Four kinds of nooses + 3 more

Baba

Be aware of four kinds of nooses, i.e. attachments

Namaskar

#1: Attachment to the motherland: Ananda Marga philosophy states, “This propensity of blind attachment is usually divided into the four categories of time, space, idea and individuality. When one loses one’s rationality out of blind attachment for one’s country, it is called deshagata moha, “geo-sentiment”. People who live in a country where not even a blade of grass grows, where people die of starvation, and which imports huge quantities of food grains from other countries, become so infatuated with their country that they say it has an abundance of water, has a bountiful fruit harvest, and is a net exporter of food to other countries.” (1)

Note: The attachment to one’s motherland is quite common and that is called geo-sentiment in neo-humanism. Because of geo-sentiment one country exploits another and there is a war. Genghis Khan of Mongolia plundered and looted a lot of wealth from India and murdered thousands of innocent people. He would invade India and then return with the bounty for his homeland. This is an example of geo-sentiment, also known as patriotism. Those who are uneducated people think that patriotism is great, unfortunately. This is attachment for one’s local land.

#2: Attachment to a particular time: Ananda Marga philosophy states, “Kálagata moha is blind attachment for a particular period of time. One becomes so attached to a certain period of time that one is unable to discern its positive or negative aspects. Some people complain that the behaviour of the present generation of children is disappointing. They say that when they were young they could easily digest iron pans, but the present generation has trouble digesting even water! They lament the great misfortune that has befallen the present age.” (1)

Note: For example,
(a) jihadii terrorists want to live according to the era of 1500 years ago.
(b) Trump supporters of the United States want to go back to the 1950's and the era of Jim Crow laws.
(c) And Hindu fundamentalists want to go back three, four, or five thousand years. Those primitive people thought that God is in heaven. So they were in a fix a about what to do. They wanted to offer Him something to please Him but did not know how to send it to Him. Ultimately, they calculated that since smoke rises then smoke is the medium to send something to God. So they put their most valuable items into the fire of yajina thinking that it is going to God. But this idea is completely misguided in this present modern age and advancement of science. But still hundreds of millions of fundamentalist Hindus participate. This is an example of blind attachment to the past.

#3: Attachment to a particular theory: Ananda Marga philosophy states, “When a particular idea has a strong impact on mind, the mind rushes towards it again and again. Thieves, in the shock of the moment, always make a quick getaway from the scene of the crime. Later, however, they brood repeatedly about the place, and often return, straight into the hands of the police!” (1)

Note: here is an example of this such disgraced theory of casteism, misguided theory of racism, disastrous idea of communism, dangerous ideas of religious fanaticism. The speciality of all these ailments is that all those who are blindly attached to one or more of these theories then it is very hard to convince them. Because the attachment instinct is so strong. Under pressure of external circumstances, and life and death situation, they somehow compromise but they never leave. Convincing them internally is very difficult due to their attachment. In theory, the Klu Klux Klan was banned ages ago but in practice there are still millions of Klu Klux Klan fanatics,

#4: Attachment to particular material objects: Ananda Marga philosophy states, “A person who uses an object for a long time develops a fascination for that object. This is called ádháragata moha [fascination for an object]. There are many rich people who have a strange weakness for some old, battered object such as a rickety chair with one arm broken off. I know a story about how a pretty pot made of bell-metal was the cause of a bitter quarrel among the daughters-in-law of a certain family, so bitter that it led to the eventual break-up of the family.” (1)

Note: This is very common. People do not want to give up their old things. Even if if is useless and lost its value, still they do not want to let go of those items. When something is useful and you are keeping that item then that is fine. But if something has lost its utility and is harmful, even then people do not want to part with that item. That is called blind attachment to some mundane thing.

Conclusion: Ananda Marga philosophy states, “The only way to free oneself from the clutches of infatuation is to superimpose the ideation of indifference and divert one’s mental thoughts towards Parama Puruśa. It may be possible to control this propensity of wild fascination temporarily by intimidation or by enacting laws, but only temporarily. Those who believe in the equal distribution of the world’s wealth, naively underestimate the power of moha vrtti. The human mind can be sublimated only by spiritual ideation, not by any high-sounding philosophy. This utopian idea has proved ineffective in the past and in the present and will continue to prove so in the future.” (1)

Note: One should remember that attachment and love are two different things. Attachment is always irrational and whatever the mind is attached with it favours that over others and that leads to injustice. Political leaders are attached to their party and cover up the nefarious deeds and save those wrongdoers and for the opposing party they make a mountain from nothing. You are loving your child but it does not mean that you are going to do injustice with other children and give preference to your child. But if you have blind attachment then surely one will do like this.

in Him,
Raghava

US election & how sadvipra samaj will descend upon this earth

Prout philosophy states, “In capitalism or democracy the state is theoretically for the welfare of the majority, but in practice it is the rule of the minority of vaeshyas [capitalists, black marketers, economic cheats] Other groups of people are forced to become second grade citizens. The Proutistic social order follows the principle sarva jana hitáya – that is, PROUT is for the welfare of all. Nobody is suppressed or oppressed. PROUT supports the rule of sadvipras. Only sadvipras can guarantee the all-round welfare of all groups of people because sadvipras represent the interests of all classes in society.” (1)

Note: As you read in the above teaching of Prout philosophy, commonly people think that the democratic system is for the welfare of the majority. But Prout reveals the truth and explains how the ignorant public is befooled and coaxed into voting against their own interests and in favour of capitalists. And the blind public does just that. The recent US election is the glaring example how one con man and billionaire TV reality clown became the president of the United States. Those who supported him are ecstatic. They do not know that they just helped in digging their own grave. This is the way democracy works. Our duty is to propagate Prout philosophy so the public should know that this entire created world is the property of Parama Purusa and all created beings are their progeny. So no particular progeny has the right of ownership of immense wealth, while making others starve to death. As fast as we can propagate this idea, the sooner sadvipra samaj will descend upon this earth.
