Cowards vs brave

Note: This letter is only for those who have reverence for Sadguru Baba Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji and try to follow His Ananda Marga ideology.

Namaskar,

According to Ananda Marga philosophy, every citizen has the right to point out defective leaders. It is a necessary and effective way to keep society free from exploitation etc. So, every human has the moral right to bring to light the defects of those in power.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Ananda Marga ideology states, "From the social or human viewpoint, everybody has the right to correct the behaviour of everyone else. This is the birthright of every human being.” (1)

Religious followers keep mum

Those raised under the shelter of some religions have been coloured by the dogma of that religion. They mistakenly think that you cannot judge anybody or raise their voice about anything, regardless of the circumstances. And then there are others who are confused and think that: The common people cannot protest against corrupt leaders. The above stipulation stems from a confused and faulty mentality. When exploitation rears its head, then anyone and everyone should cry out loudly.

Ananda Marga ideology states, "All Ananda Margis, when they see other Margis acting against the principles of Yama and Niyama, must make them shun this habit either by sweet or harsh words or by dealing even more strictly. Thus they will have to make the society strong. Henceforth I direct every Ananda Margi to keep strict vigilance on other Ananda Margi to make them practise the principles of Yama and Niyama." (2)

All have right to point out corrupt leaders

The way of thinking in Ananda Marga is revolutionary whereby society is to be run and governed by moralists and sadvipras who wield enormous power for the welfare of collective humanity. And the following points are inherent to this system:

(a) Those holding higher responsibility / social post must be of a superlative character.

(b) The public can accuse any leader of wrongdoing. No one should think that they do not have the right to point out corrupt or faulty leaders because, "I myself am not up to that moral standard."

Conclusion

The teachings of Ananda Marga are the ideal recipe for building up a healthy human society. Sadguru Baba has empowered each and every citizen with a voice to point out the wrongdoings, and by this way the society becomes strong. This is a completely new and revolutionary approach. In the past, the exploited masses had no right or scope to speak out; in result, the injustices multiplied and society spiraled downward. In our own organisation, Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha, we should be cent-per-cent vigilant to point out injustices and immoral conduct, especially by the leaders. This is the only method to ensure our AMPS becomes a shining example of the sublime teachings of Ananda Marga ideology.

Pointing out is birthright of every human being

(a) The public has a moral right to point out leaders on any rule - regardless of their own standard of conduct - because according to Prout philosophy and the teachings of Ananda Marga, every leader must be of superlative character in order to hold a position.

(b) Everybody has the right to correct the behaviour of everyone else.

Ananda Marga ideology states, “Only those who are established in Yama and Niyama [moral code] and practise sádhaná can be given any responsibility.” (3)

Ananda Marga ideology states, “Those who have the responsibility to show the path to others should be of superlative character with the most refined conduct.” (4)

Ananda Marga ideology states, "From the social or human viewpoint, everybody has the right to correct the behaviour of everyone else. This is the birthright of every human being. No scholar can dispute the right of people to correct the shortcomings of those with whom they come in contact. The recognition of this right is indispensable for the health of society. " (5)

Way to point out

Ananda Marga ideology states, "If you find that the conduct of an individual is antisocial, you should try to reform his or her nature by resorting to whatever severe measures may be necessary. Remember, he or she is not your enemy, but his/her conduct is the enemy of your society." (6)

Ananda Marga ideology states, "All Ananda Margis, when they see other Margis acting against the principles of Yama and Niyama, must make them shun this habit either by sweet or harsh words or by dealing even more strictly. Thus they will have to make the society strong. Henceforth I direct every Ananda Margi to keep strict vigilance on other Ananda Margi to make them practise the principles of Yama and Niyama." (7)

Ananda Marga ideology states, "Regarding the Sixteen Points, it was said that ácárya/ás or senior persons would see if you were observing them properly or not. Similarly, I gave a directive to all that they should keep watch on one another. No one will exempt anyone else regarding the Sixteen Points." (8)

Meek & goody-goody nature are not good people

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “To willingly subject oneself to humiliation without protest, to tolerate injustice and accept all the agonies of exploitation as divine providence without resistance, is not the mark of a good person. The characteristic of good people is to fight against injustice, to firmly adhere to truth and righteousness, to protect the helpless and fight against all evil persons. Those who are merely simple and are of a meek and goody-goody nature are not good people.” (9)

If a Wt is drinking nicotine tea, then the margii should not think that, “I cannot accuse that Wt because I am also drinking nicotine tea.” Rather, that margii has the right to point out that Wt.

