Jadu dynasty & AMPS + 4 more

Baba

Jadu dynasty & AMPS

Namaskar,

When Parama Purusa comes in the form of Mahasambhuti, all His engagements come within the scope of the "Naraliila of Parama Purusa". There are many things that He does which people cannot explain. That's why those types of events are called "liila". The reasons are only known to Him. So Parama Purusa is infinite and His liila is also infinite. Here also is one of His liilas: On one side in the scriptures He has written that He lives with bhaktas. And that is certainly true. Yet there is another side to the story as well.

Note: All of creation is the sambhuti of Parama Purusa, and when Parama Purusa comes in human form to save His creation from the wrong path and establish dharma then He is called Mahasambhuti. This earth has seen three Mahasambhutis. The most recent one is Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ji.

Just as when those of the Jadu dynasty got drunk and wiped themselves out, we see similar events unfolding today. Those top leaders have been desperately trying to root out AM ideology from AMPS. By their action, we can easily see how far their dealings are consistent with Ananda Marga ideology.

History of Mahasambhuti

Lord Shiva and then Lord Krsna came. In each of these circumstances, Mahasambhuti engaged with various types of people. Some were very good; some were normal. One common theme was that those working with Him thought they had higher realisation of and greater proximity with the Lord. The same happened surrounding Mahasambhuti Baba. Those working around Mahasambhuti thought that they are most close to Him. Why did they think like this? Because they were in close physical proximity to Parama Purusa. For this reason, they thought they were psycho-spiritually close as well.

Those physically close may be spiritually far

Everybody knows that the stone that lies at the bottom of the river does not soak up any water; it is unaffected by the river even after sitting there for thousands of years. Although it is completely in water 24 hours a day, internally that stone remains untouched, i.e. completely dry. Similarly, those surrounding Mahasambhuti all the 24hrs for organisational affairs are mostly in the same position as that stone. They could not soak up any of the spiritual and neo-humanistic vibration of Parama Purusa.

In His divine liila, Baba guides us on His teachings in various ways: through stories, humour, Prabhat Samgiita, and discourses etc. Through these media, He tells His inner thoughts. Baba has given this following Prabhat Samgiita which demonstrates that those physically close may not have been very close in other realms.

(Prabhata Samgiita #3286)

Purport: Baba, by remaining physically close to You, some do not recognise You that You are Parama Purusa, whereas others, even from a distance, realise His magnanimity. Some get His sweet touch, even then they drown in staticity. While others unknowingly believe fully in His greatness...  (PS #3286)

This song - "Keu ka'che peyeo" - gives this message that living physically close to Parama Purusa is not the defining quality of one's spiritual stature or closeness with Parama Purusa. Living in His physical proximity does not mean one is psycho-spiritually close. Many lived physically close to Mahasambhuti, yet they remain far from Him. In contrast, many live physically far, but keep Him in their hearts.

Innumerable examples of this can be given. We can determine one's true relation with Mahasambuti by examining a person's conduct. This formula applies to those who were living physically close to Lord Shiva, Lord Krsna, or Lord Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji. By examining their actions and dealings, we can understand their real proximity to Parama Purusa.

The Yadava dynasty

We know the history of those in the lineage of Lord Krsna; His family was the Jadu (Yadava) dynasty. Tragically, they killed themselves due to their blindness. They were very proud to belong to the same lineage and be part of Lord Krsna's family, but by their actions we can understand that they were not truly close with Lord Krsna. They were not close psycho-spiritually.

