Mahaprayan vehicles in Orissa + 3 more

Baba
Mahaprayan vehicles in Orissa

Namaskar,

After 1990, B group propagated their so-called mahaprayan programme as something very unique and godly—a special occasion reserved solely for Mahasambhuti. And they tried to hide the reality behind this mahaprayan term. By the following, it will be clear to one and all that the mahaprayan term is a very common term for the deceased and death; verily, it is related with cadavers, skeletons, corpses, and the funeral vehicles which carry these cadavers from the hospital to the burial or cremation place for common folk. By this way, B group’s attempt and tactics to cover this up are completely exposed.

Mahaprayan vehicles to carry dead bodies

Recently the Odisha state government started one programme related with the last rites of the deceased. The name of this government initiative is the mahaprayan programme. In their mahaprayan project, every hospital has mahaprayan vehicles to carry groups of dead bodies from the hospital to the cremation grounds. For more details, please continue reading and you will understand that the word mahaprayan itself is a very common term related with funeral homes and the carrying of dead bodies in trucks and buses. Especially in Odisha, the funeral vehicle which carries the dead body is known as mahaprayan.

Here below is the vehicle they are using to carry dead bodies and cadavers from point A to point B for the government mahaprayan programme. The name of the vehicle itself is mahaprayan (written in Oriya) and there are hundreds of such vehicles that have been purchased by the Orissa / Odisha government for transporting those corpses from the place of death to the next desired location.
http://anandamarganewsbulletin.blogspot.com

So although after 1990, B group propagated their so-called mahaprayan programme as something very unique and godly, it is quite apparent that the term mahaprayan is rather pedestrian and related with death, corpses, cadavers, and burial grounds etc. It is not some exotic spiritual term related with Mahasambuti. Mahaprayan is firmly rooted in the death and lifeless body of any ordinary person, as the government’s newly named mahaprayan vehicle suggests.

Conclusion

In Odisha and Bengal, the mahaprayan term is very pervasive, related with the cadavers, skeletons, corpses, and the funeral related vehicles which carry these cadavers from the hospital to the burial or cremation place for common folk.

Mahaprayan scheme: To carry the cadaver

[Courtesy of India ...]

“Bhubaneswar.  Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik  launched the Mahaprayan scheme, announced six months ago, for taking a dead body from the hospital to the deceased’s house. Mahaprayan scheme was launched keeping in view the success of Harischandra Yojana.

Under Harischandra Yojana, poor people get financial assistance for cremation, while Mahaprayan scheme would facilitate transportation of bodies from hospital to the village of the deceased, Patnaik said while launching the scheme at Mahanga in Cuttack district.”

“There has been a state-wide outcry over non-implementation of the scheme, which was announced in February this year. The government came under severe attack after a tribal man had to walk around 10 km carrying his wife’s dead body on his shoulder from a government hospital in the backward district of Kalahandi, as he was unable to get a vehicle to take the dead body to his village.”

“The scheme to facilitate transportation of dead bodies from government hospitals to the place of the deceased person’s residence will be monitored by General Administration (GA) and Health and Family Welfare departments, an official said.”

...

“As per the scheme, 40 dead body carriers (vehicles) were to be procured for 30 district headquarters hospitals, two each for three state run medical college hospitals, one each for Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar, IGH, Rourkela, Sishu Bhavan in Cuttack and Cancer Hospital in Cuttack.“ [Here ends the news from India ....]

Special spiritual guideline

Here below is an English summary of Baba’s Bengali teaching in Subhasita Samgraha - 16, chapter 4

In order to become one with Him, what is required is that one must ask for His grace. He is within your mind in the smallest form, so He hears whatever you think. Certainly then your desires, hopes, and aspirations are heard by Him. He is your nearest relative and greater self, so certainly He will fulfill your logical demands.

Ultra-modern sex change

Ananda Marga ideology states, "So the characteristic of the human mind to attract or to be attracted depends on mental tendency. If there is a glandular change in the physical structure there will be a corresponding change in the saḿyojanii or vibhájanii forces of the mind. Even if the mind thinks deeply about a person of the opposite sex, its own inherent saḿyojanii or vibhájanii shakti gets changed to some extent. If there is a major change in either of the forces there will be a corresponding change in the physical body. As a result, males can be converted into females and females into males." (1)

According to Ananda Marga ideology, the mind has enormous capacity. As one thinks so one becomes. With this theorem, a person can actually change their gender: Males becoming females and females becoming males. There is no operation involved, just by mere thought this transformation of gender can occur. Such is the incredible capacity of the mind. Naturally then, if one thinks about animalistic desires then their personae will be shaped in that way. They will take on those qualities. So one should be very careful about the thoughts they harbour, and recognise the enormous capacity of the mind and goad it toward the Supreme.

