of finding You; but, that was all a waste of time. I could never hold You close in my heart. Baba, You are hiding in my mental mirror. Please come into the fold. Let my mind merge into You and become one with You.

Plagiary?
It is the accepted international standard and Baba's system not to copy another's work and publish it in your own way. Baba has given a very strict rule on plagiarism. Why is Baba against plagiarism or stealing someone's work? There are many reasons:
1) It is against the code of asteya (non-stealing).
2) Countless stories of bhaktas need to be published. But some do not want to do the hard work of compiling and writing these stories, so they just steal them from others. But new stories need to be told, otherwise so many unpublished stories of sadhakas will be lost and forgotten forever. So watch out for story thieves, and kindly help them not to steal by posting on social media in their own way.
