Story: Margii & Wt relations + 4 more

Baba
Story: Margii & Wt relations

Namaskar,

One family acarya from Gorakhpur came to Baba to complain about one young Wt. With hatred and disdain towards the young worker, the family acarya was telling about the laziness of that junior Wt.

Baba: you failed in your duty

Sadguru Baba immediately interjected and with His divine countenance feigned scolding the family acarya and told him to look upon that young worker as his own son. Not only that, all-knowing Baba said that, "He [the young Wt] was exhausted and that is why he could not do any work. And since he was a new Wt, he has been under your care in Gorakhpur, but he is not getting nutritious food. Due to lack of proper food, he has no energy to run around and attend to all kinds of activities. You are the in-charge there but you are not doing your duty to provide the basic necessities for this young Wt. And without understanding the details, you are complaining about his laziness. Do you not have any shame? The other night, on the evening of the festival, while you yourself were eating dainties and delicacies with your friends and relatives and enjoying at your house, this young worker was not even able to find any proper food in the jagrti.”

Margii is repentant

After telling this, Baba scolded the family acarya stating, “The new Wt is quite young, and you would have taken care properly, but instead shamelessly you have come here to complain.” Then the margii hung his head in shame and realised his mistake, and he asked Baba for punishment.

Margii-Wt relation & responsibility

All-merciful Baba saw how the family acarya was repentant and said, “In the future you should follow your basic duties. The role of family margiis is to look after your personal family, take care of the mundane needs of Wts, and create circumstances so they can do maximum social service. If margiis just started complaining about Wts and Wts complain about margiis about various social service activities and levy accusations about who is not doing what, the result will not be good. First people should do their own work and become ideal examples by their actions. And they should inspire others to also engage in worthy endeavours."

“Yes, if a particular Wt is not following the conduct rules then surely it should be pointed out. Because one’s conduct is the base, and if that is not proper then how will they be able to engage in social service?”

After hearing this from Sadguru Baba margiis got a new vision. And the above family acarya began doing his own duty of a family person, and, in result, the new, idealistic Wt gradually became very enthusiastic and active.

Namaskar,
in Him,
Caetanyadeva

By the way, while Baba was scolding that family acarya, He also pointed out that the family acarya's own son had not become a WT nor was he even a margii.

Plagiary?

It is the accepted international standard and Baba's system not to copy another's work and publish it in your own way. Baba has given a very strict rule on plagiarism. Why is Baba against plagiarism or stealing someone's work? There are many reasons:

1) It is against the code of asteya (non-stealing).

2) Countless stories of bhaktas need to be published. But some do not want to do the hard work of compiling and writing these stories, so they just steal them from others. But new stories need to be told, otherwise so many unpublished stories of sadhakas will be lost and forgotten forever. So watch out for story thieves, and kindly help them not to steal by posting on social media in their own way. If you want to forward this story then attach the following yellow section with the story:

“Courtesy of unknown bhakta via Ananda Marga Universal (https://anandamargauniversal.blogspot.com/)”

This will be treated as the standard protocol.

Spiritual vibration generated

Note: Only those who sincerely practice the higher lessons of sahaja yoga meditation can understand this song in the depths of their heart.

"Vishva'tiit vishvag tumi, tabu keno khunje mari ha'y..." (Prabhat Samgiita #0281)

Purport:

Parama Purusa, You are both beyond and within this entire universe. Even then why do I desperately search for You externally. Baba, I do not understand Your liila. Despite my awareness about Your eternal omnipresence, I go on seeking You outwardly - in all the nooks and corners. I cry in longing to get You. By Your grace, in the vast sky, in the air, water, and in the fire - in each entity a spiritual vibration is generated.

Baba, You are the source and inspiration of everything. All the beauty and glories of this entire creation are due to Your grace. By thinking about Your grand play I am divinely intoxicated and ensconced in Your love. When I think about Your vastness and greatness I lose myself in Your ideation.

Parama Purusa, You are ever-awake in the deep corner of all hearts, every moment, always. In spite of knowing that You are all-pervading, most of my days get wasted unnecessarily in seeking You in the mundane world. I lost so much time looking for You outside meaninglessly.

Baba, when I aim to find You within, by Your grace I feel that You are always sitting in my mind, smiling...

Capitalist indoctrination

Ananda Marga philosophy says, "The system of education prevailing today was formulated or evolved long ago, mainly with a view to suit the needs of the capitalist class. For the last three to four thousand years, the same type of education is being imparted. The main purpose behind this sort of educational system is to create persons with a slavish mentality to fulfill need of those capitalist exploiters. This sort of education is fundamentally defective. It is certain that this type of education which serves the capitalists' interests is not at all suitable. This sort of education creates obstacles in the evolution of humanity. We have to thoroughly revamp the entire educational system. A new educational system must evolve to produce sadvipras." (1)

Note: Those who are bragging about the standard of their education should know what type and what category of knowledge they have. In this regard, we should ponder Sadguru Baba's above guideline.