Impotency of merely doing good deeds

In the general society you will find so many people who do not like to do sadhana. They justify to themselves and to others that, “I am not harming anybody and I am busy in social service - helping the poor. So I do not need anything more. By this way God will be gracious. And I will realise Parama Purusa.”

The central idea is they in a confused state think that by doing good deeds and social service, that is enough. And there is no need to follow 16 points / sadhana etc, to realise Parama Purusa.

Ananda Marga ideology states, “Some people say, “Keep on doing good deeds – that is sufficient.” No, that is not enough. Suppose some people perform good deeds, but they have no definite goal before them: this will not produce any good result, their effort will be futile. Suppose you want to move forward: you should also know which way to move, otherwise your entire movement will be meaningless. All your time, your hard effort, and your sincerity will go in vain. Hence it is not enough to simply say, “Keep on doing good deeds.” Even those good deeds should have a clear goal. Why should I do good deeds? I should have a clear idea in which direction to move while doing those good deeds.” (1)

Ananda Marga ideology guides us, "It is incorrect to say that merely doing good deeds is enough: People must hold an object of ideation in their minds. And that supreme object of ideation is Parama Purusa. Only then if some good action is performed will it be successful. Now if one wants to do some good deed excluding Paramatma that will not be a good deed. This will be sheer selfishness on your part, and nothing good can come from it." (2)

Moreover, Guru’s teaching points out that if you do good deeds devoid of Cosmic ideation then you will be bound. And also your ego will mushroom and you will degenerate.

In human life there should be a goal. Doing anything without a goal is useless. And the goal should always be Parama Purusa the eternal Entity. So doing good deeds alone is not enough. One has to do sadhana and the goal should be Parama Purusa.
https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Only those works done with the motive of serving and pleasing Parama Purusa can be called good works. Failing that, it is just an act of selfishness. Thus every sadhaka must work thinking of Him - and for that sadhana is needed.

Story: the birth of kiirtana + 4 more

    Baba
    Story: the birth of kiirtana

    Namaskar,

That day only a few people were given permission to go to Baba; no Wt was allowed-- not PA Vishokananda, nor GS, nor VSS in-charge. It was by invitation only. Those selected were ready to do whatever Baba wanted without any hesitation. Without permission nobody else was allowed to go. And it was not pre-announced that the new kiirtana program would be introduced. No such announcement was made. Everybody thought that this was going to be a time to rest; nobody knew the greater reason why Baba was going there. This was His liila.
    http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Again this was quite unusual because Baba would never make a program solely to take rest, and it was unheard of to make a tour program where only few people are allowed. Normally there was a huge crowd, and all were welcomed. It was rare, even unprecedented, for Him to announce that He will take rest and no organisational work will happen.

    Kiirtana newly introduced

Baba started from Ranchi to Amjhariya at 2pm on Oct 7. He was accompanied by three margii volunteers, one cook, and one driver. They reached Amjhariya by 5pm. The next day, the local family Acarya Brahmadevaji came even though he knew nobody was allowed to visit. He stood outside the campus around midday and was crying out, "Baba, Baba, Baba." Hearing this Baba asked, "Who is that?", and later Baba granted him permission to come inside.

First Baba created the siddha mantra - Baba Nam Kevalam - and He explained it to those who were around. Then He told them to sing. Around this time, the above mentioned family Acarya Brahmadeva went back outside to the surrounding area and told margiis to gather people. He said, "We must start chanting Baba Nam Kevalam by 12 midnight.” Initially the kiirtana started with only a small handful of margiis; gradually more and more margiis who lived locally came. But no wts were present as they were not allowed to attend.
    http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

    Kiirtana siddhi

When kiirtana started then Baba gave a demonstration of kiirtan siddhi. Those present heard how the kiirtan melody was emanating from the air, water, space, and from all kinds of sounds like the barking of dogs, the chirping of birds, the movement of animals, and the noise of vehicles. In each case those sounds changed directly into kiirtan. And kiirtana sound from the outer world from nowhere.