The history is that after the Maha'bharat was over, the Yadavas - family members and disciples of Krsna - had nothing to do other than to drink wine and enjoy materially. And one day, under the spell of wine, a group conflict erupted, and they started attacking and killing each other. They all died. Here below Baba describes how the Yadavas killed each other.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "In the Jadu dynasty during the time of the Mahabharata ... Balaram was the elder brother of Krs'n'a and the king of the Jadu dynasty... Balaram was also an alcoholic. [And when Balaram and the Jadu family drank at one gathering]. The resulting drunkenness caused people to quarrel amongst themselves. Eventually they killed each other at Prabhash Tiirtha and the Jadu dynasty was destroyed." (1)

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "When at last the Yaduvamshii [Jadu Dynasty] were destroyed in Prabhasa Tiirtha, Krśńa did not help them; rather He said that they were immoral and He could not support them." (2)

Early days of AMPS & what is going on now

Please look into this following example about those who were working along with Baba as a central WT, or in any type of working relation. They were thinking they are most close. To remove their illusion, one day Baba told about the "Ringing Bell" story. (If you do not know this story then speak with senior margiis or acaryas.) We have seen the downfall of those who were in close physical proximity to Baba. And we will go on seeing. Because, ego is the worst enemy.

One can cite the name of Pranay Kumar Chatterjee, the first GS of Ananda Marga, as well as Vishokananda, the first PA. Then Madhavananda, and so many such persons can be enlisted. These types of events are not rare or unknown. Earlier in the Jamalpur days, many persons had this type of vanity from thinking that they were “very close”. Later on, their glory became one with the dust.

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "Aham'ka'rah patanasya mu'lam" ["Pride goeth before a fall"]. (3)

So at the time of Lord Krsna, the Yadavas drank, became intoxicated, and destroyed themselves.

Now in Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha we are seeing a similar scene: Those at the top are drunk with power. With whatever power and position they have, they are trying to root out Ananda Marga ideology from AMPS. They are attacking margiis and Wts who are trying to follow AM ideology. They wholly overlook the ideological guidelines which Baba has given. Knowing the history of what happened to the Jadu dynasty, we have to consider the outcome.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "They killed each other at Prabhash Tiirtha and the Jadu dynasty was destroyed. People who follow a path which is devoid of ideology are bound to meet the same fate. Eventually they will destroy themselves by their infighting... Consequently different groups are formed. We see this situation today." (4)

Conclusion

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "We shall no longer remain divided into various gotras, and erect artificial walls of separation among ourselves. Smashing all these barriers, we shall all sit and eat and drink together in the same compound, bound by the ties of one human family." (5)

Just as when those of the Jadu dynasty got drunk and wiped themselves out, we see similar events unfolding today. Those top leaders have been desperately trying to root out AM ideology from AMPS. By their actions, we can easily see how far their dealings are consistent with Ananda Marga ideology.

Some difficult challenges may be on the horizon, but, by Baba's blessing, we should never feel pessimistic; the future is bright.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "There are some people who are pessimistic. They say that the society around us is very bleak, that it has no expression of vitality and that it seems that everyone is in a deep slumber. Pessimists say this because they have never made any detailed study of human history, nor do they care to. Had they done so, they would certainly be optimistic, because if they had looked carefully at the symptoms of pause, they would have realized that significant preparations were being made for the subsequent phase of speed. So under no circumstances should human beings be pessimistic. That is why I am always an incorrigible optimist, because I know that optimism is life." (6)

Still I feel that You love me so much

“Aarańye giri shire khunje khunje tomáre, din cale jáy sandhyá ghanáy….” (Prabhat Samgiita #2144)

Purport:

Parama Purusa, I passed my days searching for You in the depths of the dense forest and on the remote mountain peaks. Now, it is getting dark and evening is fast approaching. The twilight of my life has arrived. And You never responded. It is extremely difficult to understand what kind of heart You have. But still I feel that You love me so much.

Baba, Parama Purusa, I looked for You in flowers, in the floral nectar, and also in each and every particle of pollen. But nowhere ever did I find You. I could never even get close enough to hold You near. You did not offer the slightest hint as to where You were.

I journeyed from one dogmatic tiirtha site to another. I have searched for You in various tiirthas and so-called “holy lands” - Jerusalem, Jamalpur, and I also went to Ananda Nagar, Tiljala, and Varanasi, Puri, Mecca, Rome, & dogmatic religious places, as well as in the caves of treacherous mountains. I wandered hither and thither - all over. I bathed in innumerable so-called holy lakes, rivers, mountain streams, and oceans in hopes of getting You. But I did not get You, nor any peace in my mind, from any of those so-called “holy” dips. Now my empty, unsatiated heart only sheds tears for You.

