Sharing heartfelt feeling: role of PS + 5 more

Sharing heartfelt feeling: role of PS

Namaskar,

We have to remember that sadhana does not mean samadhi. Sadhana means 'effort'. With a sincere and concerted effort, the sadhaka can create an inner link with Parama Purusa based on bhakti. That is how one can form a bond of love with Him, by His grace. And our sadhana system includes not just the practice of meditation, but kiirtan and Prabhat Samgiita as well. All three are important.

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "Do meditation, do kiirtan and bhajan sincerely." (1)

So all three - sadhana, kiirtan, and Prabhat Samgiita - are essential in developing an inner link and relation based on bhakti with Parama Purusa. And this letter discusses how Prabhat Samgiita plays a unique and special role in this process.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Select a PS that corresponds to your feeling

When selecting a bhajan we should choose a given song for the right reason. We should not pick a Prabhat Samgiita based on the tune, or the melody, or the quality of the singer's voice. For sadhakas, Prabhat Samgiita is not about musical properties. It is about the expression of our own feelings of bhakti for Him.

If we are feeling forlorn and far from Parama Purusa, then singing a song about the joys of attaining Him will not satisfy one's emotional needs. Similarly, we should always select a Prabhat Samgiita - a bhajan - that properly corresponds to our feeling at that very time. So we should all familiarise ourselves with a wide range of Prabhat Samgiita compositions so we readily have a song available to express our inner feeling, whether it be a feeling of frustration, love, anxiety, closeness, melancholy, or joy. Because only by singing the right song will our heart feel light - only then will the mind move in the right direction.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

The beauty of our Prabhat Samgiita practice

The beauty of our bhajan practice is that it is a time when we can openly express our feelings towards Parama Purusa. Kiirtan is chiefly about singing His glory over and over again; and, sadhana is done in silence. So it is only with our bhajan practice that we can verbally express our inner feelings to Parama Purusa. And that gives a huge lift to the sadhaka.

For example, if one is in a strange place and does not know anyone, then they cannot express their hopes and despairs, their joys and sorrows, their success and failures. And that creates a big burden that weighs heavy on the mind. Whereas if one is among friends, or with a close companion, they can easily share their heartfelt feeling. And that sharing of their inner thoughts allows one to feel light and buoyant. It has a renewing effect on one's psyche and overall existence. One key point to garner is that if you open your heart to a human being they may form a poor opinion about you. Or knowing your weakness they may exploit you. But God will always help you, so open your heart to God by singing Prabhat Samgiita.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

PS expresses full range of human sentiments

This is the very unique and essential aspect of our bhajan practice. It allows the sadhaka to clear their mind and heart of all their emotions. Because in singing Prabhat Samgiita there is a tremendous scope to express the full range of human feelings and sentiments. Verily Baba has bestowed upon us the world of Prabhat Samgiita for this very purpose - to express the full range of feelings felt by the sadhaka: the pain of separation, the joy of finding Parama Purusa, the frustration of not getting Him, the struggle of dealing with this mundane world, the bliss of His arrival etc.

All of the above and countless other human feelings and emotions are clearly expressed in our world of Prabhat Samgiita. Such a range of expression is not found in kiirtan, nor is it so easy to do in sadhana, because human beings like to express their feelings orally. And that is the true gift of our bhajan practice. Nowhere else in our sadhana system is this found. Our bhajan practice is purely personal. So if the bhajan practice is overlooked, then there is a void. Because Prabhat Samgiita is the ideal avenue for a bhakta to express the inner feelings and thoughts of their heart and mind to Him. It is a release or outpouring of one’s inner emotions which brings renewal and levity, and ultimately love for Parama Purusa. Because emotion based on ideology is bhakti, i.e. love for the Supreme.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

He only listens for the feeling of the heart

At the same time, we should bear in mind that Baba does not judge us on our singing talent or instrumental techniques. Those are meaningless to Him. He only looks inside the heart for sincerity. So a sadhaka should not feel shy, self-conscious,  or distraught that they do not have musical talent; nor should one become so vain about their musical gifts. Because in the eyes of Parama Purusa, He is only concerned with the heartfelt feeling of the bhakta. If that is expressed in our bhajan singing, then everything is expressed and the goal in singing is attained. Then and only then does that bhajan practice have value. Thus there is no place for shyness or arrogance in singing Prabhat Samgiita.

