Special quality of "Baba says" + 3 more

Baba

Special quality of "Baba says"

Namaskar,

When we hear the phrase 'Baba says', we become pointed and sharp and a blissful vibration flows through the mind as well as throughout our entire being. Because for every A'nanda Ma'rgii the phrase 'Baba says' denotes that the words to follow will be all-loving, rational truths that lead a sadhaka and the whole humanity along the path of welfare and enlightenment.

Speaker matters: AM vs religions

At the same time, we know and understand that when done in the name of one of the religious propounders then that is dogma. There are countless loopholes in the dogmatic verses from the various religions. In contrast, the teachings of Ananda Marga represent verifiable truths that stand up to the test of logic and rational analysis. This much every Ananda Margii has realised.

All know that the phrase 'Baba says' is not just a quote from Baba but by definition an eternal universal truth. And side by side Baba directs us to use our minds so we never blindly follow any teaching but ensure that it holds up to rational analysis.

Yuktiyuktamupa'deyam' vacanam' ba'laka'dapi;
Anyam'trn'avat tya'jyamapyayuktam Padmajanmanah.

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "If even a young boy says something logical, it should be accepted, and if the Supreme Creator Brahma' says something illogical, it should be rejected as rubbish." (1)

Therefore, Baba directs us to apply our rational minds to each and every line that we hear while walking this earth. And when done, we can easily see that all the teachings of Ananda Marga stand as 100% representations of truth which hold up to the test of scientific review and logical analysis, as well as the inner spiritual feeling of the human heart.

In direct opposition to this, the myths of the dogmatic religions demand blind adherence to the letter or their proclamations because their so-called teachings are illogical and unverifiable falsehoods that have no relevance to the hard reality of this earth. For instance, those religious proclamations that go against the scientific theory of evolution or those religious mandates that suppress women and label the entire female gender as being third class citizens. These are but a few of the countless illogical and dogmatic teachings which stem from the mouths of various religious propounders.

Conclusion

Any rational human being can easily see that such religious myths are bound up in falsehood and have no relevance to the reality of this world. Such assertions have no bearing on truth. Yet that is what those unfortunate religious followers are coerced to adhere to those trouble-ridden, illogical proclamations. Whereas each and every thing Baba says is perfectly verifiable and wholly consistent with the logic and reasoning.

Namaskar,
In Him,
Parama'tma

Religious preachings are myths

What the Bible says are myths that cannot be tested or verified on the measuring rod of logic and reasoning.
What the Koran (Quran) says are myths that cannot be tested or verified on the measuring rod of logic and reasoning.
What the Torah says are myths that cannot be tested or verified on the measuring rod of logic and reasoning.
What the Ramayana says are myths that cannot be tested or verified on the measuring rod of logic and reasoning.
The grand truths all-knowing Sadguru Baba has given can be verified through logic, reasoning, debate, and analysis.

Surrender to Ista

To gain success and progress on any path there must be firm faith and belief that the teachings of that path are correct - especially in the realm of spirituality where everything depends upon the Guide or Preceptor.

In spiritual life, one is wholly dependent on the Preceptor in order to move ahead - because without Him the path is unknown, one cannot see where to go. That is why a key ingredient for movement along the path of spirituality is unconditional surrender at the lotus feet of Guru. One should feel in their heart that 'Their Guru is the best' - the top-most One.

Baba furthermore tells us that when one has the requisite amount of surrender then a special feeling of "vishva's" develops: firm faith and deep belief in the Guru.

Here we are not talking about any type of worldly confidence or self-esteem or mundane determination. Baba's definition of success in the spiritual realm comes when one is fully linked with the Guru and one has implicit trust and faith in their Is't'a. And when that amount of vishva's (firm faith and trust) is present, then and only then can one reach their Goal. Without that it is just a waste of time.

Ananda Marga ideology states, "One needs a firm determination (vishva's) to progress....'Phalis'yatitii vishva'sa siddherprathama laks'aman'a'. 'I must succeed'. This sort of firm determination is the precondition for success." (2)

Ananda Marga ideology guides us, "I must have fulfillment" -- "I must attain final beatitude" -- this strong conviction is the stepping stone to success." (3)

Singular culture

Prout philosophy states, "Culture is a vague term. It is the collective name for different expressions of life. People eat, enjoy hospitality, laugh on some occasions and shed tears on others, and thereby express life through various actions. The collective name of all these actions is culture."

"According to PROUT all of society has the same culture. There are local variations in the mode or state of cultural expression, but the expression is universal. While everybody eats, some eat by hand, others by stick and still others by spoon. Indian dance is based on Mudrá or dance postures, and European dance is based on rhythm, but they do not represent two different cultures."

"Local variations will diminish if there is a close blending between different groups of people, because this will create common customs. In Nepal there is a blending of Hindu and Buddhist customs. In Bengal there is a blending of Aryan and Dravidian customs. These local variations are called customs. Thus local modes of expression bearing local or group specialities are customs, but the expression itself is culture. Therefore it is a mistake to readjust boundaries on the basis of language and culture. Indian culture and the culture of the world are one and the same." (1)

Reliant upon grace

Ananda Marga philosophy states, "Q. 24 – Is the freedom that human beings possess absolute or is it something like “Dominion Status”?"

"Ans.: – You cannot call it absolute freedom. The reason is that humans are dependent on the grace of Parama Puruśa each and every moment of their lives. All their activities, whether noble or ignoble, are confined to a limited sphere. Absolute freedom is impossible without the unification of unit consciousness with Cosmic Consciousness." (1)
