Intro:
Kindly read the below quote from Baba's teachings. At the end of the quote a question has been posed. If your answer to the question is correct then it means you read Baba's books carefully; and, if your answer is wrong or you do not know the answer, then it signifies that you need to pay more attention when reading Guru's teachings. After all, if sadhakas are not diligent in studying Baba's books then who is going to read them - non-margiis?
“Cunning vipras [religious priests], whom I call intellectual satans, tried to turn the minds of the people from practical reality towards an imaginary void by preaching contrived philosophies. The essence of their voluminous treatises and verbose annotations to lengthy aphorisms was: the world is an illusion; therefore renounce the world and do not be attracted to its illusions. Become desireless, detached and self-abnegating by offering all your wealth at the feet of the vipras [religious priests]. Of course such philosophies did not preach that the world was also illusory for the vipras [religious priests] who received the offerings – clearly because it was through such ploys that they were able to achieve their objectives.” (1)

In His above teaching, Baba is talking about the dogmatic, exploitative priests from the Buddhist and Hindu traditions. Those Buddhist priests (a) preach the doctrine of nihilism and (b) misguide people to empty the mind and meditate on nothingness. In a similar vein, Hindu priests imposed their faulty view that this entire world is an illusion, mayavada. Thus people were indoctrinated into the idea that they should not protest against exploitation, but rather focus only on the afterlife etc.

"All human beings are to be served with the same steadiness in all the three strata – physical, mental and spiritual – and you have to render the service by ascribing Náráyańahood to the served. Remember that your service does not oblige the Supreme, rather you are obliged because you have such a chance to serve the Supreme in the form of living beings."

मैं तुम्हारे चरण कमलों में पूर्ण समर्पण करता हॅूं।

भावार्थ:
हे परमपुरुष, तुम, लय के साथ अनुनादित और हृदय के मनन से मिलकर तुम असंख्य लयबद्धताओं में घुलकर घंटी जैसी ओंकार ध्वनि में मुस्कुराते नाचते , नाचते मुस्कुराते आये।
तुम लय के अनुनाद में आये, तुम हृदय के मनन में आये, तुम घंटी के स्वर जैसे ओंकार में आये, हे प्रभु तुम आये, लय के अनुनाद में आये, हे प्रभु ! तुम आये।
हे परमपुरुष, यदि मेैं पेड़ की शाखा में फूल की तरह खिला तो तुम उसमें सुगंध बनकर हमेशा मुझे आप्लावित करते रहे। यदि मैं दूरस्थ आकाश हो गया तो तुम उसके नीलेपन में आकर मुझमें हमेशा बने रहे। मेरे प्रभु! तुम मुझे हमेशा अपने में, अपने नीले रंग में लपेटे रहे।
हे परमपुरुष, यदि मैं दूरस्थ आकाश हो गया तो तुम उसके नीलेपन में आकर मुझमें हमेशा बने रहे। मेरे बाबा! तुम मुझे सभी दिशाओं से घेरे रहे। तुम अनेक लयों के साथ मुस्कुराते नाचते , नाचते मुस्कुराते आये।
बाबा! मैं कभी भी अकेला नहीं हॅूं, तुम हमेशा हर स्थिति में मेरे साथ ही होते हो, तुम सदैव करुणामय हो, मैं तुम्हारे चरण कमलों में पूर्ण समर्पण करता हॅूं।
टिप्पणीः-
सच्चे साधक को ओंकार ध्वनि इसी कान से लगातार सुनाई देती है।
मनन - परमपुरुष के नाम का मन ही मन में बार बार स्मरण करते रहना। इस संबंध में बाबा ने अपने अनेक प्रवचनों में समझाया है कि मनन के द्वारा आनन्दमार्ग का आध्यात्मिक जीवन कैसे जिया जाता है।
घंटी की ध्वनि - यह काव्य की कला है जिसमें रूपक की सहायता से अनेक बातें कही जाती हैं। यहाॅं घंटी की ध्वनि सुनने का तात्पर्य यह नहीं है कि परमपुरुष अपने हाथ में या पैर में घंटी बाॅंधे हुए हैं जो उनके मिलने पर सुनाई देती है। यह तो परमपुरुष से अधिक निकटता हो जाने पर गहरे ध्यान में कानों में अपने आप सुनाई देती है । इसलिये इसका काव्यात्मक साॅंकेतिक अर्थ ही लेना चाहिये ।
विराट मन का प्राथमिक कंपन साधक के अन्नमय कोश में होता है और झींगुर जैसी ध्वनि सुनाई केती है। जब वह काममय कोश को कंपित करता है तो घुंघरु की ध्वनि सुनाई देती है, वही मनोमय कोश में बांसुरी जैसी, अतिमानस कोश में घंटे जैसी, विज्ञानमय कोश में मधुमक्खियों की भिनभिनाहट सी या समुद्र लहरों जैसी, और हिरण्यमय कोश में लगातार कभी न रुकने वाली ओंकार ध्वनि सुनाई देती है। इस प्रकार पंच भूतों के साथ मन का जिस प्रकार का संबंध होता है साधक को वैसी ही ध्वनि सुनाई देती रहती है। जिसका मन जिस स्तर पर केन्द्रित रहता है उसे वैसी ही ध्वनि सुनाई देती है। जो अपने मन को एकाग्र नहीं कर पाते उन्हें यह ध्वनि नहीं सुनाई देती । साधना में एकाग्रता होना आवश्यक है।
दो अन्य रूपक - जिस प्रकार आकाश और उसका नीलापन या फूल और उसकी सुगंध एक दूसरे से अलग नहीं रह सकते उसी प्रकार भक्त और परमपुरुष एक दूसरे से अलग नहीं रह सकते। उन्हें कोई दूर नहीं कर सकता। दोनों में आन्तरिक संपर्क बना रहता है और परमपुरुष ओंकार ध्वनि के साथ आते हैं फिर भक्त उनमें ही मिल जाता है।