So our Prabhat Samgiita holds a special place in our sadhana practice. Those compositions allow for the expression of our inner feelings and that invariably helps cultivate a feeling of closeness and love for Parama Purusa. If we do not express ourselves, then naturally a relationship will dry up. That is the way it happens in our worldly dealings and the same applies to our spiritual life as well. Thus Prabhat Samgiita plays a great role in our development as sadhakas. It is our personal time to draw ourselves nearer to Him-- because we are not singing our Prabhat Samgiita for anyone else. We are singing for Baba and to express our feelings to Him. And, He always listens.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Conclusion

As important as kiirtan and sadhana are, we must never lose sight of the great importance of singing Prabhat Samgiita as a way to draw ourselves closer to Him and lighten our burden of life by expressing our inner thoughts and feelings.

Baba says, "Do meditation, do kiirtan and bhajan sincerely and together with that, render maximum social service. This is the supreme ideology for an ideal human being." (2)

~ In-depth study ~

Prabhat Samgiita comes under bhajana

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “Shiva propounded song, dance and instrumental music in such a manner so that it would directly vibrate the ectoplasm, so that the ectoplasmic movement converges into one point touching the soul point. That is why great people of all ages have encouraged all three aspects of music...Category of song that also reflects Parama Puruśa, but which expresses many ideas before returning to the one central idea of Parama Puruśa, is called bhajana.” (3)

Ananda Marga ideology states, “If one’s mental ideation is conveyed only to Parama Puruśa without affecting other human beings, this is called bhajana. So bhajana is purely personal; it has no collective aspect.” (4)

Ananda Marga ideology guides us, “This world is for devotees and for nobody else. When the Esana [longing] is not for Paramatman but for something else, it is known as Asakti (Attachment) and not Bhakti. As for example, the Esana [longing] for wine. This Esana will be termed as Panasakti, the attachment for wine i.e. attachment is always in bad sense and devotion is always supreme. Therefore the correct Esana [longing] is devotion.” (5)

The main aim of any sadhaka is to love and please Parama Purusa. That is the only way to get Him, i.e. with the love of bhakti, not via the knowledge of jinana, or the action of karma. Only with love can we grasp and hold Him as our own. This fact Baba has in countless discourses.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Ananda Marga ideology says, "A genuine spiritualist will have to establish a relation of love with Parama Purus'a. Those who remain oblivious to this truth become unsuccessful in their mission." (6)

Love is an essential aspect of our spiritual lives.

Ananda Marga ideology states, "Prabhat Samgiita is the feeling of the heart, and the expression of the heart, and it has been written with the ink of the heart." (7)

To be Prout leader

Ananda Marga ideology says, "Human beings will have to develop their social structure, economic principles, spiritual practice – in fact everything in life – in consistence with the principles of dharma because dharma is the divine law." (1)

Note: In His above teaching Baba is guiding us that all aspects of life including our socio-economic system must be grounded in dharma. That means to be a leader of Prout one must be a dharmika - a practitioner of bhagavad dharma. Now and again, some become enthralled by hearing the tall talks of various atheistic social leaders. And in their mind they think that such speakers are ideal Prout leaders. But Baba has put an end to this misconception. Because, in His above teaching, He has firmly declared that only those spiritual aspirants who strictly follow the divine code of dharma are qualified to be the leaders of Prout, not any type of atheistic or quasi social reformer etc.

Bengalees on wrong path - how & why

Baba's below teachings depict how a large community of Bengalees got drawn into the Muslim faith. However, best would have been if those Bengalees fought against religious exploitation and removed the caste system from Hinduism. They should have made a hue and cry to fight against priesthood exploitation. But according to Baba’s below teaching, the Bengalee community is emotional and that is why they chose the wrong path. If they had been rational they would have raised the voice against all kinds of exploitation, especially in the religious sphere, and they would not have joined the Islamic religion. In Hinduism, eating beef is not allowed. But these sentimental and emotional Bengalees started eating meat excessively and they contracted diseases and shortened their life, after joining those Muslims. This all happened due to the dominance of sentiment and lack of rationality. That is why they converted to Islam. In due course those communities formed East Pakistan and that became Bangladesh, which now has a population of 170 million. They were all converted from the Hindu religion. All the religions are bad but Islam is the worst because they are very violent. This happened to Bengalees because they are sentimental. Baba warns against the dangers of sentient in His book on neo-humanism. That is the central idea of Baba’s below two quotes.

