Destruction of statues of devils: wrong or right

When Parama Purusa comes on this earth as Mahasambhuti He creates the
vibration and sets in motion so many dramatic shifts to propel humanity
forward. At present, we are witnessing one of those shifts as the irate
public pulls down statues of numerous exploitative leaders from decades
and generations ago. Here are some of the points we should take note of
as this scene unfolds.

Should statues be preserved? No
(a) Some might wonder if those statues should be preserved in a museum.
The clear answer is no. All that is needed is to keep one very tiny
version of a statue with a placard that details all the horrors and
atrocities that person committed. After all, those racist leaders
pillaged society, stood on the backs of the suppressed masses, and
erected countless statues to glorify themselves. They filled every
corner of their land with those monuments. So there is no need to keep
all those statues in a museum as cultural artifacts. So again, the clear
answer is no. All that is needed is to keep one very tiny version of a
statue with a placard that details all the horrors and atrocities that
person committed.
(b) Bear in mind, in the case of national tyrants / politicians like
Stalin and Gandhi who did irreparable harm to society, there might be
hundreds of thousands of statues of them. And even with racist
confederate leaders in the deep south of the US, there might be dozens,
hundreds, or more statues. Why should public money be used to haul,
store, and show those statues in museums. That is a complete misuse and
abuse of public funds. The clear solution is not to keep them. All that
is needed is to keep one very tiny version of a statue with a placard
that details all the horrors and atrocities that person committed.

Wrong way to record history
(c) If we were to construct new museums to house all of those statues of
those tyrants etc, in the future despotic leaders would also erect
countless statues of themselves if they knew those statues would be
preserved and maintained in some museum. We should not give ruthless
rulers this negative motivation. Otherwise, heinous exploiters will be
keen to make more and more statues of themselves if they knew all those
statues would be enshrined forever. So all that is needed is to keep one
very tiny version of a statue with a placard that details all the
horrors and atrocities that person committed.
(d) Verily keeping a grand number of those statues is the wrong way to
record history. Baba guides us that history should recount the tales and
trials of the common people and should not falsely glorify heinous
leaders in the form of statues etc. A massive display of those statues
would also overshadow the historical record of benevolent social leaders
and seers who worked for the welfare of society.
(e) The statues of such tyrants should be yanked down, smashed into
pieces, or ground down into dust - or left to crumble and decay in some
desolate location etc. All that is needed is to keep one very tiny

Conclusion
Due to the advent of Mahasambhuti, the era of neo-humanism is fast on
the rise. The public has become awakened to the systemic exploitation
and exerted tremendous energy to tear down the barriers that have
separated people for ages. They are tired of being subjugated to the
savagery, hatred, and barbarity of bigotry and racism etc. People are
quickly rallying around a common human sentiment, unknowingly embracing
Baba’s given ideals of neo-humanism. Verily, Sadguru Baba has come,
given the teachings, and created the vibration, and now in very short
order we are witnessing its manifestation.

The case of religious statues
In general, statues of deities should be preserved. If there are so many
statues of the same deity, then they need not all go in a museum etc,
but at the very least those statues should be removed in a respectful
manner and dealt with in a psychological setting. Baba guides us not to
go against the religious sentiment of those dogmatic followers; rather,
that will only incite them to follow their dogmatic religion in a more
fervent manner. The case of heinous generals, ruthless dictators, and
political opportunists is completely different. Those statues can be
yanked down and destroyed. And the history should be rewritten. All that
is needed is to keep one very tiny version of a statue with a placard

The Propounder of Ananda Marga philosophy says, "I suggest that in
the writing of history there should be a radical change. The history
written so far is a history of kings and monarchs. It should be
thoroughly overhauled and completely rewritten – rewritten in the

तुम्हारे सिवा इस संसार में कोई मेरा अपना नहीं है जो मेरे सुख दुःख में
सदा साथ रहे।
प्रभु, मैंने अपने जीवन में कितने लांछना निंदा झूठा आरोप आदि सहा है,
जिसके कारण दुख से कष्ट से आँसू बहाए है, मेरे उन आँसुओं को पोछनेवाला और
कोई नहीं था, सिर्फ़ तुम थे । बाबा, तुम्हारे सिवा मेरा कोई नहीं है।
बाबा ! तुम तीनों लोकों में सदा विराजमान हो, पहले भी थे आज भी हो भविष्य
में भी सदा रहोगे। अन्य लोग आते हैं जाते है पैदा होते हैं मरते है तुम
हमेशा विराजमान हो, तुम मेरे हो इसलिए मैं तुम्हें पाना चाहता हूँ। बाबा,
तुम्हारे सिवा इस दुनिया में कोई मेरा अपना नहीं है।
प्रभु, अनादि से अनंत तक तुम हो, जीवों को प्यार से भरपूर करते हो, इसलिए
मैं सुख दुःख में तुम्हारा गुण गाता हूँ। बाबा, तुम्हारे सिवा इस दुनिया
में कोई मेरा अपना नहीं है, सिर्फ़ तुम मेरे हो।
