Mahaprayan of great margii

Baba

Mahaprayan of great margii

Namaskar,

It is with much sadness to share the news of the mahaprayan of Shrii Mukteshvar Buksrai ji. His mahaprayan occurred some hours ago at 4pm IST on 31 July 2018. Mukteshvar ji was a devoted and dedicated Ananda Margii from Palamu, Jharkhand, India. Mukteshvar ji was initiated into Ananda Marga sadhana in 1962 and was 84 years of age at the time of his mahaprayan.

Mukteshvar ji was a very generous, community-minded, and sincere bhakta. He was always involved in sadhana, service, and sacrifice, ever-ready and active in helping those in need and preaching the gospel of neo-humanism and the ideas of tantra yoga.

With his mahaprayan, the entire Ananda Marga society of the world, and certainly all local margiis of Palamu, and especially his laokik family members will deeply miss Shrii Mukteshvar ji. May we all take solace in the fact that our dear Muktesvhvar ji was a bhakta of Sadguru Baba. Certainly he will attain mukti or moksa, accordingly. Baba will lovingly bestow His infinite grace.

in Him,
Diindayal

Note: Alert for those cremating a dead body in India or Indian managed cremation homes around the world. Their custom is to put the burning fire /hot coals in the mouth of the deceased to initiate the burning of the body. This is prohibed in AMPS as it is uncivilised. So watch out do not allow this. If you are not careful they will end of doing it. Make them aware ahead of tim.

Ananda Marga Caryacarya states, "The practice of putting fire into the mouth of the dead body is repulsive, it should not be encouraged." (Caryacarya - 1, Disposal of the Dead Body)

~ In-depth study ~

We have seen that when somebody dies then in offering their condolences people say now Mr So-and-so is sitting on Baba's lap. On other occasions when telling a Baba story people also say, "Such and such person sat on Baba's lap." But these days the trend is that "sitting on Baba's lap" is used more in connection with death. And that causes some confusion in reader's mind. To unknot the situation please read below.

Dogma: if "on Baba's lap" only used for death

Here are quoted lines from recently posted emails on various forums, wherein the writer uses the phrase - "in Baba's lap" - with the occasion of death:
- "May Parama Purusa Baba accept her in HIS divine lap"

- "May his soul rest in the lap of our beloved BABA"

- "Now she is taking rest in Baba's Lap."

- "May Baba accept him in HIS divine lap....."

- "May he rest in HIS loving lap of eternity."

- "We are sure that Baba has taken him in His loving lap."

- "May his soul rest in Baba's lap forever."

- "Let her rest peacefully in Baba's Lap - which she always desired."

- "now he is in beloved Baba's lap"

- "May his soul get peaceful place in His lap"

- "He is now in Bábá's loving lap"

- "May Baba bless him with a seat in His lap."

- "May BABA accept him in HIS divine lap!"

- "May Baba take him in his eternal loving lap."

- "May his soul rest in peace taking shelter in Baba's lap."

- "Please keep him on Your lap forever."

- "We all collectively pray to Baba to take him on Baba's divine lap forever.”
All of the above lines are commonly written in eulogizing the deceased. These days mostly it is used in a eulogy and rarely used to recount one's intimate spiritual experiences - unfortunately. By this way, the phrase "in Baba's lap" is being misused and step by step the real meaning is being forgotten as now people more commonly use the phrase to eulogize those who have died, and much less so to express their inner feelings of bhakti. Unfortunately, the meaning and inner spirit of the phrase is getting lost.

Baba story: "sitting on Baba's lap"

Some time ago after dharmacakra, a senior margii was recounting his experiences of having dharma samiiksa with Baba. He said, "After being lovingly scolded by Baba for my wrongdoings, then He called me close and placed me on His lap - I remained there for some time soaking up His love - and He blessed me."

We all enjoyed hearing about his personal account with Baba during dharma samiiksa. When he finished telling his factual and historical event, there was a call for questions. Various people posed their queries. Towards the end, one new margii raised his hand and asked, "How did Baba bring you back to life?"

Everyone stared at the new margii in amazement. There was a look of astonishment all around - people were really shocked to hear him say this. The new sadhaka sensed that something was wrong He said very matter-of-factly, "I thought that sitting on Baba's Lap means that he (the margii) died - that is why I asked that question."