Ananda Marga ideology states, “By temperament the Bengalees are a sentimental people. Sometimes they tolerate injustice for a long period without any murmur, without even a whimper...But suddenly, they may erupt in strong protest. These are the symptoms of a sentimental race. The people of Bengal, particularly the people of the lower stratum of society, had to undergo tremendous torture and humiliation in the past. Suddenly they revolted and embraced Islam in large numbers. They are also Bengalees – in bone, flesh and blood. They became Muslims as a reaction to the exploitation by the contemporary society.” (1)

Worst move: lower caste Hindus converted to Islam

Prout philosophy states, “It has also happened amongst the followers of different religions. Due to the many shortcomings in one religion and its exploitation of so-called lower caste people, many of these so-called low caste people left that religion and accepted another. When people leave their religion for no significant reason and accept another religion which suffers from ideological vacuum or is even inferior to the religion which they previously followed, they develop hysterical behaviour. They start excessively doing those things which were once prohibited to them by their previous religion. So we find that the person who has converted to another religion takes more beef than a normal member of that religion. This type of behaviour cannot be found in those who had ideologically accepted that religion.” (2)

When you die

Ananda Marga ideology states, “The Christian and Muslim ideas of heaven and hell and also svarga in Hindu Karmakandii Jaemini Partná, were derived from the fact that the samskáras which determine the requitals of actions exists exits in this loka. In reality no kośa will remain after death. The samskáras remains as the object of the átman. Thus the ideas of heaven and hell of the Hindu, Christian and Muslim mythologies are completely false, because after death there remains no mind at all to experience heaven or hell." (1)

The mind is incapable of doing anything without the brain. And after death there is no brain, so the bodiless mind remains dormant. It cannot do or experience anything: no pain, no pleasure, nothing. The whole notion of one enjoying the fruits of heaven or the tortures of hell after death is bogus.

It is a complete myth that people go to heaven or hell. After death the mind is dormant. And that is what is expressed in the above quote. Here we should understand that pain and pleasure are experienced in this world, not after death. So-called heaven and so-called hell are here in this world.

Know this about forgiveness

Ananda Marga philosophy states, “Those who perpetrate atrocities on collective life or on a particular human group, cannot be pardoned. In such cases pardoning not only reflects weakness, it also encourages injustice, because the oppressors become more tyrannical. In individual life, if an innocent person is oppressed by dishonest people, the person, if he or she so desires, may pardon the oppressors, just to test his or her capacity for tolerance or for some other reason. But if the oppressors torture a human group, in that case no single individual, as the representative of the group, can pardon them, and actually that person has no right to do so. If the representative acts beyond his or her jurisdiction, that person will be denounced by the group he or she represents. So it has to be said that pardoning is a practice for individual life only, not for collective life.” (1)

Note: The above teaching is difficult for some to understand. That is, commonly people are confused about this. In this above teaching, Baba is guiding us that forgiveness is for individual life - only. Those who have eyes to see know that all around in the general society and inside Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha also, there are numerous injustices going on. These all fall within the scope of collective life. Nobody can excuse those culprits because they have harmed society on the whole.

In contrast, if someone stole your personal bicycle and the next day that person feels repentant and returns it to you and apologizes for their wrongdoing, then there are two options. One may excuse that person or not excuse that person. Baba guides us that it is better to excuse them for their wrongdoing - so long as that person is feeling repentant. Because it is an individual affair and the culprit is sorry for his misdeed etc. But in the case of organisational wrongdoing that harms the society etc, then there is no scope to forgive that wrongdoer. No one has the right or power to excuse them.

Due to all the aforesaid reasons, this is a very difficult situation for some to understand - especially lay people. So they follow their dogma and excuse everyone regardless, even the venomous snake that is lying inside their shoe ever ready to bite them.

How to save burnt food

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "If the vegetables get a little burnt and [you think] that 'Oh, people can't eat this.' [Then] Quick- pour a lot of water onto them, and add fifteen or twenty betel leaves. That will reduce the burnt effect." (1)

Way to make ideal human beings

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "Some people may ask: Why does A'nanda Ma'rga run many kindergarten schools and not many high schools, degree colleges and universities? A kindergarten school is something basic and the mission of making human beings is accomplished here. If one has already become a thief or a criminal, in that case university education for such a person is of no avail. One is to be moulded in one's childhood. If one receives the fundamentals of education in the formative period of one's life, one will keep oneself alright in the teeth of the greatest trials and tribulations in life. A bamboo, when green, can be shaped or bent in any way you like. Once it ripens, any attempt to reshape it will break it. This is why more stress is to be laid on kindergarten schools. Such schools are the first phase of making human beings." (1)

