Common misunderstanding

Namaskar,

Occult means that which is gotten via the practice of cult. Whereas Parama Purusa is the creator of occult powers. By definition, He inherently has them all. Every quality and attribution is already in His mind. So He does not need to do the practice of cult in order to have those qualities. Already they are a part of Him. For Parama Purusa Baba we cannot say He has "occult powers". Verily, it is wholly improper because those qualities are His inherent characteristics - not something acquired through the practice of cult.

Cannot say He has a lot of knowledge

In the same way, some wrongly proclaim that Baba has a lot of knowledge. But that is not appropriate. Baba has created this world; already everything is in His mind. The acquisition of knowledge does not apply to Parama Purusa. Knowledge is the internal subjectivization of external objectivity - i.e. understanding something about the external world.

Ananda Marga ideology guides us, “What is knowledge? Knowledge is subjectivization of external objectivity.” (1)

In the case of Parama Purusa, nothing is external to His mind. So there is no question of Him acquiring knowledge etc. For Him, we cannot say He has "a lot of knowledge." And in the same way, for Him we cannot say He has "occult powers".

Ananda Marga ideology says, "For living beings, omniscience is certainly a recognised occult power. That is right. But for the Supreme Entity it is not a recognised occult power; He does not get it as a result of cult...To know everything is His nature. That is why He is omniscient." (2)

So we cannot say He has "occult powers". Nor that He "uses occult powers". Rather we should say that "Baba graces". And indeed, microvita is nothing but His grace.

Baba is omniscient & omnipotent

Here is more about how we can think about this topic. The entire creation lies within the mind of Parama Purusa so Parama Purusa sees everything. It is all in His mind. Whereas human beings acquire knowledge from outside themselves. For a person to know something then they must look outside the scope and periphery of their own mind. But with Parama Purusa nothing is outside His mind. That means that He does not 'know' anything; rather He sees everything as it is all going on within His own mind.

He has His own characteristic: He controls all - so He does not need any cult. For Parama Purusa, there is no question of occult power. His power has nothing to do with cult. It is just like, Parama Purusa does not have any jinana (knowledge). What He has is not what we call as jinana. Similarly, what He has is not occult power. He did not get his power by practicing cult.

Conclusion

In the past and in the present also, many avidya tantrikas have been using their occult powers to enhance their prestige and for getting name and fame etc; and in consequence they get degenerated. In this material world occult power is recognised by the "show" of those who possess them. Because of doing sadhana, they get occult power. But in the case of Parama Purusa, such powers are His inherent and intrinsic quality. He need not to practice any cult in order to get those things.

The term 'occult' means those powers which are acquired through the practice of cult. But in the case of degenerated human beings especially, to gain prestige amongst the common innocent mass or their disciples, such avidya tantrikas do like this. Their motive is bad, self-centered, ego-centered. So by that type of show, their degeneration occurs from human structure to lifeless matter. Ananda Marga philosophy never appreciates this type of show of occult powers.

Everybody knows that Baba does not present miracles to show his greatness - not did He go in public and do occult powers. At the same time, Without a practical demonstration of His spiritual philosophy, people would have thought that those concepts were merely myths. So by giving demonstrations in front of sadhakas only, then every disciple clearly understood that Baba's spiritual teachings were something very real and practical.

Namaskar,
In Him,
Kala’

Misuse of occult powers brings ruination

Prabhat Samgiita #3333 reveals what happens to those who long for occult powers:

“- Aes't'ashvaryya tumi cha'r'a'... kare viveka-ha'ra' -“

Purport: Those who use occult powers destroy themselves. They do all kinds of degrading and harmful things. In showing off their occult powers, they end up harming others. They invite negative samskaras and are degenerated into stone, wood, or mud. Instead of serving others, those lusting after occult powers demean and hurt innocent people and ruin themselves.

