Way to save from incontinence

Through the use of water after urination, i.e. point #1 of Sixteen Points, the body is properly maintained. The cooling effect of the cold water gives many long-term benefits and prevents diseases related with that area of the body.

(A) Enhanced Circulation: By slowly pouring cold water then the blood quickly rushes from that area and new oxygenated blood from the heart and lungs comes delivering vital nutrients. This exchange of blood brings health to the region.

(B) Bladder Stones: When excess urine remains in the bladder there is the possibility for that to crystallize and form stones that can completely block the urinary tract. By slowly pouring a sufficient amount of cold water after urination, then all the urine is released from the body and there is no possibility for the formation of bladder stones.

(C) Mind Reaches to Higher Cakras: When the lower cakras are active the mind remains in that spot - it will not rise up. Using cold water slowly regularly strengthens the nerves and nerve fibers related with that cakra. In that case, that cakra will be controlled and the mind will no longer be bound to that spot. So it will naturally rise up to the higher cakras.

(D) Prostate Glands and Testes: They get revitalised by the use of cold water.  This prevents all kinds of serious diseases like  cancer from forming in that area.

Anyone already suffering from any of the aforementioned problems should do cold water treatments regularly to recondition and rehabilitate the nerves, muscles and organs of that area.

(E) Incontinence: The valve associated with urination is voluntary. When the brain gives the order then the valve will either hold or release the urine. But when the muscles around that valve weaken, then the valve is unable to properly control the flow of urine. In that state, a person suffers from constant dripping and incontinence. By pouring cold water regularly after the time of urination, then oxygenated blood will properly maintain and strengthen those muscles, thereby preventing this disease.

Sadhakas however will not suffer from those common diseases and ailments that adversely affect non-margiis at the age of 45 - 60+, whereby they cannot control the flow of urine from the body. In which case they experience drops or a drip from the urinary organ throughout the day and are forced to use a diaper. But such health issues will not happen to sadhakas who sincerely observe point #1 of 16 points.

So we should pursue and practice this first point as sincerely as possible by using slowly a full liter of cold water to cleanse the urinary organ and surrounding area. Our overall aim should be to cleanse properly and thoroughly using a full liter of cold water after urination.

Slowly apply ample cold water on entire region


Generally, people are particular about cleaning their backside with an ample amount of water (see note 1), but not their front side. By making this practice of using a full liter after urination an ingrained habit then that will bring so many health and psychic benefits.

The best way to make it a habit is to fortify oneself with proper logic and reasoning. For instance, if one knows that dancing kaoshikii and tandava regularly will prevent Alzheimer's disease, then one will be more inclined to practice those dances. And if one is not aware of this point then they may not do those dances regularly.

Similarly, by educating oneself of the benefits of slowly applying a sufficient amount of cold water at the time of urination, then they will be more apt to make this a proper habit in life.

And many other benefits will come from properly following this initial guideline. The key factor for deriving all these benefits is to slowly apply an ample amount of cold water on the entire genital region during & after the time of urination. Putting one or two drops on the organ will not do; rather that will be one superficial ritual only.

If your conduct is good, dharma is with you


Ananda Marga ideology states, “Ácárańát dharmah, that is, “Dharma is the assemblage of all your conduct” – the way you eat, the way you speak, the way you perform sádhaná. If your conduct is good, dharma is with you; if your conduct is not good, dharma is not with you. And if dharma is not with you, what comes about is your sarvanásha, or sarvátmaka vinásha – that is, your physical, mental, and spiritual ruin.” (1)

Note 1: About cleaning the backside


Generally, people are particular about cleaning their backside, but non-margiis in the west are deficient in this regard as they resort to blotting paper (aka toilet paper). By this approach they are unable to properly clean that area. Thus they remain dirty - inviting poor hygiene, germs, and disease. Unfortunately, as materialistic lifestyles spread around the globe, people are adopting this faulty practice.

Parama Purusa, You came in Cimmerian darkness and filled the universe with the illumination of bhakti. Society was in a state of deep slumber and there was extreme blackness of dogma all around. You came and filled this cosmos with Your exquisite effulgence of universal love. Baba, You created the vibration and established dharma. Now society is moving towards Parama Purusa.

My Cosmic Entity, in the rhythmic waves, You filled everything with melodies. In the past people did not have sentient songs, ballads, or tunes; they did not even know how to speak properly. You gave us everything: a new language and a meaningful voice. You made the lotus of every heart bloom and smile vibrantly on this dusty earth. 

Baba, Your coming here in this mortal world is Your divine karuńá. You have filled the mental sky with the colour of spiritual yearning and made everything radiant. Whether small, big, meager or vast, all started dancing in the soft breeze with flow of bhakti due to Your august arrival.

Baba, this entire creation is filled with Your brilliance; it is Your grace...

Taraka Brahma vs Maha'kaola

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "A Maha'kaola is one who makes others kaola by his infallible spiritual guidance. But Ta'raka Brahma is a different Entity, a unique Entity for He is the spiritual preceptor, social preceptor, Kaola, and Maha'kaola, all in one. He is also something more: He acts as a compass in every stratum of society." (1)

Note: In tantra, Brahma is the Guru. And when Brahma makes use of a human framework and bridges the divide between Saguna Brahma and Nirguna Brahma, He is known as Taraka Brahma. Only Taraka Brahma can perfectly guide the spiritual aspirant and the entire society in all realms of life. Marga Guru Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji is the Taraka Brahma. Those who adhere to the path of His teachings of Ananda Marga and are strict in Sixteen Points are truly blessed. Taraka Brahma is greater than Maha'kaola.

Wolfish ways of capitalism

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “What a dangerous outlook! What a rosy philosophy of capitalism! God save humanity from such perverted philosophy. Man’s desire for worldly pleasure does not cease until he finds a really great ideal. His hunger is insatiable. The wolf in him seems to say over and over again, “I am hungry, I am hungry.” His mouth is agape all the time and the fools of the earth, resigned to their belief in predestination, are swallowed by it. These wolves eat up their flesh and blood and cast away their insipid bones. Are we to support this wolfish philosophy? The dirty-clothed laborers, their faces lined with hard labor and fatigue, are not human beings in the eyes of those who have Mammon by their side. The characteristic of a vested interest is that it has no other thought but itself. The selfish man is the eater, the others are his food. His needs are never-ending. Out of his salary the poor man has to pay his house rent, support his family, educate his children, provide milk for his baby, marry his daughters. Are those necessities only for the people of the upper classes? Are these not the minimum necessities of life? Yes, but these thoughts of the poor are no concern of the rich! Such thinking involves some sacrifice, does it not? From where would objects of luxury for the rich come, if hunger were not the hard task-master of the poor? Let the daughters of the poor collect cow-dung forever and their sons be slaves in the households of the rich. What a fine arrangement! The high hopes of the poor?–pooh! pooh!! Aren’t they all moonshine?”

“No two things in the world are alike. So I do not suggest recasting everything into one mold. Still, for humanism and justice, equitable distribution of the resources of the universe is indispensable; co-ownership of the world’s resources is the birthright of every individual. Even a small attempt at depriving someone of this right is gross selfishness. Except when a special favor becomes necessary to give certain individuals impetus and inspiration, all persons must be given equal rights and opportunities in all spheres. Every individual must have equal rights regarding food, clothing, housing, medical aid and education — those things that are absolutely necessary for existence.” (1)