Where there was no sound, then that melodious kiirtana was even resonating from space. And when they blocked their ears then from inside the mind they could hear kiirtana was going on. It was divinely intoxicating and purely Baba's blessing. Baba explained that the siddhi in first lesson is hearing omnkara dhvani, and gaining siddhi in dhyana means seeing Baba everywhere in everything.
    http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Similarly, there is siddhi in kiirtana as well. That occurs when one can hear the melodious, low-pitch of divine Baba Nam Kevalam kiirtan everywhere, in all directions, without even chanting it. Just it is resonating from all places; that is kiirtan siddhi. That time so many got samadhi in kiirtan chanting.

In the ensuing months, Baba gave many demonstrations in DMC and people were ecstatically singing kiirtana. Baba was giving so much vibration that everyone started jumping up and down. No one could sit idle. This was especially true in the case of the DMC at Muzzafarpur (1970==) as well as countless other DMC's. Wherever kiirtana was held, people got a tremendous spiritual urge and our Baba Nam Kevalam kiirtana spread like wildfire. People realised that kiirtana is powerful.

    Conclusion

Kiirtana is very important for the common mass - for everybody. That is why Baba has graciously given kiirtana; verily, Amjhariya was the best place to introduce kiirtana at that moment in time (1970). From a historical perspective, the day and the place are important but from a spiritual perspective we must always remember that kiirtana can be done anywhere and everywhere. It will always be beneficial.

    Namaskar,
    In Him
    Mahadeva

    ~ In-depth study ~

Why Amjhariya was the best place

Actually, at the time, Amjhariya was the ideal spot to initiate kiirtana as other places might have led to more resistance. Baba would have had to spend a lot more time and energy persuading and convincing dry wts. Because they were essentially thinking that Baba is Guru - not more than that. They could not comprehend that Baba is Parama Purusa. In India, accepting someone as Guru is very common - every family has one or another type of guru. Whereas accepting someone as the Almighty is a vastly different matter. That was especially difficult for those who were in key posts in Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha.
    http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

History: How some dadas opposed kiirtana

The proof of this is that later when kiirtan had spread all around, it was still seen that opposition came from many Wts in key posts. Many of those workers left the organisation, other wts openly criticised the Baba Nam Kevalam kiirtan those days, and some simply refrained from doing kiirtan at all for 6 months or even 1 or 2 years. Such was the case with dadas like Ac Vijayananda Avt and Ac Tadbhavananda Avt. That time they refused to sing or dance kiirtan for months or even a year or more. It was only later on when they were pointed out for not being bhaktas that they joined in and danced kiirtan. But in that early period in 1970 when Baba Nam Kevalam kiirtan was new they objected and refrained from participating.

Indeed in his book, Shraddhainjali, Ac Tadbhavananda Avt has described and clearly put in print how he was frustrated and upset by the Baba Nam Kevalam kiirtan and he took a stance against it. Please read this following excerpt from dadaji's book:

"This recitation of Baba Nam Kevalam was quite new to me and to other margiis who had not been in Ranchi. Baba was knowing the problem of my mind...Baba asked how we liked the Kiirtan of Baba Nam Kevalam. He particularly pointed out towards me. I spoke in a blunt way: "Baba, there are already many Kiirtan, such as Hare Krsna, Hari Rama and so on, so our Baba Nam Kevalam will create more controversies"." (Ac Tadbhavananda Avt, Shraddhainjali, p.p. 74-5)

It is apparent from his expression that Ac Tadbhavananda was not in favour of the Baba Nam Kevalam kiirtan; he even confronted Baba in person about it.
    http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

    Kiirtana is for non-margiis also

Knowing all this, we can understand how Amjhariya was the best place for Baba to introduce kiirtan. Baba did it with no wts present. Those margiis who were along with Baba in Amjhariya at that time knew that whatever Baba told was for their welfare, and they followed without any “and, if, or but”.

As we all know, Baba's plan is to grace the masses  - all should be benefited by the advent of Taraka Brahma. So He had to give something for everybody - margiis, non- margiis, all. For that purpose He gave kiirtan, and Amjhariya was the best place. So Baba made the schedule and reached there.