Occult powers are like dust of the earth

Ananda Marga ideology guides us, “Hence the spiritual aspirant must not run after these inconsequential occult powers, although while prasticing spiritual cult they may develop. You must not forget that all your achievements must maintain adjustment with the main propensities of the mind, and in the process of adjustment, all these eight types of occult powers present themselves to the spiritual aspirant.” (3)

Ananda Marga ideology guides us, “While practising spiritual cult, it should be remembered that spiritual aspirants must not practise in order to acquire these occult powers. The goal of spiritual practice is to realize the Supreme Entity. To search for any other thing is wrong. Occult powers are just like the dust on the roadside. The attraction for Parama Puruśa is the most valuable object – all else is only the dust of the earth.” (4)

You took advent as Mahasambhuti

Note: Only those who sincerely practice the higher lessons of sahaja yoga meditation can understand this song in the depths of their heart.

"Yugántarer tamasá náshite, álor jhalake esechile..." (Prabhat Samgiita #4718)

Purport:

O’ Parama Purusa, to eliminate the darkness piled up over the ages, You came in the flow of light. In those dark days of the distant past the whole society was drowned in dogma and everyone was suffering in pain and agony. In that desperate moment, in a flash of lightening - floating in the rhythm of dance, You took advent as Mahasambhuti. You came and showered Your grace to wipe away the age-old staticity and inundate this earth with bhakti.

Baba, O’ Parama Purusa, before Your auspicious arrival, it was very bleak; there was no positive pulsation of life. Just there was sorrow and misery in every direction. People were depressed. The society was submerged in the murkiness of materialism and selfishness. There was greediness, in-fighting, and hatred all around.  Nobody had the stamina to shake the struggling humanity from its inertia. No one valiantly came forward and declared, “Arise, awake, the new dawn has come! Get rid of all dogma and follow the path of neo-humanism!” No one called out, “Always keep the great ideology in mind: True progress is only when one is advancing towards divinity, Supreme fulfillment, and the Cosmic Entity.”

Baba, Your victorious chariot is fast moving forward, with its rattling sound, in the bhuloka, duloka, and triloka and throughout the infinite arena. Your exquisite vibration is reaching each and every corner of this vast cosmos. The entire universe is being transformed in all the realms: physical, psychic, and spiritual. O’ Parama Purusa, You told everyone this eternal truth, “In your frustration do not sit and cry in the depths of hell. Arise, awake, and follow the sublime path. Human life is very valuable and you must not forget that Your destination is Parama Purusa.” Baba, You bestowed this magnificent and blessing upon all.

O’ Parama Purusa, You came and wiped away all the darkness by infusing Your endless effulgence. It is Your grace, it is Your grace...

Note about Prabhat Samgiita #4718:

The below passage from Ananda Marga ideology following discourse expresses the conclusive idea of this Prabhat Samgiita.

Ananda Marga ideology says, "O human beings, you are fortunate. The clarion call of the Universal has reached you. Not only has the call come, but you are hearing it and it is vibrating in every cell of your body. Will you now lie in the corner of your house as an inert being and waste your time by clinging to old skeletons and bemoaning them? The Supreme Being is calling you in the  roar of the ocean, in the thunder of the clouds, in the speed of lightning, in the meteor's flaming fires. Nothing good will come from idleness. Get up and awake the clouded chivalry of your dormant youth. It may be that the path is not strewn with flowers and that inferiority complex will be attempting to hold fast your each advancing step, but even then you have to proceed onwards tearing the shroud of darkness. You will tear the thick darkness of despair as you advance in the racing chariot radiant with the Sun's brilliance towards the attainment of the Supreme state." (1)

Those same divine ideas which Sadguru has given in His various discourses are also present in Prabhat Samgiita. That means the ideas which have been given in prose have also been given in the music and poetry of Prabhat Samgiita. The main difference between Ananda Marga ideological discourses and Prabhat Samgiita is that Prabhat Samgiita is quite concentrated. Those teachings of Prabhat Samgiita are presented in a very condensed form - such as in half a line or less; whereas in Ananda Marga discourses that same idea might be explained over the course of several pages or more. That is why without proper translations and purports, Prabhat Samgiita is often unintelligible.