Best use of time + 4 more

Baba

Best use of time

Namaskar,

When embarking on any voyage, the first question is, “Which route is safe, secure, and will facilitate reaching the destination?” Similarly, in the journey of life, every human being wants the right path. We are fortunate that we are moving on the path of bliss—Ananda Marga. While on the spiritual path, one needs constant guidance; otherwise, there is the possibility, indeed likelihood, to go astray.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Those who are not intelligent depend on someone other than Guru to guide them. But that is a bad approach. The best way is to have a direct connection with Guru, and for that Sadguru Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji has given tens of thousands of pages of discourses. And His teachings are not very difficult to understand. Even then, many may complain that they do not have time to read His teachings on a daily basis. Here then is a very simple solution.

What true sadhakas do

If we do not give our mind something positive to think about, then it will find its own pabulum—which is not always beneficial, or can even be harmful. One may worry unnecessarily about the future or engage in baser thoughts etc, because— “an empty mind is the devil's workshop”.

So during mundane duties one should fill the mind with something great and something sublime—His divine teachings in recorded form. That will be most beneficial. Because, as we all know, the science of mind also dictates that “as we think so we become”. So what we think about is extremely important.

No time to sit down & read Baba's books

All this leads to a few natural conclusions:
(1) We do not have much time to sit down and read Baba's books, but we have lots of time during the course of the day to listen to His books.
(2) Listening to His books gives the mind a positive abhoga, proper food, by which it can grow in a dharmic way. Plus listening is something that can easily be done again and again. Memory needs repetition, and by that way those teachings can be fully absorbed by the mind.
(3) In this fashion, we will come to know, understand, follow, and be capable of doing viprocita seva with the help of spreading His grand philosophy.
(4) Best is to start with easier books like Ananda Vacanamrtam and progress from there.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

The mind always needs some food—something to think about. So while doing mundane chores it is very helpful to engage in listening to His discourses / teachings. This psychic food is good for the mind. By this way, we can best utilise our time and learn, understand, and follow His teachings.

Way to listen—directions

Now that we have reached the fact that there are innumerable benefits to listening to His discourses, we need to come up with a practical plan in order to make this a reality.

Note: In this digital era of AI, there are countless ways to make text to voice a reality. If you are not sure how, then just ask your favorite AI app how to manifest this. Or you can try one of the below options, which also have their benefits.

(A) One way is for all the members of a particular unit to each record one book that is relatively short—such as Caryacarya part II, Ananda Vacanamrtam, Problems of the Day, or any book of that length. The recording of the book may take just an hour or two hours. Once done, then everyone in the unit can receive a copy of the sound files of each book that others in the unit recorded. In that way, everyone's recording library will grow quickly. Plus one can then start to trade recorded copies with margiis from other units. This type of domino effect will be very great.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

(B) Another approach is to have your preferred device read the book so you can listen and study it. Many computers, phones, and apps have this facility of "speaking". In that case, all that is needed is an electronic copy of a discourse. Then you can order the computer to read it aloud to you. Or you can download various apps that will also do the job. Of course now with AI it is getting easier and easier to convert text to speech; verily, there are innumerable avenues to quickly build a massive digital audio library of Guru’s teachings.

Steps for listening to Him

By this way, all can get recorded copies of Baba's books in their mother tongue. And then the only job is to cultivate the habit of listening during the time of daily duties. At first, it may take a little bit of discipline, but quickly the mind will become habituated, and soon you will not like to do any mundane chore without having some food for the mind—i.e. you will have the desire to always be involved in listening to His sermons while doing daily duties. In the natural course, one's understanding of His teachings will grow exponentially; plus the mind will be nourished with positive food—ever drifting in that bliss.

Conclusion

Those who cultivate the habit to read or listen to Baba’s teachings on a regular basis will experience how their mind will become more and more pure. That is the effect of outer suggestion. Indeed, their behaviour, conduct, and mental composure will change. Svadhyaya—reading Baba’s spiritual teachings—is very essential for doing dharma pracara. Without that people propagate dogma in the name of Ananda Marga. So regularly studying or listening to Baba’s teachings should be part of one’s daily routine. There is no other way.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Namaskar,
in Him,
Shriideva

By listening and reflecting upon Guru’s teachings throughout the day makes our mental arena suffused in His thought and ideation. It is a very practical and easy many to make the mind light, inspired, and filled with dharmic teachings.