This was quite eye-opening for those of us in the room: Through our language and expression we had unknowingly taught someone to think that being on Baba's lap is the equivalent of death. Because it seems that nowadays people only use the phrase "Baba's lap" when a person has died, such as "Let him rest peacefully in Baba's lap", as if in order to sit on Baba’s lap one has to die. But that is false. Sincere sadhakas regularly sit on Baba’s lap in their meditation. It is His grace. It is just like a child need not die in order to sit on his father’s lap.

The idea is that this phrase - Baba's lap - has been linked with death due to extreme overuse. So for some time if sadhakas use this phrase exclusively for spiritual purposes, that will be best. The phrase, "sitting on Baba's lap", should not meet a similar fate. It should not lose its pure spiritual quality and just refer to one's death. That will be very negative.

Baba would bless bhaktas and place them on His lap

There are tens of thousands of recorded stories by sadhakas where they use the phrase, "on Baba's lap", when describing their experiences of being with Baba: He used to bless them and bring them on His lap. People should understand the deeply mystical value of this expression, and not just think that Baba's lap means death, i.e. that you can only sit on His lap at the time of death. Still today there are thousands of margiis walking this earth who sat in Baba's lap. And not only that, there are countless more sadhakas who were blessed by Baba in dreams and sadhana wherein they sat in His lap. And still today this deeply intimate experience is attainable by sadhakas, by His grace.

There are so many ways an aspirant can reach unto Baba's lap including in sadhana. That is the main idea that should be preserved. Sadhana is a spiritual practice and one can sit on Baba's lap in sadhana. We should make it cent-per-cent clear to one and all that the phrase, "sitting on Baba's lap", does not mean death.

"Mahaprayan" means death of mortals - confirm for yourself
from the Samsad Bengali-English Dictionary

Mahaprayan (Death): Many are aware that mahaprayan (death) is the common term used in India and especially in our Bengal to describe the death of any human being, even ordinary people. In that way, the obituary columns of the newspapers of Bengal regularly cite the mahaprayan (death) of various persons of society who died or passed away.

Some may get confused and wrongly think that the word 'mahaprayan' (death) is one extraordinarily term of bhakti to be used in association with Parama Purusa. But that is not at all the case. Rather to do so is only to undermine the eternal presence of Parama Purusa. That is why no bhaktas ever use the word 'mahaprayan' in reference to Lord Shiva or Lord Krsna. Because Lord Shiva and Lord Krsna exist eternally. Then there is no question of Their mahaprayan (death).

Baba is Parama Purusa so He is eternal and there is no question of His mahaprayan.

Here it should be known that the convention of an annual death day ceremony (i.e. shraddhainjali or mahaprayan) is a foundation of the Islamic tradition. Muslims are well known for this, and their approach of an annual death day ceremony was adopted by the leader of a particular group in AMPS. So no one should think that mahaprayan is some type of sacred event. It is done on the death day anniversary of Muslims.

And for those who need still more technical proof then all this can be clarified quite readily by referencing the dictionary. Specifically in the Samsad Bengali-English             dictionary 3rd edition on page 848. Checking there it will be confirmed that the word 'mahaprayan' means death. Which is why it is used to refer to the passing away of even common citizens. And that is the case in this letter also. The term mahaprayan means death and this is the ideal term for this purpose.

Mahaprayan is only for humans not for Sadguru

Here it should be qualified that there is both real mahaprayan and fake mahaprayan. Real mahaprayan marks the death of any ordinary human being, just like the aforesaid news. This is the proper use of the term: To note a person's departure from this earth. That is the meaning of the mahaprayan term and that is the standard way the term is used in Indian languages.

Then there is the fake, or so-called, or dogmatic mahaprayan. That is when certain vested interests try to apply the mahaprayan term to Parama Purusa. This is grossly inappropriate because when Parama Purusa Sadguru Baba is that Divine Entity who is beginningless and endless and resides always in our heart, then it is entirely wrong to proclaim that He is gone.

That is why rational margiis are protesting; because the Oct 21st program is so-called mahaprayan. So-called means that something is fake. Parama Purusa is eternal, thus for some vested interests to declare "mahaprayan of Parama Purusa" is nothing but so-called mahaprayan.

Mahaprayan only really happens in the case of human beings, not Parama Purusa. Those doing mahaprayan for Sadguru are hypocrites. On the one side in meditation they ask His grace thinking that He is ever-present, and on the other side they think that Baba has passed way. That is their hypocrisy.