In His divine liila', He told others He was going there "to take rest" and that there will not be any organisational work. He said that the office flow in Ranchi headquarters was too busy, and that He needed to rest in a calm place.
    http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Usually when Baba goes anywhere there is reporting, general darshan, PC, and all kinds of committee meetings etc. That was the standard manner. But none of that was scheduled at Amjhjariya. It was announced that Baba was going there to rest. It is His liila’.

    Awaken neo-humanistic feeling

"Ei anurodh prabhu tava caran'e, manake a'ma'r shubh pathe calio..." (P.S. 2098)

    Purport:

Baba, I place this request at Your lotus feet: Please guide me and goad my mind towards the path of welfare and divinity. If ever I am surrounded by hopelessness, then please light the lamp of hope in front of me and lead me unto the path of effulgence.

If ever my mind gets negatively affected by fear, shyness, hatred, and all these pashas (bondages), ripus (enemies), and indulges in crude worldly enjoyments block the path of my forward movement towards You, then at that time please awaken the samvit shakti with a thundering voice in my mind so I can mend my ways. Whenever my mind degenerates and I get attached towards those mundane things I become intoxicated and infatuated by worldly allurements, sensuous pleasures, and guided by animal instinct, then awaken that sleeping, neo-humanistic feeling within me.

I shall move along Your path. Please give me strength so I can march ahead. On this path, You Yourself please be my guide so that I never get trapped by avidya and follow the wrong path. Baba, please remain along with me.

Baba, at Your lotus feet, this much of a request I have: Please lead me from the darkness to the effulgence…

    Note for PS #2098

Samvit: "Samvit means spiritual consciousness, spiritual awakening. A man engaged in bad things all of a sudden feels that “No, I shouldn’t do all these things. No, I should be a good man henceforward.” Such an idea all of a sudden comes in his mind. And this thing, this change of mental tendency, is brought about by samvit shakti of Vidyámáyá. Do you follow? This is what is called samvit shakti. “No, henceforward I must be a good man. No, henceforward I must be a spiritualist. I must not encourage any depraving idea.” Samvit shakti." (1)

    Universality of language

Parama Purusa Baba says, "Either from the psycho-physical or theoretical viewpoint, all the people of the world have the same language. This is because the essence of language, that is idea, is one and the same for all languages. Phonetics may differ amongst languages because of differences in geographical environment, which causes differences in racial and ethnic factors and results in variations in the biological structure of the vocal cord. Thus when the idea to drink water appears in the mind, then human beings may express this idea differently. Some say, A'mi jal kha'ba while others say, Mu jala pivu, and others say I want to drink water. Behind these different expressions is the same idea." (1)

    How animals use herbal treatments

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "Since the advent of living beings on this earth, medicines have been used. Dogs, cats, snakes, mongooses-- all animals, in fact all beings-- need some kind of medicine in various conditions. When wild animals become sick, they rub their bodies against certain trees and plants to cure their ailments. This shows that all living beings are more or less acquainted with some types of medicine." (1)

Prout philosophy states, “”For the all-round welfare and development of human beings, society needs to follow some fundamental socio-political principles. Without the firm foundation of such principles, disunity, injustice and exploitation will flourish. To avoid this and to safeguard the interests of all people, the leaders of society must ensure that cardinal socio-political principles are strictly followed. Otherwise, individual and collective progress can never be achieved.” (1)

Prout philosophy states, “In India, Hindi has been imposed on non-Hindi speaking people, resulting in much ill-feeling between many states and the centre. The imposition of Hindi amounts to Hindi imperialism, and those who do not speak Hindi feel suppressed. The important languages of Bihar, for example, like Bhojpuri, Maethilii, Angika, Magahii and Nagpuri, have been suppressed in favour of Hindi. Preserving spiritual vibration + 3 more

    Baba
    Preserving spiritual vibration

Note: The points expressed in this letter are only for dedicated and committed sadhakas who practise all the lessons both times with long sessions, as this letter reviews a very significant aspect of spiritual sadhana. For others it is beyond their grasp.