Ananda Marga ideology says, "A'bhoga means occupation or pabulum. Not only the physical body but the mind also requires a pabulum; whatever object the mind confines itself to, that is its pabulum...mental pabulum is called a'bhoga. The object with which the mind is preoccupied or obsessed is its psychic pabulum or a'bhoga." (1)

Staring at Him

PS Intro: Throughout this entire song, the bhakta is speaking directly to himself.

Note: Only those who sincerely practice the higher lessons of sahaja yoga meditation can understand this song in the depths of their heart.

"Balir e ba'ndha diye ki, ba'ndhabe tumi bha'loba'sa'y..." (Prabhat Samgiita #4912)

Purport:

My mind, do you really expect that with the dyke of sand you will be able to capture and obtain His boundless love. You should understand that the overflowing prema of Parama Purusa cannot be bound and attained by religious dogmas or superficial sadhana. You should know that by external, ritualistic worship and showy meditation, you can never get His infinite, ever-flowing grace. That is why after destroying all my crudeness and staticity with a big, loud bang, I am just staring at Him. To get His sweet compassion and boundless affection I am fully depending on Him. That is the only way to receive His krpa.

No matter how thick the fog, or the degree of negativity, or much hopelessness and despondency envelopes and grips my entire being and clouds my movement towards my Goal, I have only the singular desire that my longing may move me forward towards Him. By His mercy, I only want that my yearning may push me ahead towards that very most cherished One - towards my Dearmost Supreme Entity.

My Parama Purusa Baba always graciously resides in nitya'nityaviveka. He remains in my heart. And with His cosmic presence He beautifies all the jinana, bhakti, and karma of my entire being with the pure consciousness of samvit.

My Dearmost Parama Purusa stays in my heart. I am fully depending on Him. Without His kindness nothing is possible…

Notes for Prabhat Samgiita #4912:

[1] Nitya'nityaviveka: Ananda Marga ideology says, "Nitya'nitya viveka [is] discrimination between permanent and impermanent). Whenever an intelligent person ponders over something, he or she discerns its two aspects-- the permanent and the impermanent. The attempt to accept the permanent aspect after due deliberation is called nitya'nitya viveka. The permanent is not dependent on the relative factors of time, space and person, whereas the impermanent is the collectivity of the relative factors. The best way to recognize the impermanent is that if one of the three relative factors is changed it will undergo an immediate transformation. Nitya'nitya viveka enables human beings to realise the necessity of observing dharma. It helps them to understand the fundamental differences between dharma and religion, or doctrine. Religion is something entirely relative whereas dharma is a permanent truth..."
"Nitya'nitya Viveka is an inseparable part of the practice of dharma. Dharma lays down clear guidelines for moving ahead in perfect adjustment with the prevalent situation. Dharma is the throbbing vital faculty of living beings. In dharma there is no scope for the accumulated inertness of staticity." (1)

[2] Samvit: "Samvit means spiritual consciousness, spiritual awakening. A man engaged in bad things all of a sudden feels that “No, I shouldn’t do all these things. No, I should be a good man henceforward.” Such an idea all of a sudden comes in his mind. And this thing, this change of mental tendency, is brought about by samvit shakti of Vidyámáyá. Do you follow? This is what is called samvit shakti. “No, henceforward I must be a good man. No, henceforward I must be a spiritualist. I must not encourage any depraving idea.” Samvit shakti." (2)

How to overcome suffering

According to Baba, human beings generally suffer from the three types of afflictions: (1) a'dhibhaotika, (2) a'dhidaevika, and (3) a'dhya'tmika.

If a person is undergoing hardship in the mundane sphere and not getting their minimum requirements met, that is a'dhibhaotika suffering. If one is suffering from mental tension and psychic stress, that is a'dhidaevika suffering. And, if one is in despair, feeling separate or distant from Parama Purusa, that is a'dhya'tmika suffering. These are the total afflictions of all humans.

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "The jiiva experiences three types of suffering-- a'dhibhaotika, a'dhidaevika, and a'dhya'tmika. A'dhibhaotika suffering is mundane, that is, it derives from shortages of food, clothing, medicine, education, shelter, etc. If we change the structure of society this misery will be ended. So we must do this, we should do this. Regarding a'dhidaevika suffering -- if we prepare our minds through sa'dhana', all the mental cares and worries that result from a defective mental structure will come to an end. The feeling of separation [from Parama Purusa] is a'dhya'tmika suffering. This can be eliminated by spiritual sa'dhana', that is, by dhya'na, dha'ran'a', pra'n'a'ya'ma, pratya'ha'ra, etc." (1)

Infighting in pseudo-Proutist parties

Namaskar

In fact it is a curse of infighting in AMPS. Ac Santoshananda dada has encouraged many Proutists to contest election on PBI tickets and Vimalananda dada has appealed to all Proutists to contest elections on PSS ticket.