Boon for all sadhakas + 2 more

    Baba

    Boon for all sadhakas

    Namaskar,

The following excerpt is from Baba’s discourse, “Even the Greatest Sinners”:

"The [mythological] story of Gayasura is one such story. He was a terrible demon. Lord Viśńu had blessed Gayasura with a boon. Strengthened with the boon, he conquered heaven, earth and hell, and established a big empire. Ambitious of expanding his empire, he ultimately started to fight Lord Viśńu himself. The dethroned gods of heaven approached Viśńu and appealed to him plaintively: “O Lord, because of your boon Gayasura has become immeasurably powerful, irresistible. You please stop him.” So Viśńu went to fight Gayasura, but even he was defeated, because through the boon of Viśńu himself Gayasura was invincible.
This morning I said, regarding the question “Who is more intelligent, the devotee or God?” that the devotee is more intelligent. But if you put the question before a devotee, the devotee will reply: “I am; but I got my intelligence from Paramátmá.” Similarly, Gayasura acquired his power as a boon from Paramátmá. Anyway, Viśńu was defeated, and Gayasura bound him tightly to a big tree. A devotee of course has the right to bind his Bhagaván. Bound thus, Viśńu said: “Look, Gayasura! Before I granted you a boon. Now you grant me a boon.” (1)

Even a sinner or a durácárii – who worships you, you must give mukti and mokśa"

Gayasura said, “My Lord, I am yours, so whatever you want I will give you.”

Then Viśńu said, “You see, I want you to turn to stone.” Gayasura fell prostrate on the ground. Starting from the lower parts of his body, he began to turn to stone. Gradually Gayasura’s whole body was turning to stone. Then Gayasura said: “I am ready to grant you the boon you are asking for, but on three conditions. The first is that you put your divine feet on my chest – you must put them there.” Viśńu said: “So be it.” The meaning is that Viśńu was installed in Gayasura’s heart. “The second condition is that whoever worships you will certainly attain mukti [liberation] and mokśa [non-qualified liberation]. To anyone in the world – even a sinner or a durácárii – who worships you, you must give mukti and mokśa.” Lord Viśńu agreed to this also: “So be it.” “The third condition is, if anyone worships you and does not attain mukti and mokśa, then Gayasura will rise again.” Viśńu said: “So be it.” Now see the beautiful way Gayasura has been characterized here!" (2)

    Ideate on the Divine

May we all focus and adopt a high spiritual ideal.

Anand Marga ideology states, "Cherishing a strong desire to know and understand Him, think of Him, ideate on Him, meditate on Him – You will certainly attain Him." (3)

Ananda Marga ideology guides us, "Parama Puruśa, Parama Pitá, says that even if you are the worst type of sinner, that is, he whom the sinners hate as a sinner, what will happen? Bhajate mám ananyabhák. If you take the shelter of Parama Puruśa, then what will happen? Parama Puruśa will save you from all those serpentine nooses of sin....And for those who take shelter, those who resort to Parama Puruśa, what will happen? Parama Puruśa will save them from this serpentine noose of sin. So a person must not be afraid of sin, he should be free from all worries and anxieties regarding sin. Parama Puruśa will help him. Parama Puruśa is always with him." (4)

    in Him,
    Caetanyadeva

Doing good deeds alone will not suffice

In the general society you will find so many people who do not like to do sadhana. They justify to themselves and to others that, “I am not harming anybody and I am busy in social service - helping the poor. So I do not need anything more. By this way God will be gracious. And I will realise Parama Purusa.”

The central idea is they in confused state think that by doing good deeds and social service, that is enough. And there is no need to follow 16 points / sadhana etc, to realise Parama Purusa.

Ananda Marga ideology states, “Some people say, “Keep on doing good deeds – that is sufficient.” No, that is not enough. Suppose some people perform good deeds, but they have no definite goal before them: this will not produce any good result, their effort will be futile. Suppose you want to move forward: you should also know which way to move, otherwise your entire movement will be meaningless. All your time, your hard effort, and your sincerity will go in vain. Hence it is not enough to simply say, “Keep on doing good deeds.” Even those good deeds should have a clear goal. Why should I do good deeds? I should have a clear idea in which direction to move while doing those good deeds.” (1)

Ananda Marga ideology guides us, "It is incorrect to say that merely doing good deeds is enough: People must hold an object of ideation in their minds. And that supreme object of ideation is Parama Purusa. Only then if some good action is performed will it be successful. Now if one wants to do some good deed excluding Paramatma that will not be a good deed. This will be sheer selfishness on your part, and nothing good can come from it." (2)

Moreover Guru’s teaching points out that if you do good deeds devoid of Cosmic ideation then you will be bound. And also your ego will mushroom and you will degenerate.

In human life there should be a goal. Doing anything without a goal is useless. And the goal should always be Parama Purusa the eternal Entity. So doing good deeds alone is not enough. One has to do sadhana and the goal should be Parama Purusa.

Only those works done with the motive of serving and pleasing Parama Purusa can be called good works. Failing that, it is just an act of selfishness. Thus every sadhaka must work thinking of Him - and for that sadhana is needed.