My Parama Purusa Baba, by Your grace with intense longing I realised You in my mind. I found You in my heart. In the pores of my mental abode, I have seen a glimpse of Your incredible spiritual radiance. You are there hiding in my I-feeling. In the deep core of the mind You can be realised. Your divine effulgence purely dazzles my entire being...

Which knowledge to follow

Ananda Marga philosophy says, “Common people usually live their lives according to absolute knowledge and become noble and great. That is why we see people like Kabir and Ramakrishna, who even without formal schooling, were highly regarded by tens of thousands of people. In fact, it is doubtful whether learned scholars could bring about even a small fraction of the spiritual progress these great people brought to society…”
“Social progress is achieved to some extent through relative knowledge, but here also there is a great possibility of conflict between relative knowledge and absolute knowledge. Relative knowledge often encourages divisive ideas and the propagation of narrow sentiments such as casteism, nationalism, communalism, provincialism, etc., by extolling the greatness of caste, community, creed, colour, etc. It often tends to suppress other castes, communities, creeds, etc., or wants to annihilate them completely. On the other hand, absolute knowledge teaches human beings that the Dharma of all humans is one and the same. The Supreme Entity is the Universal Father. All the human beings of the world are brothers and sisters. All are equal – no one is low, no one is high.” (1)

Baba quote----"Mere survival is not enough; what is important is to live a dignified life. The excellence of human life lies in action; it is through action that human beings survive. They should aspire to live long while performing noble deeds; it is futile to live just like an earthworm. Indeed, each and every human being should vow, 'I do not know how long I will survive; but as long as I exist I will live a glorious life, not an ignominious existence like that of an earthworm'..." AVM-33

Why fickle mind in meditation

Ananda Marga ideology says, "Most people are well acquainted with the fourth state of mind (eka'gra). In this state the human mind sometimes becomes exalted with divine sweetness; and sometimes becomes as debased as an infernal creature. Sometimes it keeps company with good people and takes a resolve never to tell lies, accept bribes, get intoxicated, or become characterless; and sometimes it thinks that honesty and virtue are sheer folly, for happiness lies in falsehood, taking bribes, stealing, promiscuity, and the like. The mind is continuously tossed between good and bad. But when the practice of sa'dhana' inspires one to accept shreya (path of benevolence) as one’s ideology, one attains the true state of eka'gra bhu'mi. In this state waves upon waves of citta emerge."

Sha'ntaditao tulyapratyayao cittasyaeka'girata'parin'a'ma

Ananda Marga ideology says, "Every newcomer to the path of sa'dhana' suffers from a lack of concentration of mind. After repeating the is't'a mantra a couple of times hundreds of undesirable thoughts flood the mind. The newcomer thinks, “I am unable to attain the One on whom I meditate, and instead am pestered by those objects I do not want.” The hand counts the beads, the lips mutter the name of the is't'a, but the mind roams in the filth of hell. When all the undesirable waves are removed from the mind, one blissful wave begins to flow, and the sa'dhaka attains the state of eka'gra bhu'mi." (1)

Note: If in sadhana a person is not one-pointed (eka'gra means "one-pointed") it means they are not repeating their mantra in a proper manner. It means they are lacking sincerity and regularity of practice.

How to cure diseases by walking

Ananda Marga Yogic Treatments says, "Pure, fresh air has the power to cure diseases. It is advisable to breathe in as fully as possible, because when we do so, the air gets an opportunity to penetrate the lungs completely. It is better to take a walk in the fresh air than to ride a vehicle. If the body does not work up a sufficient sweat, then you should know that you have not taken the air properly." (1)

Everyone is aware that Baba is teaching us to be vigilant about walking every morning and evening, invariably.