    Namaskar,

Baba would touch sadhakas as a way to bless and grace them. This we have all seen or heard about on countless occasions. By His mere touch He would put aspirants into samadhi and / or cure their ailments etc. By His touch, sadhakas could feel His grace as bliss. In countless demonstrations, we bore witness to this. After all, who has not heard about how Baba would regularly direct various persons like Dasarath ji to grab onto His toe and by doing so Dasarath ji would then be able to see past, present, and future of anybody.
    http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

Duty of VSS was to protect Baba from touching

Those days margiis and general workers wanted desperately to touch Sadguru Baba’s feet. They would rush up with great force towards Baba. And this became a big problem. So to protect Baba, VSS was created. To that aim, those VSS cadres would make a human barricade around Guru. And they would aggressively push aside all comers. They also used sticks to protect Baba from the rush of margiis and workers. This was the constant struggle for VSS - protecting Guru from His own disciples who were eager to get Him. And why were margiis so eager? Because by touching Him they felt blissful.

    Spiritual energy transfers

Just as we receive His spiritual vibration through His divine touch, we can lose that exquisite vibration by hugging or touching others as well. To maintain a strong spiritual flow, Baba advises us on this point.

Ananda Marga Caryacarya says, "Do not shake hands with anyone." (1)

Touching others is not just a physical or psychic or social expression. By touch, spiritual energy is also transferred - i.e. it can be lost. That means the sweet vibration we derive from feeling His spiritual touch in sadhana can be lost by physically touching others.
    http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

    After performing samadhi demonstrations

After performing samadhi demonstrations on sadhakas, it was forbidden for anyone to touch that sadhaka who was basking in the bliss of samadhi. So we should all see for ourselves and try to realise this eternal truth. Since long, many advanced sadhakas on the path of Ananda Marga have advised other aspirants on this point.

Experiment: do lots of kiirtan & sadhana - touch ordinary citizens

On this point everyone should experiment for themselves:

    1. First, set aside some time to do very long kiirtan and very long sadhana in one quiet and lonely place.

    2. That day you will feel a surge of spiritual vibration; continue your practice until you distinctly feel His spiritual touch which brings feelings of deep tranquility and bliss.

    3. Then with that deep tranquility and bliss, go and leave your sadhana place and touch and hug normal citizens etc. Then you will feel for yourself how the spiritual vibration wanes. Some of the flow gained from sadhana will fade away.
    http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

    4. But remember, if you experiment with this without first purifying the mind with lots of kiirtan, sadhana, deep tranquility and bliss, then it will not work. Because if the mind is not cleansed, if it is dirty, then there will not be any sweet spiritual vibration to lose. In that way, one will not feel differently by touching others. Whereas if one does sadhana sincerely with pointed concentration, and gets deep tranquility and bliss, then a sadhaka will feel a distinct loss of spiritual energy when coming in hugging or physical contact with others. It is akin to having your clean clothes become soiled from the dirt.

In contrast, if one's clothes are already dirty then they can sit down in the dirt without realising that their clothes have become even more soiled. So those not doing strong sadhana will venture out in the general society and touch or hug others without realising that their mind has been adversely affected.

    5. After involving deeply in sadhana, if you refrain from touching others, then you will maintain your spiritual energy, by His grace. And you will build upon that base and it will multiply in your next session of sadhana.

So this is one very good spiritual experiment to see how sadhana really transforms your existence. If you practice this for a day or so, you will see how the tranquil spiritual vibration of sadhana will linger on and on, from day to day, from one sadhana session to the next. In contrast, if you engage in touching or hugging others, then the opposite will occur. There will be some loss of that sweet lingering feeling, some of that energy will have been wasted away and one will start each sadhana session from the lower level. So sadhana will be about just replacing what you lost rather than building upon and growing from the last sadhana session.

    Spiritual energy drains out

In our own practical life we should try to follow the word and spirit of Baba's above guidelines - as far as possible. This is something for us all to experiment with and gain an inner understanding of. Along these lines here are some points.
    http://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/

As sadhakas to whatever degree possible after doing sadhana, one should not touch others right away. In our family lives we have small children etc, but to whatever extent we can, we should try not to come in physical contact with others immediately after doing sadhana. In addition, sadhana should not be done with a cat or dog in the lap. Nor should we hold our small babies in our arms when doing sadhana. Best is to be alone when doing sadhana - not touching others.

Overall, the above are a few of the many ways to increase one's sadhana and spiritual flow. These lifestyle tips help to retain one's subtle spiritual vibration. We should all be vigilant in sadhana and receive His divine spiritual touch. And then do our best to retain that sweet spiritual vibration right up through the next sadhana session. This builds spiritual momentum. Whereas if we do sadhana and experience deep tranquility and bliss, and then randomly go around touching and hugging, then some portion of that subtle energy just drains out.