No one is as sweet & loving as You

“Bandhu...ye va toma'ya bale kat'hora...
Ka'che ele bujhebe se jana, Sujana toma'ra mata keha na'i…” (Prabhat Samgiita #0268)

Purport:

O’ Parama Purusa, my Bandhu, I won't ever be fearful of Your harshness. During the journey on this path of divine effulgence I will go on looking towards You. You are my everything.

Baba, those who say that You are not kind do not understand Your greatness. The reality is that Your harshness is covering Your heavenly softness.

Baba whoever tells You are unkind remains far away from You. If that person comes close, they will understand that no one else is as tender and charming as You. No one is as sweet and loving as You...

When to be tolerant

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "Human beings will have to practise tolerance. But this spirit of tolerance must be developed only in individual life; in collective life it must not be expressed. If a country illegally grabs even one inch of your land you must take one mile of the aggressor’s land; no spirit of tolerance in this regard is permissible. If you show your tolerance then they will take one inch today and one mile tomorrow. However, you can practise toleration as much as possible in individual life, and that will be considered a sign of greatness." (1)

How capitalists sell fate

Prout philosophy states, “Whatever dignity a person possesses as a human being in either the Kśatriya Age or the Vipra Age is dealt its heaviest blow in the Vaeshya Age. In the Vaeshya Age a person's dignity is measured in terms of money. The repercussions of this defective evaluation of human beings are not confined only to the realm of dignity; they have far-reaching effects in all spheres of society.” (1)

Prout philosophy states, “In the Vaeshya Age this religious exploitation is more psychic than physical, because the vaeshyas use the vipras to try to spread intellectual propaganda among the masses to prevent them from finding any philosophical justification for their suppressed grievances against the vaeshya structure. This intellectual propaganda aims to convince people that they are the victims of circumstance. It argues, “Everything is destiny. Everything is preordained.” Such doctrines help the vaeshyas to perpetuate their structure. They destroy the personal force of people and make them the playthings of fate. People accept the idea that everything is preordained, and support the status quo.” (2)

बाबा ! परम पुरुष, तुम  मेरे अंतरंग

“Káche ese bhálobese more tumi gecho je bhúle…” (Prabhat Samgiita #2278)

When people become beasts

Ananda Marga ideology states, “If there is a dearth of intellectual pabulum and the intellectual standard of the people is not high, they can take “dos” to be “donts” and vice versa. Take for example, a communal riot where a little innocent boy is killed, and when the person who encourages the riot becomes the people’s leader. Where the intellectual standard of the people is low, people commit blunders – prompted by such leaders they become beasts. Those backward countries which have less socio-politico-economic consciousness in the people tend to have more immorality. In such countries the leaders misguide the people in order to collect votes. I call such leaders “political satans” or “political pigs” Such pigs become leaders only when the intellectual standard of the common people is low. In a country with shortages of physical and intellectual pabula, people ultimately become beasts and commit sins and crimes. To murder a person during a riot is both a crime and a sin. In political clashes innocent people are killed. This is also a crime as well as a sin. So, to summarize, when physical and intellectual pabula are lacking, people become beasts and commit sins and crimes. Among the three reasons for sin, this is the first and primary one. It is prevalent everywhere in the world although it is less evident in a few of the more affluent countries.” (1)

How lowly gurus try to enhance their prestige

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "There is a secret technique to raise this serpentine coil. Previously this technique was not clearly given. At that time some people thought it proper to keep it secret. If something harmful to individual or collective life is not given, that is good; but the useful things have to be given. People will be more attracted to do sádhaná."