Dharma samiiksa’ + 4 more

Baba

Dharma samiiksa’

Namaskar,

All-knowing Baba used to check the Sixteen Points of various workers and Lft's while taking report. This was His regular approach during all reporting sessions. And it  intensified during His grand program of Dharma Samiiksa ('79 - ‘80). Verily, this way of reporting continued right up through 1990 - where omniscient Baba was regularly checking how workers etc were following 16 Points, and especially the point of sadhana.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Baba's ways to guide Wts

Baba used to uncover how that particular Wt was not properly following 16 Points. The concerned worker was not doing all the lessons of sadhana; in result they could not get the necessary inspiration or sufficient energy to fulfill their social service responsibilities. Baba used to expose that worker’s hidden sins before all and show the right path. And by this way the Wt was greatly benefited and blessed by all-benevolent Sadguru Baba. Side by side, all got the guideline that sadhana is essential for properly serving suffering humanity.

So by dharma samiiksa and various reportings, everyone understood that by doing all the lessons of sadhana - one will always receive the requisite strength and inspiration to fulfill all their duties in life and serve the society. This much we all understood from Baba's reporting style those days.

What can be the cause downfall

So today when we see our organisation in a crisis situation it can be easily concluded that a major factor behind this downfall is that those at the helm - i.e. so-called central purodhas - are not properly following 16 Points. Most notably, certain Dadas are not doing their sadhana. Otherwise what can be the cause of the disarray, chaos, and divisions within the upper echelons of our organisation.

Consequently, when the standard of sadhana is down then everything goes in the wrong direction. To rectify this situation one has to  point out those not properly following 16 points. All margiis and Wts should keep watch on one another regarding who is and who is not properly following 16 Points.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Anyone can point out anyone

Here below Ananda Marga ideology clearly explains that each and every Ananda Margii - young or old, new or senior, family person or Wt - has the God-given right and allotted duty to point out other Ananda Margiis on Sixteen Points. So it is wrong to assume that only Wts can point out other Wts etc. Baba's decree is that anyone can point out anyone - even a new margii can point out a senior purodha if that purodha is not adhering to the tenets of Sixteen Points.

Ananda Marga ideology states, "Regarding the Sixteen Points, it was said that ácárya/ás or senior persons would see if you were observing them properly or not. Similarly, I gave a directive to all that they should keep watch on one another. No one will exempt anyone else regarding the Sixteen Points." (1)

Up till now some have been confused on this point. After reading Beloved Baba's directive, any and all confusion should be wiped away. Baba's mandate is extremely straight-forward.

Conclusion

When so-called central purodhas properly adhere to the tenets of Sixteen Points they will abandon groupism and follow universal human dharma. By that way our organisation will be cleaned and brought onto the right track. In this regard, every Ananda Margii must be vigilant and adhere to Sixteen Points and ensure others are also following Sixteen Points, especially those in leadership positions.

Make them shun bad habit by sweet or harsh words

Ananda Marga philosophy guides us, "From the social or human viewpoint, everybody has the right to correct the behaviour of everyone else. This is the birthright of every human being. No scholar can dispute the right of people to correct the shortcomings of those with whom they come in contact. The recognition of this right is indispensable for the health of society. " (2)

Ananda Marga philosophy teaches us, "The establishment of an ideal society depends on the mutual help of the members and their cooperative behaviour. This cooperative behaviour depends on the practice of the principles of Yama and Niyama; so, spiritual practices, especially the practice of Yama and Niyama, are the sound foundation of an ideal society...All Ananda Margis, when they see other Margis acting against the principles of Yama and Niyama, must make them shun this habit either by sweet or harsh words or by dealing even more strictly. Thus they will have to make the society strong. Henceforth I direct every Ananda Margi to keep strict vigilance on other Ananda Margi to make them practise the principles of Yama and Niyama." (3)

Caryacarya says, “If you find that the conduct of an individual is antisocial, you should try to reform his or her nature by resorting to whatever severe measures may be necessary. Remember, he or she is not your enemy, but his/her conduct is the enemy of your society." (4)

Up till now some have been confused on this point. After reading Beloved Baba's directive, any and all confusion should be wiped away. Baba's guideline is extremely straight-forward.