Ananda Marga ideology guides us, "At the time of maha'bha'va, the sa'dhaka feels the tactual presence of Parama Purus'a and falls down. At that time, every nerve-cell, every nerve-fibre and every pore of the human body feels the divine touch." (2)

    Conclusion

When sadhakas feel a spiritual vibration, then if they touch others the vibration goes away because of their limited spiritual stock. They do not have an infinite amount of spiritual treasure to touch or hug and have it distributed around. In the case of Baba it is very different. He has an infinite amount of spiritual treasure. By His dealing and behaviour He wanted to teach His disciples the theory of “not to touch.” That is why He was not allowing others to touch Him. But before the creation of VSS it was very common for bhaktas to touch Baba and get some spiritual vibration. So they did little or hardly any sadhana but got a lot of vibration by touching Him. Later on Baba wanted to teach His disciples to do sadhana and retain the value of that sadhana by not touching other people. But at the same time in the crowd Baba was not allowing others to touch Him; but for select individuals He was giving them opportunity to touch Him in His room. It was just His liila. Here the main point is that Baba has an infinite amount of spiritual treasure so He does as He wishes. But for humans it is different. After sadhana they have a little stock of spiritual treasure, so they should not waste it by touching others.

Feeling His spiritual touch in sadhana

As one progresses in sadhana one can feel His sublime spiritual touch more and more, thereby submerging our entire existence in His bliss.

Ananda Marga ideology guides us, "When the sa'dhaka clearly feels the thrill of divine existence around him at the time of sa'dhana', the state of bliss as experienced by the sa'dhaka is described as dasha'. When the sa'dhaka feels the existence of the divine world around him, as also the source from which the divine existence comes, the state of bliss the sa'dhaka experiences at the time of sa'dhana' is bha'va. Again, when the sa'dhaka feels the closest proximity of Parama Purus'a, even within his embrace, that bha'va is called maha'bha'va. At the time of dasha', the sa'dhaka feels bliss within and falls down, and during bha'va, the sa'dhaka feels proximity to God, feels great bliss and falls down. At the time of maha'bha'va, the sa'dhaka feels the tactual presence of Parama Purus'a and falls down. At that time, every nerve-cell, every nerve-fibre and every pore of the human body feels the divine touch." (3)

Aspirant comes in tactual contact with Supreme

Without touching Him, dhyana is impossible. Whenever the mind is pointed in sadhana, one will feel His divine touch. Sincere sadhakas continue to experience this regularly in sadhana. Sadhakas who felt His grace merely by attending His darshan and seeing Him. When doing His dhyana, we can come in contact with His divine presence and feel His closeness - His grace.

Sometimes in dream also He bathes us in His effulgence and blesses sadhakas by touching them. He has innumerable ways to shower His infinite grace and bliss. Here below Ananda Marga ideology guides us that one will feel His presence and spiritual touch in sadhana and other spiritual practices.

Ananda Marga ideology says, "There cannot be any peace, any happiness or any beatitude till the aspirant comes in tactual contact with the Supreme Self." (4)

The main point is we can feel His presence through all kinds of psycho-spiritual practices. That contact brings waves of sweet, blissful spiritual vibrations. By touch, spiritual energy is transferred.

    Subtle spiritual topic

So this point of touching is attainable and for the welfare of all sadhakas. It is a universal point of spiritual life from which we can all benefit. Yet to truly understand this point of not touching others, sadhana is needed. Otherwise, if one is not doing sadhana properly then how can one understand this subtle spiritual topic. It will be beyond the grasp.

    More points on touch

As far as possible every sadhaka should refrain from touching others after sadhana and in between sadhana sessions. At the same time, there are some circumstances where one must sacrifice and come to the physical support of others. For instance, if an elderly or disabled person needs physical support and without help they will fall, then one must come to the aid of that person. They need physical service and support. So there are particular occasions where we will have to touch others. Yet, one should also remain vigilant and be strict on such matters and not touch others when it is not warranted or needed. By that way, one can best maintain and enhance their spiritual approach and thereby best serve others. The more the mind is linked with Parama Purusa, the more that sadhaka can selflessly serve and guide the society.

