How PROUT cooperatives work

Namaskar,

In the capitalist structure, the over-accumulation of wealth is the aim of top business executives; they want to hoard all the money. Whereas, in the cooperative model, the fair-minded earnings of the collective are rationally divided between all participants.

Prout philosophy states, "The total profit of such co-operatives should be distributed amongst the workers and members of the co-operative according to their individual capital investment in the cooperative and to the service they render to the production and management of the co-operative." (1)

Thus, as Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar describes above, in the cooperative system the profits are shared based on the merit system - but all are guaranteed enough funds for the necessities of life. In that way, all members of the cooperative earn a fair portion based on their investment and work ethic. This is one of the revolutionary qualities of the cooperative model. Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar has given the teachings of Prout. 

Capitalists are anti-human


In a nutshell, it can be said that capitalists operate in a manner that is 100% contrary to the ways of Prout because those bosses are driven by their extreme selfish desire to pocket huge amounts of money - all the while manipulating and exploiting those doing the work.

In a phrase the capitalist model is profit-motive. Everything and anything is justified by the profit. In contrast, Prout is based on the service motive where the economy is consumption based.

So the capitalist approach is only fueled by owners making more money - at any cost; whereas, the Proutistic model is for the service and well-being of society. They are diametrically opposite to one another.

Cooperatives based on coordinated cooperation


The Proutistic model is entirely different. By awakening the masses and creating more vikśubdha shúdras, we will soon be able to implement the cooperative model. Here below Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar is furthermore telling about the special benefits of Proutistic cooperatives.

Prout philosophy states, "Through the co-operative system human society will progress with accelerating speed." (2)

Prout philosophy states, "Co-operatives will greatly assist in psychic and spiritual advancement." (3)

Prout philosophy states, "PROUT supports the implementation of the co-operative system. Its inner spirit is one of coordinated co-operation, for only that can ensure the healthy, integrated progress of humanity. The co-operative system is essential to establish complete and everlasting unity amongst the human race. People should work to enjoy sweeter fruits by establishing the co-operative system." (4)

Conclusion


In the Proutistic model, business and trade industries are run by the service motive - i.e. the greater society is being served by their actions and dealing. Whereas, in the capitalistic model the selfish motive is dominant. Those capitalists do not care if they harm the society. Their dominant motive is selfishness - profiteering. If they think they can earn money by vile means then they think that is also okay. Even if they are harming society. That is why in capitalism we see so many negative businesses engaged in liquor, drugs, tobacco, gambling, guns, ruining the environment, junk food and so many subterranean activities that harm the people - you name it. And by this way, those capitalists earn a lot of money. That is the danger in selfishness. In contrast, the motive in Prout is service and with that intention no harm can be done to the society. Everything is done with the motive of serving society whereby society is benefited. So all those negative professions and trades that are so prevalent in capitalism do not exist in the Proutistic society.

Ananda Marga ideology says, “Suppose in one’s garden there is a big rose; obviously the owner of the garden will boast to other people about the size of the rose. Perhaps the flower was as big as a fig, but the owner will describe it as huge...”

If their heart or lungs stop functioning, then they will have no other option but to be carried upon the shoulders of 4 other persons and placed onto the funeral pyre. When this is the situation of human beings, where is the scope for self-glorification?” (1)

Poor gauge of books

Ananda Marga philosophy guides us, "There is a flagrant dearth of developed critical literature or critical magazines in every country of the world. Books sell in the market on the strength of publicity skills, or on the strength of how they excite the lower human propensities, or in some cases by their crude ability to provide entertainment for the common masses. That is why we find that books published by the authors themselves, regardless of how good they are, do not sell well in the market. On the other hand, books which excite people’s sexuality, whatever might be their content or language, sell extremely well." (1)

Nowadays the benchmark for determining the greatness of a book is the number of copies sold. But this is the wrong measurement because in this era of materialism the masses run to buy those books that excite the lower propensities. Yet, that is not the mark of great literature. Sadly, today's so-called writers have the requisite intellect and talent to write but in order to earn money and maximize sales they inject degrading, perverted themes into their writing. Because that is what enables their books to become "best-sellers." That is the unfortunate and common trend nowadays. So one should be very careful when selecting books. Those titles which have sold the most copies do not represent literature in the proper sense of the term.

Highest thing in life

Ananda Marga ideology says, "When people get fatigued, be they jiṋánis, karmis or bhaktas, they say, “There is nothing more I can do.” In such a situation they can only take shelter in Parama Puruśa. This is called “sharańágati.” Here shelter means one hundred percent dependence on Parama Puruśa to the exclusion of all other objects. “A” means “coming” and “gati” means “mobility”. When all mobility terminates in Parama Puruśa, it is called “sharańágati”. When sharańágati occurs, one is said to have accomplished the final attainment. You should remember this supreme truth." (1)

Note: In the life of a sadhaka on the spiritual journey, the first and foremost ingredient is surrender. In so many ways it is used. In the above quote, surrender is explained in a very simple way.

Re: Nabhaniilananda misguides

Namaskar,

I think some of your criticism rushed up against Ac. Nabhaniilanandaji is justified on the ground that he seems to twist Baba's teachings into some new-age, feel-good, everyone's exercise. 
What's the use of that if people are not given the actual purpose of meditation, that is self-realization and service to humanity?

More concerned I am about the use of differing titles such as 'the heart-circle' in the place for Akhanda Kiirtan. I mean, what is Dada teaching: Baba's spiritual practices or his own twisted version?

Somebody should bring him to his senses.

By the way, meditation Apps for the phone or tablet have been around for several years now. I myself found them quite useful at times. I am not sure why Dada needs to invent the wheel again. Has he no urgent matters concerning his trade, department or other things to do?
He seems to be totally in his own flow, doing what he feels he should do and not what is actually needed in the greater interest of the mission.

I also failed to find any mention of Nabhaniilanandas spiritual master (meaning Shrii Shrii Anandamurti) in any of his Blog posts. Did I miss something? Does he pose now as a self-proclaimed monk-dude? Everything he teaches he owes to Baba, but no thanks or appreciation seems to be given on his blog. Why?

Sad really.