Just like the three groups in AMPS, Proutists have also been divided into two groups - PSS and PBI. The truth is that neither PSS nor PBI leaders are following Baba's instructions. Baba instructed us to start revolutions in the name of Samaj movements. For example - Amara bengali, Magahi samaj, Angika Samaj, Bhojpuri Samaj, Utkal samaj, Sahayadri samaj etc.

Contrary to Baba’s instructions, Ac Raghunath ji and later on Vimalananda dada instructed all to contest elections not in the name of their samaj, but in the name of PSS. They combined all 44 Samaj of India and created PSS.

Baba has not given the word PSS (Proutist Sarva Samaj). After 1990/ 1992, Ac Raghunath ji created PSS and got it registered with the election commission of India. Ac Raghunath ji was thinking that PSS should be recognised in India like the BJP, Congress parties etc, not in the name of 44 samaj independently...

Baba says,  “Only Sadvipras have the right to engage in politics; other people should be swept out from the field of politics.” (Prout in a Nutshell - 15, Talks on PROUT, Paragraph – Political Parties, July 1961, Ranchi)

Contrary to Baba’s above instructions, Tom, Dick, Harry, etc are being allowed to contest elections. These PBI & PSS candidates neither follow 16 Points nor Caryacarya. All of them are sycophants of Vimalananda dada and Santoshananda dada.

Prout philosophy says, "Sadvipra leadership is the ideal form of leadership. Such leaders will be physically fit, mentally developed and spiritually elevated. With their help and guidance, revolution will be materialized." (Prout in a Nutshell - 21, Nuclear Revolution)

Scripts of the world

Prout philosophy states, "In the present world there are four types of scripts – Indo Aryan, Semitic, Occido-Aryan and Mongolo-Chinese scripts."

"The Mongolo-Chinese scripts are pictorial scripts – all the letters of the scripts are pictures. They contain about 1055 letters. In the Occido-Aryan scripts there are 20 to 35 letters. In the Indo-Aryan scripts there are about 50 letters, and in the Semitic scripts there are 20 to 30 letters."

"The Chinese and Japanese practice of using Romanized Mongolo-Chinese script is unscientific."

"Arabic, Persian, Urdu, Sindhi, Kashmiri, etc. come under the Semitic scripts and are written from right to left. This is difficult to write and takes a long time to print. Malaya has abandoned Arabic script and adopted Roman script to overcome this difficulty."

"The scripts of Tibet and South-East Asia come under the Indo-Aryan scripts. They are quite good but difficulties arise in joining letters. Through practice it has been experienced that Roman script is the best script. It is the most scientific. Those who oppose it do so out of local sentiments. Proutists won't go against any local script, but they will encourage the most scientific script as the world script. At present Roman script is the most scientific script. Future generations may evolve a new script." (1)

Is the big boss to blame?

Ananda Marga ideology states, "Without His wish, not even a leaf of a tree, nor even a blade of grass can move." (1)

Parama Purusa oversees everything and all have their role to play - no one can do anything without His approval. He oversees everything. Then how is it that things can go awry? How can "bad" things happen?

One way to understand this is via the analogy of any government when led by an ideal president. Ultimately, the president of any country is responsible for every action of every government office spanning millions of employees. Some may then accuse and blame that ideal president for the wrong and harmful decisions taken by various employees, such as the lowest level clerk taking a bribe in the village. If one thinks more rationally, we can say that there is a system when the president oversees everyone, and he wants for all to follow the rules and regulations. But certainly it has to be recognised that every governmental employee is responsible for their own dealing. The president is not the cause or reason behind an employee’s wrongful action.

The creation is the thought projection of Parama Purusa; everything exists in His mind. Whatever He thinks, that happens. But, at the same time, He has given human beings a limited degree of freedom to choose between right and wrong, to follow dos and don'ts. If human beings go against the codes of universal rules and laws given by Parama Purusa they get punished. Whereas if they follow those codes they get rewarded. So if any human being does something wrong they will be held accountable and punished for that wrongdoing. This is the way this creation works. Prakrti manages this formula of reward and punishment as per the system given by Parama Purusa.