Spiritual yoga nidra, not stupor or slumber

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “Most of the hormones of the upper portion are consumed by the solar plexus, which is contiguous with the anáhata cakra. When the sudhárasa [bliss-causing hormones] emitted by the glands and sub-glands situated above the ájiṋá cakra are consumed in the ájiṋá cakra, the result is that the ájiṋá cakra is strongly affected by the high secretion of hormones brought about by sádhaná [spiritual practices] in that upper region, and consequently the irises of the eyes move upwards and a state of trance ensues. A pleasant drowsiness of tandrá [somnolence] mixed with nidrá [sleepiness] overcomes the eyes, and the person is immersed in a type of slumber of a subtle loka [realm]. This kind of yoga nidrá, bháva nidrá, adhyátma nidrá is known as hypnosis in English. Bear in mind that it has no connection with hypnotism or mesmerism. Hypnotism or mesmerism is outer-suggestion, while hypnosis is auto-suggestion.” (1)

Note: This does not refer to the type of sleep that occurs in sadhana when the surroundings are very warm etc. That is a tamasik state. In His above teaching, Sadguru Baba is talking about spiritual hypnosis. This is a very high stage that occurs when sadhana is very good. When one sits and experiences deep sadhana for an extended period then their whole existence becomes calm. After sadhana they will not like to talk with anyone or do anything mundane etc, and their mantra will go on effortlessly even when walking around etc. They will not even like to have their eyes open. This is a higher stage of sadhana. That is what Baba is describing in the above teaching.

This is known as spiritual drowsiness or spiritual intoxication - not sleep in the worldly sense. Sincere sadhakas experience this. To attain this stance one must do longer sadhana. Sitting in an isolated place is also very helpful. Then, by Guru’s grace, within a short period one can realise this. And they will see that this type of spiritual hypnosis will last for a long time - i.e. the whole day. A soothing blissful feeling will permeate their whole entire existence.

in Him,
Arvind

How to make your child greedy + 5 more

Baba

How to make your child greedy

Namaskar,

In the general society, there are three main ways that parents and educators force learning upon today's children:
(a) Offer students money and gifts for studying and achieving academic attainment;
(b) Punish students in various ways if they do not study by employing fear tactics or taking away their favourite food and dessert etc;
(c) Give the allurement of prestige, professional status, or guarantee a bright future.

These are the common ways that parents and educators pressure or force students to study.

But, according to Baba, this is not the way to motivate students. This notion of pressuring them to study creates bad habits that will carry on throughout their life, in all realms of existence. The inability of the present system of education in materialistic countries to harness a child's desire to learn is then capitalised on by the mass media and corporate institutions.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

How big business steps in

Big business, advertisers, the television and film industry - along with so many pillars of the pseudo-culture world - understand well that children have an inherent desire to learn. When the schools fail to harness this desire, these businesses, marketers, & the media jump in and fill the gap. Big business employs crafty and psychological methods to arouse a thirst of learning within students to learn about their own products, while education fails to develop a thirst for true knowledge.

In turn, kids and students memorise commercials, advertisements and become living and breathing advocates of those brands etc. And not only that, those kids become faithful customers and their families spend huge sums of money buying those products and paying for that type of entertainment. Along the way, the school system fails to instill within students a desire to learn classical knowledge and practical skills. This misstep by education gets converted into a "boon" for big business. Youths become active followers of corporate brands and pop media, and simultaneously they disregard their formal education.

So it is a complete switchover. The present system of education fails to inspire children to learn and instead forces them and offers monetary incentives. In the end, the students have no real interest and ultimately forget what they were taught. They cannot retain their classroom knowledge. Whereas, marketers and corporations successfully goad children to learn everything about their films, pop songs, slogans, video games, logos, and more. Businesses awaken a thirst within children to learn about their company products, and they need not directly pay any money to children. They learn about it on their own and retain all that information.

The whole scene is backwards. Education fails to awaken a thirst for knowledge and fails to teach children what should be taught; while, businesses inspire children to learn about their company brand and their pseudo-culture gimmicks and gadgets.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Baba's guidelines on the role of education

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "Education must awaken the thirst for knowledge in the students’ minds. The students themselves will create environmental pressure by persistent demands for answers to queries like: What is the answer? Is it correct? The longing, “I wish to know...I wish to understand and assimilate the entire universe” should be created. Such a thirst for knowledge should be created in the minds of students...So a tremendous thirst for knowledge must be awakened in the students’ minds. They will constantly pry their teachers, their parents and their neighbours with questions like: Why is this so? What is that? Why does that happen? Why does this not happen? etc. They are ready to assimilate the entire universe." (1)

Baba says, "Society will gain no lasting benefit if teachers force students to swallow knowledge like quinine pills instead of awakening the thirst for knowledge in the minds of young children, or for that matter in the mind of any student." (2)

Thus, it is the job of parents and educators to awaken that thirst for knowledge through story, queries, or other ways that interest and challenge the child. That will create hunger to learn in which case then the real learning process will start. This should be done by parents, family members, caretakers, teachers, and general citizens - all are involved in raising the child.

