Who is great in true sense

Baba says, "Who is mahat (great), who is maha'na (great), about this it has been said, 'paropaka'rat mahat', or those who are serving others. They are called mahat. Those who have studied volumes of books, or those who accumulated huge wealth, those who have a prestigious family heritage, good reputation in the society, all these things are there, etc even then they cannot be great if they do not serve others." "Those who are serving others, they are mahat, great. To do social service huge money is not needed. Whatever strength you have at present in your hand, utilise that to serve others. If body is strong physically then serve with physical body, and if you have money then serve with your money, if you have intellect then do with intellect, if you have courage then do with that, if you do not have anything then you do by your good thoughts and well-wishing. Human beings become great by serving others. But where there is not service they become low and mean. They become meager." (1)

Now there is no one whom I feel is alien; everyone is mine, my own

Purport:

Now, after such a long time, the cimmerian darkness has finally disappeared; and, the crimson dawn is smiling today. In my mental plate, in my mind’s mirror, His divine effulgence is emanating with the expression of His divine love. In my mind, the particles of His divine love are buoyant.

Now there is no one whom I feel is alien; everyone is mine, my own. This entire universe - flora and fauna - everything is filled with the feeling of being part of my own vast cosmic family. Amongst this entire world, throughout this mobile and immobile universe, I only see Him in my heart and soul’s firmament. He is Parama Purusa Baba. This creation is nothing but His divine play.

In order to get Him (Parama Purusa), I do not go to any “holy land”, Ananda Nagar, Tiljala Tomb tiirtha, Jamalpur, Varanasi, Rameshwaram, Puri, or Kailash etc. Neither do I go to Bodhgaya, Mecca, Rome, Jerusalem, or any other external place in search of Him, Parama Purusa. And I also do not observe any external, dogmatic rituals or penance such as idol worship, deity puja, dogmatic “holy dips” in river Ganges, namaz, prayer, nature worship, or  any other dogmatic offering like animal sacrifice etc to get His blessing. Nor do I go to any temples - neither Buddha, nor Jain, nor Hindu, Gurudwara, mosque, church, nor any synagogue etc - to attain realization of God. I do not go to any such places in order to get Him & have His grace. I just love Him in the deep corner of my mind through shravana, manana, niddidhyasana [1], kiirtana, bhajana, dhyana japa, etc. He always resides in my mental lotus in Guru cakra. By His grace I feel His attraction & love. I only yearn to become one with Him…

Note for Prabhat Samgiita #2340

[1] Shravan, Manan, Niddhidhyasana: Here below Baba explains the great import of these three devotional practices.

Baba says, "To attain Him human beings have to take recourse to shravana (constantly hearing His name), manana (constantly ideating on Him) and nididya'sana (constantly meditating on Him). The Supreme Entity is Gurha, that is, He is lying hidden in the innermost recess of the human entity. To attain Him one must penetrate deep within oneself, and for that the development of an introversial outlook is essential." (1)

Find out what is the highest truth - Ananda Vanii #68

Ananda Vanii states, "The first and the final word of manifestation is mobility or dynamicity. Just as movement has no cessation, the path of movement also has no end. In this very movement lies the happy union between eternal ethics and the ageless supra-sensory realization – their centripetal affinity. It is not enough for a person to merely understand and abide by the truth, rather it must be translated into reality in the practical lives of living beings. With the greatest fulfilment in buds, flowers and fruits, each and every life must be made effulgent. Everyone should be made to realize that in the path of movement the Supreme fulfilment is the highest truth." (1)

Note 1: The above is one of Baba’s original Ananda Vaniis. These original and true Ananda Vaniis are unique, eternal guidelines that stand as complete discourses in and of themselves. They are unlike Fake Ananda Vaniis.