    Our Samskrta names

Ananda Marga Caryacarya says, “At the time of initiation or shortly afterwards, those who do not have a Sanskrit name should be given one by the ácárya/á. The word deva should be suffixed to the name…the more the usage of deva as a title, the better it is. The Sanskrit name should be used in all worldly dealings.” (5)

Ananda Marga Caryacarya states, "Unrelated men and women should not, as far as is possible, touch each other." (6)

    Song of Prout

"Kánt́aye járá bharie chilo,kánt́ár gháye tárái gelo..." (Prabhat Samgiita #4756)

    Purport:

Those antisocial elements, who stuck thorns on other’s path, were wounded and destroyed by those same pointy needles. Such immoralists worship matter, swindle and cheat others to accumulate material treasures, and indulge in degrading pleasures. Due to the boomerang effect, those sinners got destroyed by their own swords. Where there is dharma there is victory.

Such communist leaders and wealthy swindlers had no love or affection for anyone. They were only infatuated with the dogma of material gain. In trying to establish themselves in mundane riches and their materialistic philosophy of communism, millions of lives were lost. In the end, nothing good came out of it, only devastation. Those selfish leaders destroyed everything. They ruthlessly harmed humanity every step of the way.

The natural tendency of the human mind is to oppose sin; and the innate feeling of the human intellect is to be free. In their attempt to pulverise these two unique qualities, the demons used a steamroller to try and crush the human spirit. But ultimately those exploiters got destroyed by those very blows. And the victory of humanity and dharma was established, by the grace of Parama Purusa. The golden dawn arrived...

    Notes for Prabhat Samgiita #4756:

[1] The first line of the above Prabhat Samgiita, "Ka'nt'a'y ya'r'a' bhariyechilo ka'nt'a'r gha'ye ta'ra'i gelo", describes how the immoralists destroyed themselves - by their very own blows. It was the boomerang effect. In 1982 the Propounder of PROUT delivered this following passage and within a decade all the main communist leaders were wiped away from the face of the earth.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "The wickedness, the deceit, that pollutes human society first moves along a crooked path like its masters, and finally ends up by annihilating its masters themselves. The wicked persons at the helm of affairs, who are now out to liquidate others, will one day themselves be liquidated and erased from history by their own followers. Sinful persons, by following the crooked path, contaminate the atmosphere of the universe, but ultimately that sinful conduct, in a similar crooked way, will recoil like a boomerang on the sinners themselves." (1)

[2] The above song contains two English words: dogma and steamroller. Even though the entire song is in Bengali, the above two words are used in the lyrics and printed using Bengali script.

    Protozoic & metazoic mind

Ananda Marga ideology states, “The protozoic minds are guided by instinct only. The protozoic mind is citta only, with no development of ahaḿ[tattva] or mahattattva. Ingesting food, supporting offspring – this is all done instinctively, according to their svabháva [spontaneously], the reasons being quite unknown to those creatures. The earthworm does not know that it is an earthworm. It moves instinctively, spontaneously, according to its undeveloped mind. The protozoic minds and the protozoic microcosm can be said to be the physical mind. A protozoic creature has only physical mind. The collection of protozoic minds in the human can be said to be the physical mind of the human, known as the [kámamaya kośa]. It is guided by instinct, there is no discrimination.”
“But the metazoic mind moves with some intellect, or discrimination, as there has been some development of intellect in it. Hence the metazoic mind has control over the protozoic mind. The more the metazoic mind is developed in a creature, the more developed the creature is; that is, a metazoic structure will be more complicated. And where this complication has increased considerably, that physical structure is the human physical structure.” (1)

Note: Living cells act according to instinct because of their protozoic mind. There are many organs in the human body such as the kidneys and the liver. These organs have have a more developed mind, i.e. metazoic mind. So long as the kidneys and liver are in a greater structure like an animal or a human they will do their job. That is why doctors are able to perform kidney and liver transplants from one human body to another. So metazoic mind controls protozoic mind. And, in the human structure, both protozoic and metazoic mind comes under the domain of the unit human mind.

Enterprises should not be controlled by government

Prout philosophy states, “It is desirable that the management of industrial, agricultural, trade and commercial enterprises not be in the hands of the central government or the world government (after the establishment of the world government). If it is, the common people will not get the direct or even the indirect opportunity to participate in the management of these enterprises. In such cases capitalists, opportunists or self-seeking politicians can easily take control of them and misappropriate public wealth." (1)