If you give kids money as a means of motivating them to study, that type of psychology will spill over to other arenas of life. The day their mother is sick, they will only go to the store to get medicine if they get paid handsomely by their sick mother. So this idea of paying students to study will just make them spoiled and indulgent. It will wipe out their ability to grow into idealistic, sacrificing, and socially responsible human beings. Because when they are young is the time to teach them these core values, but those are not inculcated. Instead, parents train them with monetary incentives. So children adopt materialistic, business relations as their ideal. In that case, everything is done for monetary return, and they are never given the chance to cultivate an inner drive to help and serve others.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Here is another off-shoot to this problem that abounds based on this same formula:
  • - Some parents in the US give money to kids to do house chores.
  • - But it is not at all good to create this type of business relation - rather it is most harmful.
  • - It sets the tone that children merely have a business relation with their family members and the greater society.
  • - If this continues then they never develop a sense of duty or responsibility. They think that everything is a commercial transaction. They completely miss out on the ideals of familial and loving relations.

Personal story

I can never forget the poignant account that I heard from a friend. He had fallen in his own home and could not get up - his ankle was twisted and broken. So he asked his 9-year-old son to bring the walking stick that was 20 feet away in the corner. The boy just looked at his father and said, "If you give me ten dollars then I will bring you the stick." The father ended up lying there on the floor in his helpless condition for two hours because he did not have cash to give to his son. It was only when his wife returned home that he could get up. When I heard this from my friend (i.e. the father), I was aghast. I thought what kind of children are we raising nowadays.

No doubt giving money to do chores or homework is a quick-fix for the immediate future or short-term. But over the long haul, by this way, children lose the opportunity to develop an inner sweetness and feelings of sacrifice. They become creatures of materialism - not human beings. They do everything for the dollar and never cultivate refined human sentiments and characteristics. All because that is how their parents trained them when they were young.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Conclusion

We should adhere to Baba's mandate and awaken within children a thirst for knowledge and a sense of duty.

Prout philosophy states, "The thirst for knowledge will have to be awakened among students, and reverence, devotion, orderliness and discipline will have to be taught as well." (3)

Here below in so many ways Baba guides us that we are to awaken and support a child's development by nurturing their inherent thirst for knowledge

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "How many teachers try to awaken a genuine thirst for knowledge in their students?" (4)

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "Students go to school and sit for examinations in order to pass. Examiners should bear this fact in mind. They should not adopt the rigid position that “Only such-and-such percentage of students will be allowed to pass.” Examiners should take into account only the range of knowledge and the extent of the thirst for knowledge the students possess." (5)

at His lotus feet,

Forcing students to study does not work

Here is Baba's teaching that employing fear tactics to force children to study is a defective approach. Rather it is important to cultivate a genuine desire to learn.

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "It is improper to extort anything from students through undue pressure and intimidation. Intimidation appears to work to some extent, but it does not yield lasting results. Whatever students learn from their parents and teachers out of fear fades into oblivion as soon as the agencies of fear disappear. The reason is that their learning and their fear were inseparably associated, so with the disappearance of fear, the knowledge that they had acquired in the course of their education also disappears from the more developed parts of their minds. As soon as the bullying teacher leaves the classroom the students heave a sigh of relief. Within a few hours, whatever they had committed to memory starts growing hazy. Out of fear of failing their examinations students work hard, poring over books, and accomplish ten days’ work in one hour. But after completing their examinations and playing a game of football or visiting the cinema, they forget much of what they had learned, due to the absence of fear."
"People in many countries throughout the world are painfully experiencing the detrimental effects of education through the medium of fear. Most educated people lose the abilities they acquired through education after they graduate from school or university and enter their field of work. If I were to assess the value of the education these people received, I would say that most of their time, ability and labour had been wasted or had been spent meaninglessly."
"So as I was saying, it will not do to impart education through intimidation. A thirst for knowledge must be awakened, and, to quench that thirst, proper education must be given. Only then will education be worthwhile and develop the body, mind and ideals of the student." (6)