"The first thing is that this kulakuńd́alinii rises slowly from the múládhára cakra to the sahasrára cakra in eight steps, it passes through eight cakras, and the sahasrára cakra is the ninth. Just below the  sahasrára cakra is the guru cakra. When one meditates at the guru cakra, the kuńd́alinii takes one jump upwards, and the mind goes to the other side of the cakra [i.e., to the sahasrára.] This is the technique of sádhaná, but it has previously neither been explained nor written in books."

"The kulakuńd́alinii rises upward in eight jumps or phases, so with two syllables in a siddha mantra, the kuńd́alinii will jump four times. But a general, or publicly-given, siddha mantra will make the kulakuńd́alinii jump eight times or in eight phases. That is why such a siddha mantra has eight syllables. So you should understand that a proper kiirtana must have eight syllables, never seven or nine syllables." (1)

Note 1: The prevailing dogma in the past in India was that so-called gurus did not want to share all of their knowledge or reveal all of their techniques to their disciples. Those dogmatic gurus were thinking they should keep something 'special' for themselves, otherwise their prestige and own value will be lost. So they withheld certain key teachings and ultimately died with those special techniques.

In that case, their disciples only got 99% or so of what the guru had - not everything, not that last 1%. Gradually, then from one generation to the next, 1% kept getting withheld until finally everything was  completely lost.

And now in places like India in the name of spirituality, only dogma is left. This is why the withholding of vital information is very negative. This applies to other fields as well such as medicine, law, chemistry, physics etc. Unfortunately, this same type of withholding of information occurs in many fields. All done by selfish people to "enhance" their own prestige. When, in truth, it undermines their greatness. This dogmatic and defective way must be stopped.

Note 2: Baba has given the idea in Namah Shivaya Shantaya that when one gets proper students who are eager and capable, then in that case tell them everything. Do not withhold any information or keep anything secret. That will be a disservice to the society.

Warn others about fake yoga

Ananda Marga ideology says, "Suppose, one is a great Yogii but if there is no love for his goal, then those suspended propensities will finally be converted into crude matter. That is, the subtle human existence becomes like iron; it becomes like wood; it becomes like sand. What a deterioration! What a downfall! This particular type of yoga where a yogii does not bear love for the Supreme Entity is called 'Hatha Yoga' in Samskrta. It is dangerous for human elevation." (1)

Note: Nowadays, all around the globe and especially in the west, in the name of teaching yoga certain pseudo-yoga people are becoming entrepreneurs and selling their unholy ways to the public by opening so-called yoga and meditation centres. But in those places, they do not do bhakti yoga; theirs is not a God-centered approach. Rather they teach bogus lessons such as misguided pranayama etc. Sadly, when the goal is not Parama Purusa then that type of fake yoga, meditation, and pranayama ultimately bring terrible degeneration. Neither is the unassuming public aware nor do these culprits realise what dangers they are inviting. It is our duty as far as possible to warn everyone for their welfare.

How ghost is manufactured

Ananda Marga philosopohy states, “In a dream, due to the dormant state of kámamaya kośa, the thought-vibrations of manomaya kośa appear real (this we call a dream when we wake up). When, due to extreme fear, stupefaction, crudity, or an excessive expression of any ripu or pásha, the kámamaya becomes temporarily suspended in the next higher kośa and the imagined objects appear real. This is also the case when a person sees various gods and goddesses. Psychologically, seeing a ghost, god or goddess is the same thing; none of them actually exist.”

“When hypnotized by someone, a person starts perceiving things as per the commands of the hypnotist. In this state, when the kámamaya is dormant a person feels that his/her imagined objects are real. Often, weak-minded people see ghosts, gods or goddesses of relatives. Such visions are auto- or outer-positive-hallucinations. Conversely, when people declare the absence of things which are actually present, it is called auto- or outer-negative-hallucination.”

“This clarifies that those who emphatically claim that they have seen ghosts are not wrong. It is due to the illusions of the negative or positive hallucinations that they see these things.”