Ideal way to teach young children

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "Children are by nature most inclined towards play, so a thirst for knowledge will have to be awakened in children through the medium of play – children should be educated through play methods. Children are also by nature inclined to listen to fantasies and stories. Through stories children can easily be taught the history and geography of various countries, and they may also be taught the initial lessons of how to practise universalism in their lives. Children love play and stories almost equally, so in their case the two should be equally utilized." (7)

Best way to teach adolescents

Ananda Marga philosophy guides us, "The dream of the future first crystallizes in the mind of the adolescent. So adolescents should be taught, without indulging in narrow-mindedness, through the medium of idealism. The minds of young adults are, however, somewhat inclined towards realism, so in their case pure idealism will not suffice. In order to educate such young adults, a harmonious blend of idealism and realism is required." (8)

Teacher must have affection towards student of all ages

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "Teachers must bear in mind that their students – whether adolescents, youths, old people or actual children – are, to them, all just children of different ages; and that they themselves are children like their students. If teachers distance themselves from their students or continually try to maintain a forced gravity, they will not be able to establish sweet, cordial relations with their students. The free and frank exchange of ideas is simply not possible unless a feeling of mutual affection is established. The lack of cordial relations causes many children to heartily wish for the death of either their severe teachers or their abusive parents." (9)

Searching You in tomb and jagritis

"Tiirthe tomáre khunjiá páiini,gáne dharivár prayás kori..." (Prabhat Samgiita #4874)

Purport:

O' Parama Purusa, I searched for You in different so-called holy places but I utterly failed to find You. My whole approach was meaningless, a waste of time, and was based on dogma and ignorance. I was just indulged in lies and hypocrisy. That is why I was met with failure and could not succeed in getting You. By Your grace, now I am returning back on the path of satya, eternal truth. I am trying to reach You through Prabhat Samgiita, spiritual songs, dance, and kiirtana.

Baba, I heard that You remain in Your heavenly abode, satya loka, while I lie in the deepest, darkest depths at the bottom of the underworld, drowned in all kinds of vices, dogmas, and groupism. I declared You as dead. I thought that with the virtue of attending so-called MPD annual death ceremony annually in October I will get Your blessings. I thought I could have Your close proximity by my ritualistic pújá, dogmatic arcaná, offering of sweets, and dakśińá money to the priest wts, giving black money to ‘big dadas’. I believed by this way I would get punya. But instead it was all for naught.

O' the Supreme Entity, Baba, I thought You resided very far away. That’s why I was not getting You. I was thinking that You are not within my reach. Now I am trying hard to dye my mind in Your colour. Baba, Your cosmic attractive force is not pulling me. I don’t feel You drawing me near. To get You I have started doing my part - japa, dhyana, sadhana pranayama etc. I feel I will receive Your grace...

Notes for Prabhat Samgiita #4874:

[1] Ritualistic puja: Any type of worship that involves praying and making offerings to an idol, going to tiirthas, singing hymns to the idol etc

[2] Arcana: Any worship done with external paraphernalia or worldly offering such as flowers, sandalwood., colours etc.  Some dogmatic Hindu worshipers collect physical articles, lamps, and flowers and do certain rituals to honour and call the Lord. That is arcana. In our Ananda Marga that physical, external, and ritualistic approach does not belong.

And Baba tells us, "The type of worship which is performed with selfish motive and external paraphernalia is called arca or arcana." (1)

[3] Daksina: Offering in cash and kind (sweets, money) made to the dogmatic priest.

Re: Pseudo-margii

Namaskar
Brother Vrajendra needs to be cloned.
Superstition and attachment to religious craziness cripples the mind and darkens the heart.
Most all religions are not accepting of others. Those religions with a book last longer than those who do not .
Case in point : How many followers of Zoroaster are there? Zoroastrianism has no book. But scriptures written as allegories can encourage ...but also hamper progress increasing fundamentalism and extreme dogmas. My God is the only God your God is no God. My book is the only book yours is no book
Most scriptures are a lot of "moldy worm eaten papyrus "
Taking down our ego umbrella is required for surrender and will immediately impart a devotional heart. As human beings we must sit down and agree what is logical and what is not...under one vast blue sky ..

Sadhana is human life

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "So humans were created only to do sadhana and attain emancipation. Those who do not do sadhana for their mukti (emancipation)
even though they were created for this purpose, go against the wishes of the Supreme Entity. They defeat the very purpose of the creation of human
beings." (1)
